Summary

➡ The text argues that there is overwhelming evidence supporting the existence and works of Jesus Christ. This evidence includes 25,000 ancient copies of the New Testament, references to Jesus by non-Christian historians, and archaeological findings that confirm biblical accounts. The text also highlights fulfilled prophecies as proof of Jesus’s divinity.
➡ Mathematician Peter Stoner calculated that the odds of Jesus fulfilling just eight of the messianic prophecies were one in 100 quadrillion, but Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies. The article also discusses the resurrection, arguing that the empty tomb and the eyewitness accounts of over 500 people seeing Jesus alive after his death are strong evidence of its truth. It dismisses alternative explanations such as Jesus not actually dying, the body being stolen, or the resurrection being a legend. The article concludes that the only explanation that fits all the facts is that Jesus rose from the dead, leading to the spread of Christianity worldwide.
➡ This text emphasizes the belief in God’s existence and ultimate authority, regardless of individual beliefs. It encourages acknowledging and accepting Jesus Christ as the way to salvation, stating that denial doesn’t change the truth. The text also invites readers to question their beliefs, soften their hearts, and accept the grace offered by Jesus Christ. It concludes by promising future discussions on spiritual arguments and the reality of Jesus.

The year it’s 2025, but it doesn’t really matter if you’re watching this in 2025, 21, 25, any year in between, the point I’m trying to make is this. We have smartphones, we have AI, we have quantum computers, we’ve mapped the human genome, we are manipulating the human genome. Humanity has claimed victory over nature itself, and yet, despite all of that, billions of people, billions, still believe in Jesus Christ. Why? No, it’s not because they’re ignorant, it’s not because that they refuse to see the truth, no. It’s because the evidence for Jesus Christ is overwhelming, and it’s beyond overwhelming.

It’s to the point where it’s undeniable. So let me ask you this. If you don’t believe in Jesus, why? Why not? What’s your reason? Because honestly, what I’m about to show you proves without any shadow of a doubt that non-belief in Jesus today, in 2025, or 21, 25, whenever you’re watching this, it’s not about the lack of evidence, okay? It’s not about an intellectual problem, no. The evidence is so overwhelming that the only reason that people don’t believe in Jesus today, the only reason, there’s one, and what that reason is, we’re going to get into that in a minute.

But first, we’re going to lay out some of this basic evidence, and by the end of this, the evidence should be screaming at you so loud that there’s really no, there’s no way around it. So let’s just start with the manuscripts. We have 25,000 ancient copies of the New Testament. 25,000. Think about that. Homer’s Iliad, one of the most trusted ancient accounts outside of the Bible anyway. It has 643 copies, I believe, and scholars, well, they trust it completely. Plato’s writings, seven. There’s seven copies of Plato’s writings. Yet, Plato was taught in every single university, every single college, high schools, schools all around the world, and there’s no question about his authenticity, okay? There’s nobody questioning whether these seven copies of Plato were forgeries if they’re real, if they’re fake.

Why? Because when it comes to Jesus Christ, suddenly the standards change. The earliest New Testament is somewhere from 70 AD, which is about 40 years after he died, to around 180, depending on who he talked to. Most people are generally agreeing that it was around 70 AD, 40 years after he died, well, resurrected because he didn’t die, and we’ll get into that too. So 40 years, do you remember what happened 40 years ago? Do you remember what people told you, a conversation that you had 40 years ago? I’m 40, okay? And I almost remember 40 years ago.

40 years after his resurrection, that’s less than one generation. So when this thing started circulating, when these things were circulating, and also I should bring up that a lot of scholars agree that the first fragments that we have from around that time, those weren’t the first ones, that there was earlier texts, that there was earlier scrolls that have been lost to history. Most scholars agree that there probably was an earlier document, and they call it the Q Document, I believe. And here’s the thing, guys, most ancient texts, they have like a thousand year gap between the original and the earliest surviving copy, the New Testament, less than 100 years, less than 50 years, okay? And what about the textual accuracy around those 25,000 manuscripts? A lot of people might be saying that those, oh, those manuscripts, that’s not the New Testament that we have today, that’s a whole different thing, wrong.

