Louvre Museum Heist: How Why It Happened Plus NASA Launches 3I/ATLAS Probe

This is literally something that should have happened back in the 1800s, the way that they did it and it happened in 2025. That’s what I’m, like, supposed to be. All the. All the art pieces are protecting themselves from getting stolen. It’s hilarious. This is the first time Lindsay’s ever thought AI was cool.

This next one actually shows the footage that we’re talking about with them going down the. Just the planning. Dude, we could create such funny skits from this. I know that that’s. That is actually them going. They go. And it looks like they DRO something. And then. We are running out of time. Get on the scooters. Yeah. LA Police. LA Police. Get out of scoot now. We will not outsmart them. We will outrun them. So if, you know, I was thinking about this, I mean, I would. I couldn’t even begin to think of how to pull anything off like this.

But that’s because you’re a good person. Yeah, but if you wouldn’t even go there in the first place, right? No, I wouldn’t. Our time is better spent actually organizing something important. Not retardation. Yeah. Well, so there. I think there’s two things that happen. Either somebody was working on the inside and told them. Exactly. Window. Or. Or somebody who is, like, potentially part of the elite society, knew what was going on and told them what to do. Well, so this is the thing is like, there has to be connections here with someone who knew the security pitfalls or.

Because think about it. If you had guys in there observing things for a really long time, going to the museum over and over again and staring at that window, you’d have that on. On camera somewhere. Somewhere. It wasn’t that necessarily. Yeah, we’re talking about stuff that’s going on behind the scenes with schematics and a lot of intel. So someone on the inside, who’s probably even still there, maybe even getting interviewed right now, had to have given them intel. That’s what I’m thinking too. But. But the other question is, like, you know, what would you. So what’s the smart thing to do? It’s.

It’s like you either leave the area immediately, like get on a plane or something. As fast as possible, or you literally stay in the area because it’s the last place that they would. They would look, you know? Yeah. You’d want everything to look like normal life, but they could be hiding in a basement somewhere, smoking French cigarettes and, you know, saluting one another. We did it. Yeah. I mean, that. And that’s what I was. That’s what I was thinking, you know? That’s why if they escaped on scooters, most likely they just were trying to act like tourists or something, you know? I mean, that’s what I would do, like, have a camera and just stop and take photos of, like, well, looks.

Look what’s going on. Meanwhile, you have, like, $100 million diamond in your bag, you know? But I had a. I had a scooter once. Had I known that a scooter could pull off such an amazing heist, I may not be the man you see today. Oh, man. Did you. Speaking of, man, did you see this dapper dude that was photographed? And everyone thought he was, like, the. The inspector? This guy. This guy. Dude. Only in Paris. Right there. Seriously? So I thought this was AI this is an official. Dude. This photo. This looks like a photo from, like, 1970.

That’s why everybody is commenting on it, like, this guy did it. This guy’s like, I want to see the aftermath. I funded it. You figured it out, man. He’s. He’s the one behind it. Oh, my God. You don’t wear a hat like that, and you’re not a shady guy, dude. He’s like, I’m the youngest Frenchman who’s ever pulled off a heist. Yeah. This guy’s like, this guy needs to go away before I plow. I’m just gonna. I’m just gonna punch him in the face. Thai Bolt Camus was the one who took this photo, and he just said that, you know, he arrived on the scene and just started taking photos.

And then, lo and behold, this, like, you know, this dude just started, like, walking through, and so he just got a photo of it, you know, and then it’s like. It just went crazy. Vi. That French guy is so angry. He’s like, this is the most devastating day in French history. And I have to stare at this guy. That’s hilarious. The other thing, what was the character? Inspector Cluso. Yes. Yes. Yeah. The other thing that’s really pretty funny, actually, is the crane company, the lift, they. They. Because, you know, it got stolen from them. Yeah. And they actually came up with a pretty ingenious marketing idea, and they’re like, you know, we were just trying to get a couple laughs.

We didn’t know it was going to go viral actually, but this is. And they had a few other ones, too. Lindsay’s pulling it up here. Oh, my gosh. That’s brilliant. The, The Bakker Anglio carries your treasures up to 400 kg at 42 minutes. Meters per minute. Excuse me. Quiet as a whisper, thanks to its 230v electric motor. That wasn’t that quiet. It was like they, they also considered return on investment in only seven minutes. And even professional recriminal, even professional criminals rely on the best machines. Oh, those are really. That’s just such a kick to the family jewels.

