Summary
➡ Some people believe that the recent increase in young people joining the church is due to loneliness or a search for something real. However, others see it as a fulfillment of a prophecy written thousands of years ago, predicting a spiritual awakening among the youth before the return of a king. While it’s unclear if this is a coincidence or a prophecy coming true, the pattern of such events is hard to ignore. This has led to discussions about whether we are witnessing a biblical prophecy in real time.
Transcript
In 2026, the one generation who was supposed to be leaving the church is flooding back into it, okay? Somebody forgot to tell Generation Z that they weren’t supposed to be in church and that they were supposed to leave because by all accounts there is now a massive revival among Gen Z because they’re flooding the churches and converting to Christianity faster than anybody’s ever seen before. Because the way I see it, the fact that Gen Z went from being the most unreligious generation to one of the most religious, well, that’s actually foretold in the Bible and Bible prophecy itself said that this exact thing would happen.
Now, let’s get into it. So here’s why this one’s a little bit personal for me because 10 years ago, I would have been one of the guys that was writing the obituary saying that church is dead, Christianity is dead, people are leaving the faith, it’s an old dead religion and people just are sick of it. They can see through it, they can see Christianity as a control mechanism designed to keep people in check. That’s what I would have said, but my tone has changed significantly now because I don’t believe any of that stuff.
In fact, I believe the opposite and I officially became a Christian in 2016. So when I watched this whole thing unfolding, I get to see it through a different lens. Coming from somebody who didn’t believe and it was anti all things Jesus, I’m starting to see how these same people are going through the same thing that I did because the numbers aren’t really subtle. Gallup poll from I think it was this past April said that 42% of young men call religion very important, up from 28% before. Guys, that’s massive. That’s not just a drift up.
That’s not an anomaly. That’s like a 50% jump in 24 months. And for the first time in 25 years, Gallup has tracked it. Young men are now more religious than young women. Harvard’s election study caught the same exact phenomenon. Guys, this is crazy. Regardless on your thoughts of Catholicism itself, the fact that we have such a large percentage of Gen Z becoming Catholic, I mean, that’s pretty amazing when you think about the fact that they were probably atheists before. So going from atheists to Christ is a win, in my opinion.
Now, some people might be saying, well, Catholic, it doesn’t mean that they’re Christian. A lot of Catholics, you know, they worship the devil. And that’s not what this video is about. We’re not here to throw stones at Catholics. We’re not here to condemn their faith. What we’re here to do is recognize that the Bible told us that this exact thing would happen 2000 years ago. And so this past January, there was this famous Catholic conference that pulled like 26,000 young kids across three different cities. Think about that, people. That’s massive.
It’s clear that Gen Z, the younger generations, they’re not giving up on Christianity. In fact, it’s the opposite. They’re embracing it. So let’s look at the explanation for this. It’s no secret that Gen Z was labeled the loneliest generation in history. And through social media addiction and all these things, it’s no secret that young men are lonelier now than have ever been before. And the church logically is like one of the least lonely places that you can go. It’s one of the last places left in society where you can walk in and a stranger will start talking to you.
A stranger will learn your name. A stranger will become your friend just by you entering the building. So the naysayers are saying, well, these people might be converting to Christianity, not because they believe in it, but because they’re lonely and they’re just seeking for human companionship. But I don’t really buy that explanation, not at all, especially because of the fact that the Bible told us that this exact thing would happen. And then when you take the fact that 52% of Gen Z told researchers that they’re in a full-blown existential crisis, according to the polls, that’s more than double the rate of the boomers.
Harvard says that Gen Z is the most anxious and the most lonely group of people that they’ve ever studied. And so, yeah, I don’t think it’s any coincidence that they’re the ones walking back into the church. Now, you can argue all day the cause of this. What’s making them do this? Is it social media? Why are all these young people converting to Christianity? Why? And, you know, there’s an argument to be had there. Some people, the naysayers will say it’s only because of their loneliness. Like I said, they want to be accepted.
They want to feel like they’re part of a group. And who doesn’t? We all do. But I think there’s something bigger moving here. I think there’s something bigger happening behind the scenes and something that was prophesied to happen in the Bible itself, because that’s where I keep going when I think about this whole thing. I keep going back to this ancient text that describes this exact scenario taking place, not revival in general, right? Because we know in the end times there will be a great falling away. What the text describes is specific, and it’s specific to what’s happening right now.