And these scholars have concluded that there’s an over 99.5% accuracy rating among all these 25,000, meaning that they’re pretty much identical. And all the variations in that 0.5% is nothing but like spelling errors, grammatical errors, a few different word placements here and there, but nothing that affects doctrine, and nothing that takes away or changes the overarching story of Jesus, okay? So we have more evidence for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ than we do, let’s say, Julius Caesar crossing the Rubicon, yet there’s no scholars that doubt the existence of what Caesar did, or the existence of Caesar, or what historians say he did, okay? The double standard here, it’s ludicrous, it’s insane, and it’s mind-blowing that people don’t see through the lies.

And a lot of people might be saying, well, I don’t trust Christian sources because there’s a lot of skin in the game. And I want to look elsewhere, if I’m going to look at these, it’s not going to be from a Christian source, because they’re trying to prove their own religion. And that’s wildly inaccurate, for one. And also, you don’t even have to look at Christian sources in order to prove the accuracy of a historic Jesus Christ, right? Let’s look at his enemies, the people who hated him, the people who killed him, Jewish historian, not a Christian, he was a Jewish historian.

His name was Josephus, and he wrote 93 AD references to Jesus Christ. He calls him the Messiah. He mentions his brother James, describes John the Baptist. And there’s another one, Tacticus, another Roman historian. He hated Christians. He hated Christians a lot, in fact. And he confirmed that Jesus was executed under Pontius Pilate during Tiberius Caesar’s reign. There was another Roman general named, I think his name was Pilny Younger. Maybe I’m getting that wrong, but he was a governor, and he wrote letters describing Christians worshiping Jesus as God. And let’s not forget about the Jewish Talmud, which is openly hostile to Jesus.

But it still confirms that he performed miracles. Now, of course, they attributed these miracles to sorcery, instead of divine power, which has been proven false over and over again. But it doesn’t take away from the fact that they still admit that he performed miracles. And that’s why they killed him, because he was performing miracles. They just didn’t believe that he was from God. And we know now, you know, 2000 years later, that yes, there’s no question about it. He is from God. He is God. He is the Son of God.

And he is the one and only Messiah. Okay. So do you understand what this means? It means Jesus’s enemies documented his existence and his works. They couldn’t deny that he lived, and he did extraordinary things, miracles. They just disputed the source of his power. And that, in my opinion, that’s the strongest possible historical evidence. Your opponents are admitting the facts. They’re admitting that, yes, this guy was real. This guy did have those powers. The things that he said were accurate, but they just, for whatever reason, they didn’t want to believe that it came from God.

Now let’s talk about the archaeology. Okay. A lot of skeptics will claim that the Bible made something up. They’ll say, oh, this whole thing is fake. It never happened. The Bible just makes this up. It discredits the whole Bible. But then something happens. Archaeologists will dig up this site that the Bible’s talking about and find proof that these people are wrong. They’ll prove them wrong over and over again. The pools of Bethesda? Well, John 5 describes it in detail, but skeptics, what did they say? For almost 2000 years, skeptics were like, oh, these things are just symbolic.

They don’t exist. And this proves the Bible is not accurate. Then in 1888, archaeologists found exactly what John described. Okay. They found these pools and it matched exactly what John said in the Bible. And this type of thing takes place time and time again. What about Pontius Pilate? For years, I mean, I’m talking 2000 years almost, skeptics doubted the existence of Pontius Pilate. Then in 1961, they found the Pilate stone, an inscription that was confirming that he was the prefect of Judah. And now it’s in the history books. Time and time again, archaeologists uncover things that prove the Bible to be accurate.

And it’s never happened the other way, by the way. There’s never any discovery that shows that the Bible isn’t accurate. It’s all confirming its authenticity. Time and time again, over and over again. Another discovery was one of the high priests who presided over Jesus’ trial. They found his burial box, proving him to be an actual person. It was found in 1990. And what about Nazareth? Okay. The town that Jesus is from. Skeptics said it didn’t exist. Excavations proved that the historical Nazareth is, in fact, a real place. The pattern is clear, everybody.