Yeah, they just, they decided not to go with that one. And. But, you know, you know, they were like, we really. This is a serious situation. But they were like, you know, we, we were just, we just were doing. What can we do? We lost a crane. Yeah. If you can’t. If you can’t beat them, you might as well joke around about it. Yeah. And this is another meme going around saying, here, we found the missing crown jewels here. No one would ever suspect. Seriously, it was ilgato. And people in the comments were like, is that real? That was totally Italian.

And ever notice how our printers just randomly seem to fail after about two years or two prints? If it’s my printer, how about the other products like fridges, vacuums, air conditioning units, cars, toasters. Is this really just a coincidence or is it all planned? Apple is just the tip of the iceberg here. So let’s go back to the beginning of how this plan to make your household items obsolete all got started with the light bulb.

And now the Ghent Altarpiece is considered probably one of the greatest heists in all of history, and it’s probably the most valuable piece of art that’s ever been stolen. Well, I could have been any name that came out of your mouth, and it had to be theirs. Well, I know that they. They do like to have certain things, but I’m not saying that they’re responsible for it. I’m just saying. No, you just did, actually.

This completely reminded me. There’s a documentary on Netflix came out maybe last year called how to Rob a Bank, and it’s about this guy named Scott Sherlock who’s known as the Hollywood Bandit. And it’s not a pseudonym. How you. Like your last name is Sherlock? I meant Scurlock. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So he sounds more scummy. Yeah. This is. This is about the. The.

The documentary here. Is that Matthew McConaughey playing him? No, I can’t remember who it is. Should be, but. But Sherlock did make an appearance. There he is. Yeah. Say, wait a minute. That is Benedict Cumberbatch. Yeah. So what’s so fascinating about this? So these robberies took place in the 90s, and he was actually inspired by the movie Point Break so much that the very first robbery, he used the exact same masks that they used in Point Break and specifically didn’t go after the vaults, so it worked. And they could not find this guy. He and his accomplices robbed nearly 20 banks between 1992 and 1996.

Sometimes he would go in completely alone, and then what Happened was he realized, hey, I should probably have a little bit more sophisticated masks. So he started using prosthetics and everything and wigs and fake mustaches and glasses and all kinds of stuff. And authorities didn’t have a clue on where it. Where. Like, where he was. And Scott’s friend, this guy named Steve. His name is Steve Myers. He explained how they were able to evade the cops. But what’s wild is that he had premonitions. He would dream the night before, before the heist, and it was like, oh, everything’s going to work out perfectly because he would dream about it.

It’s so weird. Like, a really terrible use of your inborn abilities. Yeah, that’s what you would think. So one of the biggest heights heists that happen, what they did was they literally parked the car. They had a van, and there was. There was a parking lot, right, like, adjacent to the bank, and they parked the van at the parking lot. So after Scott did the heist, he ran across the street, got underneath the van, and they had a secret compartment, and he literally just laid in the van. Meanwhile, Steve was in a coffee shop nearby watching the whole thing unfold and being able to see the van and the bank in view.

And once all the police, like, the. Towards. Like, after a few hours, when everything cleared up, he just walked over, got in the van, and drove off, you know, so, okay. In. Ingenious. Maniacal. But they used a van, I want to point out. Not scooters. Yeah, not scooters. So these were kind of more legit heisters. Not French scooter riders. Yeah, that is true. But you know what’s weird is that they. They were giving. Scott was not doing it for the money. He was doing it for the thrill. And he was actually giving the money away of different nonprofit organizations, humanitarian organizations.

So, like, nobody even thought that this guy could be the dude that’s robbing his banks. He was like the. The Robin Hood of Heers. Yeah. And then Scott wanted to hit three banks in one day and then call it quits. And Steve had a dream few days prior to that where a shark it off his leg. And he. He knew it was a warning, and. But he said he went through with it because he’s like, this is. We’re either gonna. Like, this is either gonna kill us or we’re gonna get away. Like this. This is the end.

