That’s rather large. A very lengthy NOTAM. That would have disrupted the air travel in the area big time, but it’s now gone. They were also associating one with around Louisiana or New Orleans, but that’s from Mardi Gras and that happens all the time. This one is different. I will say they’ve lifted this one, but they still have one over Santa Teresa. They have restrictions in place for what I’m reading right now. Why? If there’s nothing big going on then why is restrictions up down there still? There seems like there’s something happening and they’re trying to downplay it is what it feels like here.
Like it’s not a big deal. Now of course drones have been coming across the border ever since drones have been invented, but this seems to be different. It is different. You don’t just fill up NOTAMs for no reason. So something’s going on in a 10-day window and then they shut it down and now Santa Teresa we’re watching these things. Apparently has everything to do with Mexican Cartel, drones down there, the US military, and they had an operation and rolled out some kind of tech to deal with this down there. So you’ve got 45 miles north of Fort Bliss down there.
You’ve got the White Sands Missile Range. You’ve got a lot of strategic military assets in the area. So I don’t think they’re going to take anything like this lightly and it seems that that’s all that we have right now regarding to the situation. Uncommon News is down there covering this. He is in the El Paso area. He has on the ground firsthand knowledge of everything that’s going down there and he is heading down to the Santa Teresa area today as well and he may get some footage if there’s any drone activity down there.