The Bible describes real places, real people, and real events. And we can verify that it is accurate. Now let’s talk about some prophecy, because here’s where it gets impossible. You can’t explain this away. Micah 5.2 was written 700 years, somewhere around there, before Jesus, 700 years. Think about that. That’s insane. And yet, it predicts the Messiah will be born in Bethlehem. Jesus, born in Bethlehem. Isaiah 714, 700 years before that, predicted a virgin birth. Mary. Psalm 22, written a thousand years before the crucifixion was even invented. Think about that. A thousand years before the Roman crucifixion was invented, before anybody even thought of it.

A thousand years. That’s an extremely large timeline. Nobody knew about crucifixion. It wasn’t invented. Nobody’s done it yet. And yet, Psalm 22 talks about crucifixion. It describes it perfectly, describing exactly what happened to Jesus. That his hands and feet would be pierced. Read Psalm 22, and then read the Gospel. The accounts are the same. It’s the same scene. Okay. And then you have this mathematician named Peter Stoner. Insert Stoner jokes here. Okay, everybody. This mathematician, Peter Stoner, calculated, using numbers, using real mathematics, the probability that one person would fulfill just eight of these messianic prophecies.

And we’re talking only eight of these prophecies. And we know that Jesus, he fulfilled hundreds of them. So what do you think the actual number is? What do you think the odds are that Jesus, he fulfilled eight of these prophecies. Eight. That’s it. Well, let’s just say this mathematician came up with the number one to the 17th power. That’s 100 quadrillion. That’s a real number. 100 quadrillion. Okay. 17 zeros. That’s the odds that Jesus could fulfill eight of these prophecies, but he actually fulfilled hundreds, over 300 to be exact, 300 prophecies. So if it’s one in 100 quadrillion chances that he would fulfill eight prophecies, what do you think the chances are that he would fulfill all 300? It’s impossible.

The number is so large that we can’t even wrap our heads around it. These aren’t just odds, everybody. These are impossible odds, unless God orchestrated it. Because we know that through God, all things are possible. And here’s, here’s another thing that skeptics can explain. Okay, the resurrection, the empty tomb. They’re just gonna say, oh, it didn’t happen. It couldn’t have happened. It’s impossible. How could something like that happen with everything we know about the world today, in 2025 or 2125? It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t fit with our worldview today. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that it did happen.

And it has been confirmed. It’s when you actually look at history, you look at the events that happened, use logic and critical thinking. And it will bring you to the conclusion that yes, this is fact. All right. So on Friday, Jesus was killed. And this was confirmed by the Roman executioners, who were professionals, by the way, they killed people for a living. They know when somebody’s dead. Okay. They placed them in a tomb and they sealed that tomb with a Roman seal. And then they put guards. They put Roman soldiers outside of the tomb so that nobody can open it.

Nobody can mess with the body. And then on Sunday, the tomb is empty. And you might be saying, well, somebody took the body. The disciples who scattered like cowards on Friday, and I’m not calling them cowards. I’m saying their actions, they were scared. And I get it. You know, they witnessed Jesus be horribly murdered. They had no frame of reference of what to do next. But suddenly, a few days later, they’re emboldened, they’re fearless, and they’re preaching by Sunday. They’re claiming that they saw him alive. Over 500 people saw him alive.

What does that mean? Is the text fake? No, the text is not fake, because these people were still alive when the text came out. Did they hallucinate? No, 500 people don’t share the same hallucination. And also, hallucinations don’t eat fish or let you touch their wounds. And then some skeptics might be saying, well, Jesus didn’t actually die. Roman executioners don’t make mistakes. And here’s another thing, the logic doesn’t make sense. If he did survive, those executioners would have been executed themselves for not doing their job. So they had more than just a financial gain to ensure that he was dead.

And that’s not all. Because people might be saying, did they steal the body? Maybe the disciples stole the body. Then why did they die for what they knew was a lie? If they stole his body and hid it somewhere, well, they knew it was a lie. They knew that he wasn’t resurrected, and they died for it. People don’t die for something they invented. They don’t die for something they don’t believe to be true. They die for what they believe. They don’t die for lies that they invented. It just doesn’t happen. And then some skeptics might be saying, well, the Romans, the Jews, they took the body.