Either way, whatever we end up doing, this is the very end. And it was a botched job. And the ple. And the FBI got on their case, and somebody I think also reported them. And Steve was shot and he had a near death experience. And that’s what’s wild about this whole thing. And he said as he laid there dying, he. He realized that he had this whole epiphany that he’s like, oh, my gosh, my entire life has just been wasted because some money in a paper bag. Some. Some paper and other. And another paper bag. And he said in that moment, he just didn’t care.

He. He was just like, all right, you know, I’m. I’m. My life has been. I haven’t done anything good in my life, so if I die now, I’m gonna die. And then he literally woke up in the hospital and then served 20 years in prison. And then he became like this completely reformed person, you know, explaining to authorities like other heists like this. Do you remember the. The Despicable Me movies? Yeah. Isn’t. Isn’t he French? What is he. He’s. He’s Hungarian or something. All right, anyway, there’s a. There’s another character in the despicable BE movies called Dr.

Nefario. You got to pull up a. An image or a video of this guy. This is how I. This is how I view. No, no, no, you got to pull up the. The. An image of him riding a scooter. That’s hilarious. Say Dr. Nefario riding a scooter. That’s it right there. That is it. That’s hilarious. That’s them right there. The culprits of the heist in France. Anyway, what else you got for us, Ben, on heists? Well, there’s. There’s. There’s actually a lot. But you know what? We should probably get into some of the Three Eye Atlas.

We. We could go over. You know, we could actually do a whole separate episode on just like all the bank heists, or not just bank, but greatest heights in history. That. That’s definitely one of them. We can go over, like, one more. One of the. The biggest ones was actually the. Let me think. There’s a British bank of the Middle east in Beirut, 1976, where an estimated $50 million golden cash were stolen. Were stolen. But where was the one. Oh, yeah, here. Wait. No, I’m sorry. There was one that I wanted to go over, specifically the Northern.

The Northern bank robbery. Lindsay. This happened in Belfast in 20. In 2004, and they stole approximately. A gang stole approximately $50 million from headquarters. And it’s known as one of the most genius banks or genius robberies in history. And Lindsay, if you click on the, the link there, there’s a, there’s a YouTube video and you can, we can play. Yeah, play, just play it from here. It just kind of gives a summary of what happened. This is a amazing video, by the way, that could link them to the crime. The Northern bank robbery wasn’t just a crime.

It was a humiliation for law enforcement. 26 and a half million pounds stolen, families held hostage, two bank employees forced to help, and the robbers disappearing without a trace. The police had one job, find out who did it and they failed. To this day, the case remains open, yet unsolved. Thank you so much. If you’ve made it this far. That video is like a 25 minute video. But it was. It’s so fascinating how they pulled this off because they literally forced the bank manager to do everything for them and they didn’t even, they didn’t even show up.

It was a phone call that was made and they had supposedly. Well, they, they had his wife held hostage and he had no choice but to help them with the heist. And it was so detailed and so thorough that they, they couldn’t even figure out who, what happened. And, and he was actually arrested for a year, but they had zero evidence to. To hold against him. And, you know, there was no, it’s not a single record. There was not any phone conversations. There was no bank transactions. Nothing to prove that he had the money. That sounds like a heist that Hans Gruber would pull off from Die Hard.

I was gonna say. Oh, yeah, yeah. He was having Nakatomi killed Nakatomi. He was having the people there basically get into the vaults along with some other guys. Anyway, he fell out of a really high window, so, yeah. Rest in peace, Hans Gruber. Alan Rickman. Yeah. Alan Rickman, the man, the myth, the legend. Yeah, it’s pretty wild, all these heists and everything. But since we are kind of getting towards the end, have you ever Atlas too? Because we’re on the subject of Die Hard. Have you ever watched the Supernatural series? Not as much, no. I mean, it’s very good.

I have friends that watch it. I’m in like season. How many seasons are there? 15. I’m on season 13 right now. And there is an absurd amount of Die Hard references in every season. I’m just like, wow, these guys love Die Hard. In this recent season, one of the bad guy is in. They call, they call it Hitomi Plaza instead of Nakatomi Plaza. And like, they’re in. This is where all the bad stuff is taking place. And it’s Actually pretty hysterical that they, they do that all the time. Anyway, let’s go on to Three Eye Atlas.