It’s in the book of Joel. I will pour my spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. Look at the order that’s laid out for us. First, you have the young ones, okay? You have the sons, the young men’s, this exact Gen Z demographic that is doubling their attendance at church. And this isn’t really like a fringe way of reading it either, because 2000 years ago at Pentecost, which was Christianity’s first great awakening, Peter stood up in front of a crowd of stunned young people and quoted that passage word for word, except he changed one word.
Joel wrote afterward, Peter wrote in the last days. And honestly, guys, that’s just the beginning of it, because in the text, the outpouring of the young isn’t the end of the story. It’s the opening of it. Read three verses on, well, it’s clear that this is an end times prophecy that talks about wonders in the heavens to the sun going dark. Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. The day of the Lord, guys, that’s the end times. That’s the return of Christ. So Bible prophecy says that in the last days, before Christ comes back, there will be a revival.
There will be a revival of young men. There will be a revival of young men who are prophesying and having dreams, okay? And guys, we all know that there will be also a great falling away. So it seems like there’s going to be this big increase of young men becoming Christians, and then all of a sudden the great falling away happens. So what is the great falling away? I believe the great falling away is UFO disclosure. They’re going to present UFOs to the masses as our saviors, or as the ones who created us. Not UFOs as far as the craft go, but what I mean is the entities who fly them, entities who are inside of them.
So I believe that’s the great falling away. And what we’re seeing now is this pre-revival before that actually happens. So while this whole narrative is that pews are going empty and that Christianity is dying and that young people are fleeing Christianity in droves, we know that that’s a lie. We know that’s a lie because, well, one, the Bible told us that that’s a lie, that that’s not going to happen. And for two, well, we see it in real time happening right now. Gen Z is now accepting Christ and becoming grafted into the body of Christ.
And this is seen all over the country and probably all over the world. And real quick, if you’ve seen this, if you’ve seen any young people that you know, or if you yourself are young and you’ve recently come to the Lord, put in the comments. I’d love to read it. I’d love to read your story, your personal story of either you as a young person coming to the Lord or you as somebody who knows a young person who came to the Lord. Please put in the comments, because these are blessings. These stories, these testimonies are blessings to people, especially when they’re in the comments, because if you see somebody’s personal story in the comments, you know it’s probably not fake.
So where does this whole thing leave us though? Because if you’re a skeptic, you’re going to say, well, it’s loneliness. They’re becoming Christians. They’re joining the church because they’re lonely and they just want companionship. But if that’s the case, how would this be written down thousands of years ago saying that in the last days before the return of the King, there will be a great awakening among the young people? How does that make sense? It’s happening. It was written down that it would happen, yet all of a sudden you want to try and say that it’s only happening because they’re lonely.
And then other skeptics might say it’s because of politics. It’s because of burnout. It’s because this generation was raised inside of a screen and finally they’re looking for something that’s more real, more tangible than what’s inside of a screen. And guys, yeah, these are all valid points and I think it all has a role to play in it. And look, I’m not going to tell you what to think of this or what it means. I’m not going to tell you what to believe because I genuinely don’t know if we’re watching an end times prophecy be fulfilled or if it’s a coincidence.
I definitely lead towards the side of prophecy being fulfilled, but I’m the first to tell you that I really don’t know. When I see things happening like this, I don’t think they’re coincidences right off the bat because there’s too many coincidences that are happening in a row. And when I see so many coincidences happening in a row, I don’t see it as a coincidence anymore. I see it as a pattern and you probably do too, right? So we have this strange occurrence happening right now where the one generation who was supposed to be the most secular generation in the history of the world is doing the one thing that nobody predicted.
And it turned out that, yeah, while nobody predicted this, the Bible did predict it. And the Bible is always right, in my opinion. So yeah, guys, I want to know what you think. Is this whole Gen Z revival? Is it legit? Do you think that this is actually end times prophecy being played out in real time? Or do you think that it’s just coincidence, it’s overreaction, it’s not accurate? And here’s the thing, guys, because when you take this specific thing and you combine it with all the other end times prophecy things that are happening, it seems to be a little bit more clear that it’s not an isolated event.
And look, guys, like I said, I’m not saying Jesus is coming back anytime soon. What I’m saying is it’s totally possible. And when you look at all these things coalescing into this one singular timeline that we’re in now, it seems entirely possible that the Bible prophecy isn’t just accurate, it’s fact. But like I said, I want to know what you think about this, put it in the comments, and we’ll see you guys next time. Thank you for watching this short video. God bless you all. [tr:trw].