They hid it. Well, why didn’t they produce the body when the disciples started preaching the resurrection? They could have stopped Christianity right there. Think about it. If the Romans or the Jews would have taken the body, as soon as Christianity started spreading, after 500 people said, hey, Jesus is alive, they produced the body. No, he isn’t. He’s right here. That would have ended Christianity. But they didn’t. Why? Because they didn’t have the body. One dead body would have stopped Christianity on day one. Simple as that. And then what about the argument that, oh, it was just a legend.

It was a legend that developed over time. It can’t be. It’s impossible. These people were still alive. These 500 people that saw Jesus were still alive when the gospels were written. And also the creed, there’s a creed in 1 Corinthians 15, and that creed dates within five years of the execution, five years. So how is it possible that it was developed over time when you have something that’s five years after the execution appearing in the Bible? The fact that the eyewitnesses were still alive, it means everything, because these were actual people. You can’t develop these legends when the eyewitnesses who are actually there can correct you.

In the time that these gospels were written, these real people were still around. Let that sink in. Because every alternative explanation has been tried for 2,000 years, and it fails. Every single one fails every single time, okay? In fact, the only explanation that fits all of these facts is that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Because within 300 years of this event, the religion of the executed Jewish carpenter became the official religion of the Roman Empire. And the argument that Constantine created this whole thing is laughable, because that’s the later part of the story.

The whole earlier part of the story that we just talked about predates Constantine by hundreds of years. Long before Constantine, there’s documentation of all these things we’re talking about, long before. So no, Constantine did not invent Christianity. But the fact that Jesus is real, and he really is the Son of God, it did. It was through the preaching of the gospel. It was through the martyrdom of the saints, the martyrdom of all of the people who were persecuted for believing in him. But they knew he was real, so they had no problem getting tortured for it.

It was through love. It was through the truth. And the truth, it kept growing. It kept growing through persecution, through the dark ages, through the enlightenment, throughout all of human history, right up until today, where we have over two billion Christians worldwide. Think about that. One third of humanity is a believer in Jesus Christ. Christianity has a presence in every single nation on earth. And he, the power of God, the power of Jesus, has changed lives on every single continent. And it still does today. So name me one other movement based on a lie that survived its founder’s execution and exploded after his death.

Oh, wait, go ahead. There isn’t one. And some skeptics might be saying, well, what about Buddha? What about Krishna? What about all the dying and rising pagan gods from Egypt and all these things that were born of a virgin and were killed and resurrected? Well, I’ll talk about that in the next video, because let’s just say that’s high spiritual warfare. And the fact that Jesus came in these manners and filled all these prophecies, it was a direct attack on that. It was a polemic. It was done on purpose. And none of those movements have any similarity to what Jesus said.

Okay. There are actually all of them are opposed to what Jesus said, because guys, Christianity is still here. It’s stronger than ever. It’s growing. It’s still alive. Just like Jesus is still alive. He’s not dead. He’s still alive. He’s just in another dimension. If you still don’t believe, and you need to be honest with yourself about this, really, if you don’t believe in Jesus, why is it? Because it can’t be about the evidence. The evidence proves without a shadow of a doubt that yes, he is real. He was killed. He was resurrected. The tomb was empty.

And now the world has been transformed because of him, because of his teachings, because of his word, because he is the Son of God. And look, we laid out some categories of evidence. Each one is independently compelling, and they all converge on the same exact truth. But there’s even more. I’m just kind of touching the surface here, guys. I’m just riffing off of this. I mean, you could do a deep dive. You can spend your whole life studying this, and you’ll still come to the same conclusions. But if you don’t believe, after all these conclusions, after all the historical proof and evidence is presented to you, well, why? Is it because you don’t want it to be true? Because if Jesus is real, if he’s God, if he rose from the dead, then you have to deal with him.

You have to, you know, because there’s no way around him. He is the door. You have to answer to him. You will. Everybody will. And you’re going to have to submit to his lordship. Is that what you’re running from? You’re scared to answer to him, to his ultimate authority, because you’re worried that the way he wants you to live isn’t the way you want to live? That’s fine if that’s the reason for not believing in him. But just because you don’t believe in him doesn’t make it not true. You can believe that Mount Everest isn’t real.