Cool. Yeah. Three Eye Atlas. So, yeah, you know, it’s coming. It’s going to be the closest in about five days or so before it goes off to Jupiter, to Earth. And there’s, there’s a lot of silence from the big everyone, from everybody, you know, everybody. There’s a lot of fake. Except, except Avi Loeb. He’s been pretty vocal about it. Yeah, there’s a lot of fake posts. There’s a lot of AI stuff. There’s a lot of posts going around saying that he’s claiming this or that or that other people are claiming this or that. There’s photos going around and like more I’m looking into all that.

It’s like, it doesn’t really look like they’re real, so. But, but, but that’s Avi Loeb. Yeah, I mean, he’s the one that’s been questioning this whole thing. That’s a real background. Yeah, that is. Whoever photoshopped that is. Yeah. Wow, good job. Yeah, he’s floating in space. But. So what’s wild is that NASA, very quietly, without even telling anybody, launched a defense probe to protect Earth from 3i atlas. It’s a NASA coordinated group. And they, they, they were observing it and then they. It was after it was seen emitting and never seen before alloy and it was exhibiting other strange behaviors.

That’s why they decided to launch this probe. So in other words, it was emitting metals that shouldn’t be emitting. Also, Avi. Now one thing that Avi Loeb did state is that he believes that the light emitting from this, it has its own light source. You know, we, we see comics the Reptilians gotta see somehow, you know. Yeah. Well, we see comets glow because it’s actually being reflected from the sun. This is not the case. It does have its own light source, which is very fascinating. But yeah, you know, they have their, they have their space high beams on.

Yeah. So the International Asteroid Warning Network has been alerted, you know, And I think NASA’s kind of like, they didn’t say anything, but it’s kind of under the impression like, oh, well, this is an asteroid and something could potentially happen, you know, but it’s like it shouldn’t change course because it’s an asteroid and asteroids don’t just change course for no reason. So. But, so why are they doing this? It’s kind of weird, right? So. But it also included what they called an anti tail of jet particles that points towards the sun instead of away from it.

And that’s, it’s, it’s almost like it’s backwards. It’s flying backwards like so a comet always has a tail behind the main thing and this is the other way. It’s, it’s facing the other way, going towards the sun. They have no idea how, why, or. There’s no theories. There’s absolutely zero, zero theories. And it’s, it’s, it’s like we don’t even have an excuse for this. So we’ll just not talk about it. No, but also, I mean anytime NASA’s involved, I’m always thinking the opposite of what’s going on. Them launching a probe for defense seems just like a.

I don’t think they would do that if they really launched a, if they were really trying to launch some type of defense or. And I don’t mean a literal launch, I mean, you know what I’m trying to say. It just all, everything they do is for optics, it seems. So. I just seriously doubt what they’re telling us in that article. Not the information, but the NASA part of it and what they’re doing. So what they, the, the, the, the specific alloy that they found that this thing ejected was nickel terra carbonyl. I know, I don’t even know what that is.

But it’s only in manufacturing. It’s like a byproduct in manufacturing of like a. Yeah, because. Because the heat and all the stuff that it would take to create the alloy is going to be something you can’t do without or no certain amount of heat that you’d have to manufacture. So that’s what Avi Loeb was stating. He said that this is really weird because a natural comet wouldn’t be generating this kind of alloy. So what is going on? And it’s also. Loeb also mentioned that the object’s non gravitational acceleration and the strange trajectory of it will bring it suspiciously closer to Jupiter, Venus and Mars.

And you know, originally that that’s what they were surprised about too. It seemed that the, the trajectory kind of. That’s what we were talking about near earlier on in some of the previous episodes where it kind of started curving away from the sun, no less, where if we saw it change, it should go toward the sun. And this is going out from the sun. So another. And then also there was a coronal mass ejection from the sun that had no effect on this object. And you know, one of the questions that I had was Elon, because you know, he’s Always kind of denying aliens and UFOs and everything else.

Yes. So somebody did in a very extensive search to see if Elon has mentioned. Talked about. Yeah, that is strange. I mean, it’s strange. He hasn’t mentioned anything. He has not said a word about it. He’s. He. There’s not a single post. There’s nothing him. But I mean, that fits in with his. That fits in with his. His narrative because he may not be able to talk about this stuff because his contracts will get pulled. That. That is. Why does that thing look like a croissant to me? Pull that back up. Look at that. That’s not.

