I think as a female you should not have more and you should not have mean. Art is for everybody. Music is for everybody. So I think males and females play an equal role and for us as Saudi females to be given the opportunity to express the beauty of the arts and music that we can share with the world. This is something so important and we're very happy to be given this opportunity. 

Female representation is high on the agenda for Middlebeast Soundstorm organizers. I really make sure that we have diversity in our events, whether in the lineup, whether in our attendees. We always make sure that our experiences is catered to females as well. Maybe I'm one of the few people who are in this position, but I'm hoping more to have more females in this place. Just like the artists. The crowd here are electric and diverse, but they do have one main thing in common. 

They're all here just for the music. There's a Dawn Saint and there was a little bit of jazz on the other side. And Fiesta is here now with some DJing, so it's a big diversity. Let's look at the lineup. Saw Swedish House Mafia, so we thought we'd go. We've just walked in. I mean, look at this. It's incredible, really. It feels amazing being from Riyadh, hosting the biggest music festival in the Middle East. 

It's a lot bigger than anything we have in South Africa. Never seen anything this size. The festival site actually spans more than five and a half million square meters. Park life areas for food outlets and street performers kept festival goers entertained between sets at what's been dubbed the loudest week in Riyadh. And there's a lot of noise already about how it's going to expand in future editions. New reports suggest that Saudi Arabia's crown prince is the mysterious buyer of a rare Leonardo DA Vinci painting.

It was a very special day, I have to say, when it was here in the studio in the corner. The Wall Street Journal reports that Prince Mohammed bin Salman used a proxy to buy the masterpiece. While Holly Williams has just returned from Saudi Arabia, she's with us in Istanbul with more on how this purchase could reflect the prince's vision for the kingdom. 

Holly, good morning. Good morning. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is known as a fan of the arts and as a reformer. But this reported purchase, which we cannot independently confirm, comes as he also leads a corruption crackdown on Saudi Arabia's wealthy elite. Crown Prince Muhammad is king Salman's anointed successor in his oil rich Islamic kingdom. The reported purchase of a painting for nearly half a billion dollars might not look good in the midst of leading a corruption crackdown, though there's no suggestion the money was ill gotten. 

Its pocket change compared to the staggering misuse of public funds revealed by economy Minister Mohammed Altawajeri $20 billion a year. $20 billion a year has been lost to corruption. It's negligence. It's overspending. Altawajeri took over as minister after the last one was reportedly detained for corruption last month. One of more than 300 rounded up for questioning. Some held in a luxury hotel, apparently including several members of the Saudi royal family. 

Critics say that what the crown prince is doing with this corruption crackdown is sidelining or silencing his rivals. Do you think he needs that? He's the most popular leader we come across in our history. That might be true, but criticizing the crown prince would be downright dangerous. I went to Wales. It's only in London that Saudi dissident Hanim al Dasari dares to make videos satirizing the Saudi government. 

He says Saudi corruption is much bigger than the current clampdown. Speaking up your mind. This is a crime in Saudi Arabia. People has disappeared and being charged for tweets. Those detained in this corruption crackdown will be forced to hand over part of their fortunes. It's thought those payments could total up to $100 billion. Biana. The timing of that purchase does raise eyebrows, though, when the talk is about transparency and corruption.

And he that sat on him had a bow and a crown was given unto him. And he went forth conquering and to conquer sam Lama kindreds and tongues and nations.

If thieves came to thee if robbers by night, how art thou cut off? Would they not have stolen till they had enough? If the grape gatherers came to thee would they not leave some grapes? How are the things of Esau searched out? How are his hidden things sought up. All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border. The men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee and prevailed against thee. 

They that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee. There is none understanding in him. Shall I not in that day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom and understanding out of the mount of Esau? And thy mighty men, o Temmon, shall be dismayed to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter. For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee and thou shalt be cut off forever. 

In the day that thou stoodest on the other side in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces and foreigners entered into his gates and cast lots upon Jerusalem even thou wast as one of them. But thou shouldst not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger. Neither shouldst thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction. 

Neither shouldst thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. Thou shouldst not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity. Yea. Thou shouldst not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity. Neither shouldst thou have stood in the crossway to cut off those of his that did escape. 

Neither shouldst thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress. For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen. As thou hast done it shall be done unto thee. Thy reward shall return upon thine own head. For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain so shall all the heathen drink continually. Yea, they shall drink and they shall swallow down and they shall be as though they had not been. 

But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance and there shall be holiness. And the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire and the house of Joseph a flame and the house of Esau for stubble and they shall kindle in them and devour them. And there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau for the Lord hath spoken it. 

And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau and they of the Plain, the Philistines and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim and the fields of Samaria. And Benjamin shall possess Gilead. And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites even unto Zarephath. And the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in sephirad shall possess the cities of the south. 

And Saviors shall come up on Mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau. And the kingdom shall be the Lord's sam. Sam. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are passed through the forbearance of God.