It doesn’t make it not true. You don’t have to believe in him, but he still exists, and you’re still going to have to face him regardless of your beliefs. He is the absolute truth, and there is no getting around that. So whether you believe or not, you still will have to come face to face with him at the end of your life, just like all of us will. Because he said, no man comes to the Father except through me. All right. And let me tell you something, guys. You can run from the evidence. You can ignore the manuscripts.

You can dismiss the archaeology. You can try and rationalize it any way you want. Rationalize the prophecies, explain away the resurrection. But you can ignore it. You can just put it out of sight, out of mind, right? But you can’t run forever. And one day, and this isn’t a threat, by the way. It’s a promise. One day, you will stand before him. Every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess. And here’s my ultimate question, okay? And this all boils down to this. Do you believe in him? Have you bowed down to him? Have you confessed with your tongue that he is God? And if you haven’t, why not? Are you willing to do it now before the day of salvation? Or will you bow down then when it’s too late? Because regardless, you’re going to have to bow.

You can choose to bow now, or you can bow later when you have no more options. The smart person would bow now, right? I mean, logically, you’re going to have to bow either way. You either choose, you make the choice to bow, or he makes that choice for you. Which one do you want it to be? He told us. He said, literally, I am the truth, I am the way, and I am the life. And no man comes to the Father except through me. He didn’t say that he shows you the way to the Father.

He said that he is the way to the Father, okay? He didn’t say that he teaches the truth. No, he doesn’t teach the truth. He is the truth. He doesn’t offer eternal life. He is life. You guys understand that? It’s a lot more powerful than anybody can imagine. Even I can’t imagine it. The most seasoned theologians in the world, they can kind of sort of maybe imagine it here and there. But the true power of him, the true glory of Jesus Christ is unimaginable to our human brains. We don’t have the equipment to imagine it, to see it, to feel it, to understand it.

And that’s on purpose. Because our life is a test. Whether or not we’re going to accept him or not, that is a test. We are given everything we need to know to accept him in life. And if you still refuse him, you’ve failed the test. I’m sorry to say. As time progresses, the evidence for Jesus Christ just gets stronger and stronger and stronger. And there’s no denying that. And here’s the thing. He’s still calling you. He’s still calling his flock, the lost people, to him. Romans 10.9 says, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

So how about it, guys? Will you be saved? Are you saved? That’s the offer. That’s not religion. This has nothing to do with religion. This has everything to do with Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Okay? You’re not earning your way to heaven. It’s grace. It’s a free gift. It’s paid for by his blood. And he offered it to you. And he’s offering it to you right now, today. So let me ask you one more time. If you don’t believe, why? Seriously, let’s have a real conversation about this. Comment below.

I want to talk about it. Why don’t you believe? Because either the evidence that matters, you just ignore it. Or your heart is just so hardened that you can’t really see the truth. And if that’s you, if your heart is hardened by this world and by everything, by your life, there’s only one fix for that. And that’s God himself. So if you prayed to God and you asked him to soften your heart, to give you a heart of flesh, take away your heart of stone, he will do it. And I’ll be praying he does.

So with that being said, subscribe if you want more content like this, because everything on this channel points to the Lord in one way or another. And my whole goal here is to plant seeds in people that they may one day, those seeds might sprout into something. They might change the way you think slowly over time because I want people to be saved. I want people to accept him and to see him for what he really is. I’m just a regular guy who has done the research just like a lot of other people.

And the research is clear. Jesus is real. There’s no getting around it. And in the next video, we’re going to talk about some of the more specific things, some of the more spiritual arguments, such as when people say, well, Jesus isn’t real. It’s just Jesus and Zeus is the same name. There was no J in ancient Hebrew, so Jesus couldn’t be real. We’re going to talk about all that stuff, okay? Because Jesus and Zeus have nothing to do with each other. In fact, they are enemies. And I believe Zeus is real too. And all of the ancient gods from around the world, those are all real too.

But they, it’s spiritual warfare. Jesus versus them. And this is all in the Bible as well, all right? So make sure you subscribe for that video for the next videos. Because guys, Jesus is real. The evidence proves it. And what are you going to do about it? I want to thank you all for watching this video. And God bless you all. [tr:trw].