That’s the croissant that cat was eating. It is. Maybe that’s where the. Maybe this thing actually is the one that. That took all the. Right now there’s a bunch of robbers that are riding into that thing with scooters. We’ll never see them again. So that was a. What we were seeing. There was a coronal mass ejection. Coronal mass croissant. That’s a good one, Lindsay. Oh, that’s funny. So. Yeah, so. And it didn’t have any effect on the object. And then. Yeah, that’s weird. And then the other thing. Yeah. As I mentioned earlier, that it has its own light.

You know, that was a fact that I, I didn’t. I don’t think we mentioned previously. It did change color. That. That was something else that. That came out too. There’s a photo going around what looks almost like a. A galaxy. And it’s like, oh, this was taken by this satellite thing. And. And I didn’t include it in here because it. It is fake. Everyone’s talking about it. Like everybody is sharing that image. And the more I kept looking into just seemed that it was created by AI but it’s really hard to say with all this stuff.

But. But I couldn’t find original. You know, if I can’t find the original source for something, that. That kind of gives me a big question mark. It’s like, hey, you know, if. If this was legit, you know, but then it was like, oh, leaked image. And like, leaked image from where? You know, it does look like an AI thing. So it’s hard. It’s just hard to say with all this stuff. But. Well, there’s a lot of people too that are finding images and then trying to have AI up res the image. And then what AI comes up with from the up res is like, come on.

It’s like, that’s not credible. It’s just A. It’s a guess AI is making. This is Lindsay. Can you click on this? More weird images here. These are actually legit. And the question is, no one really knows what these things are. It’s a space volcano. Yeah, that’s what it looks like. That’s what I was thinking, too. Look at the. Look at the man in there. Look at the face. Does look like a face. Look at the face in the. It looks like a. It looks like a really hairy guy from the Renaissance leaning back, putting his arm out, maybe.

Maybe a martial artist. What the heck is that? I don’t know. He seems to be wearing one of those hoods with the little bear ears on it, you know? Yeah, that’s who’s visiting us, guys. Oh, man. Yeah. So Magic Annie said it’s Bob Ross. I knew we went somewhere that did look like Bob Ross. He’s painting in space now. He actually didn’t die. Happy little star system. The aliens that took him, you know. You know, something else that’s been going around too, with the name Three Eye Atlas, some people are referring it to as Third Eye.

At last. Like, we were finally able to see it. And it’s kind of. If they end that post with love and light, I’m just gonna throw myself off a cliff. I did find the image that. That is going around that everybody is saying is real. Okay. All I can say is I can’t really confirm it one way or the other. I haven’t officially found that it was AI But I haven’t been able to find the source of it either. It’s just basically the scene. Oh, great. No, put the. Dude, what? Soundtrack was so good. So supposedly this was leaked by the Japanese, and there’s obviously a lot of other things traveling within the vessel. This is. But that looks bad. Yeah, it just doesn’t look. It doesn’t look like a real image. But especially this. This. The photo. The still photo looks kind of real. This does not. This does not look real. What are you talking about? This is, like, totally symmetrical. Yeah, it would not be like that. Especially if it’s a space rock and it’s the size.

Okay, maybe in the middle. Is that it? I don’t know. But, you know, again, I mean, a lot of. A lot of people are sharing it and a lot of people are calling out that. That it’s. That it’s a. That it’s AI And I, I haven’t been able to find. It’s like, oh, leaked by the Japanese. Well, where, you know, if it was just leaked by the Japanese, they would say what satellite they took it from, you know. And you know, Japanese is an entire race, Right. Can you be more specific? So, yeah, it’s like, it’s a lot.

Yeah. Released by the Japanese. The entire race of the Japanese released this photo. All of them. Yeah, all of them collectively. They just got together and they were like, let’s release this. And then right into the sunset on some mopeds trying to escape from Three Eye Atlas on Earth. So I will just go to a different corner of Earth, try to escape. Different corner of our island. Our island country. Yeah, I, I honestly don’t think that’s real. And. And it kind of annoys me by how many people are sharing it. He’s got the baguette. Look. Hey, it’s me.

I just thought, get me a baguette. You hide the jewels inside the baguette right there. That’s what they did. Ever know? They’ll think it’s a sandwich. It’s perfect. We figured it out. Yeah, that’s the answer. Anyone French has got to have those goggles on the helmet too. It’s just, it’s gotta, it’s gotta be a thing. Yes, Hilarious. Very funny.
