Saif, Kareena will marry on October 16
In the first official confirmation from the family, Saif Ali Khan’s mother, Sharmila Tagore has said that her son will marry Kareena Kapoor on October 16.
“Yes, that’s the date we have decided upon. There will be a reception, too, but not a very big one,” said Sharmila Tagore.
Julia Roberts eyes Bollywood
According to Indian media, Hollywood actress Julia Robert is set to buy a house in India as well take a shot in the kaleidoscopic tinsel town called Bollywood.

The controversial actress Veena Malik is all set to appear in a south Indian remake of the super-hit flick ‘The Dirthy Picture’.
Veena broke the news on Twitter and wrote: “Super excited to be the part of south film industry…..just signed “THE DIRTY PICTURE”…..!!!(sic).”
Vidya Balan wins National Award for ‘The Dirty Picture’
Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has reportedly bagged the National Award in the Best Actress category for her performance in ‘The Dirty Picture’ while Girish Kulkarni has won the Best Actor award for ‘Deool’.
The official announcement of the awards came out on March 7 in the capital.

Sonam and Deepika are Non-Entities: Shobha De
Bollywood is not just a brewing cauldron of amusing movies and flicks, but also of all the star-wars and also ‘star-critic’ wars.
Sonam Kapoor and Shobha De’s smacking each other on twitter and on blogs continues to thrill us and whet our appetite for some fiery fun. Recently questioned at Karachi Literature Festival on what she holds against Sonam and Deepika, Shobha De retored,
‘ I have nothing against them. Deepika and Sonam are Non- Entities. I don’t care what they write on their twitter. I just do my job and they do theirs. If they do a dirt, I’ll call it that.’
Recapping the ‘little’ feud between the two, spanning over a couple of years, Shobha and Sonam have had enough of good time badmouthing each other. Where Shobha commented on Sonam’s airbrushed photo-op, ‘Sonam just doesn’t cut it in the sex appeal stakes’, questions her up-bringing and calls I Hate Love Stories, ‘I Hate Dumb Stories’, Sonam squelched back with an even harder hit by calling her a ‘60 years old porn writer’ and a ‘fossil who gets no action and going through a menopause.’
Sonam also flunged stones back at Ms. De when she challenged the title of Maxim’s sexiest woman awarded to Deepika by saying,
‘Deepika P is the sexiest woman on earth? Are they kidding me? She would not win a Miss Dombivali contest. I mean, look at her closely. Go on: jawline? Too wide. Eyes?Bulging. Hair line? Untidey. Speech? Verni.’
Where Deepika only responded to it in Koffee with Karan saying, people should follow some decorum in a forum even when they criticize, Sonam took up the real fight for her , ‘if she (Shobha) thinks Deepika is ordinary then she sure needs to wear glasses. Her eyesight is failing her.’
This is not the first time Shobha has had a row with celebrities, she has interestingly been engaged in quite a lot of those in her past, sometimes with Salman Khan, Arbaz Khan, and even Shahrukh Khan. Let’s see what all those crisp tweets and hard-hitting blogging leads to, but one thing can be surely said, it’s quite a platter full of sizzle, drama and entertainment to keep us glued to the Bolly-news.

Ali Zafar achieves Bollywood Award
Pakistani singer Ali Zafar he has been awarded with the “Superstar of tomorrow” award at the Stardust year 2011–2012 for his film – Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.
He has slowly been charming every bit of Bollywood through his talent and personality.
Ali Zafar has previously been nominated in a lot of Bollywood award shows but this will be his first award in the Bollywood.
Talking to ‘Geo News’, he said he was not expecting that he would get a big award, adding he was very much excited after getting this. ‘I wanted to share my happiness with all’, he said.
Ali Zafar further said he is singer and musician first and than actor. I cannot give up singing for acting, he added.

Amitabh operated successfully
Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan ‘s condition is stable has he passed through a successful abdominal surgery on Saturday here at Sevenhills hospital.
The superstar underwent knife for abdominal pain. Big B has a history of abdominal complications after his accident on the sets of Coolie in 1982.
Amitabh informed his fans about the operation on Twitter. He also seeks prayers and wishes for speedy recovery post surgery.
“I wish to thank all those that have most graciously sent in their concern and greetings for a speedy recovery. Your prayers shall go a long way in bringing me back to normal and for this I am always eternally grateful,” he wrote.

Gauri Ignores Priyanka At Award Event
All are now acquainted about Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra‘s alleged relationship and the tension brewing at SRK-Gauri’s paradise. Now Gauri could not stand Priyanka at all. Recently, at Zee Cine Awards show, Gauri Khan gave a royal ignore to Priyanka due to her closeness to King Khan.
When Gauri went to the stage to greet choreographer Shiamak Davar, Priyanka rushed to say hello to Gauri but was completely snubbed by her. Going by the latest report of Shahrukh’s closeness to Priyanka, Gauri’s approach to her welcome was obvious.
When Gauri threw a party at Mannat, all the cast and the crew of ‘Don 2’ were present except Priyanka. She was also upset when Shahrukh Khan at an event sat too close to Piggy Chops and popped into her ear something.
The report that Priyanka left Shahrukh’s office at 3am in the morning also upset Gauri.
Only Priyanka, Shahrukh and Gauri can tell what’s brewing among them but if the report of their love affair came true somehow then it would be very disheartening because Shahrukh always considered being a doting father and a loving and loyal husband.
In the long tenure of his acting career, for the first time Shahrukh Khan was roped in such controversy. With so much going around on net, Shahrukh preferred to keep mum on the issue.
