What does all this mean? What does the literal crucifixion mean for all of us today? I just released a video on Easter. You probably saw it if you haven’t seen it. I hope you do. But this is an important story that many people gloss over, and they just teach it from a historical point of view, which is incredibly important. Because we wouldn’t know the spirit without the literal story to tell us what it all means. There’s a lot of symbolism to it. Jesus only spoke in parable in the scriptures. In fact, the disciples were so used to it that when he spoke face to face, they were kind of blown away.
And the reason was because people couldn’t understand it. They couldn’t handle it. They couldn’t understand what Jesus was saying. What the truth of God really was, and how we and Christ were actually one. You see, Jesus represents the Word of God manifested in man. God was in Jesus reconciling the world unto himself. And after Christ’s crucifixion, now Christ is in us. That day you will know that I’m in the Father, the Father is in me, and we are in you, reconciling the world unto God through us as well. It’s our story too. And that’s why when I read John chapter 18, 19, going into 20, you’re going to start to see it in a different light.
I figured I’d give you a little bit of a Bible lesson. You’re going to notice the shift here in the channel, some things that are changing. I actually stepped back on X for a little while, taking a little breather there, seeing what God wants for me. And I find it interesting that here we are, on a day when the truth of God kind of goes silent. He says, walk while you have the light, and then one day it’s taken away from you. Then you’re freaking out, you don’t know where to find it. And then what happens? Christ appears.
Watch my video on the resurrection. But I want to read this to you. I want to open your eyes to a different understanding, a deeper meaning of what all this is. Because it’s symbolic of how even the religious leaders today, they’re going to hand over the truth of God to the system, the system that’s in charge. Say Pilate is a picture we can use like Elon Musk today. He came in with the hand basin. He is the imperative now of social media. He’s the imperative of the world, much like Pilate was an imperative at the time.
So you could see the religious leaders if the truth of God was being revealed, and someone spoke with authority as Christ spoke today, which is supposed to happen. It’s called the manifestation of the sons of God. You could see how they would hand over that person to the powers that be and say, shut this guy up, shut this gal up. The story, there’s nothing new under the sun. So let me read this to you because you’re going to find out that this is a picture also of Christ in us, if you will. The Jewish leaders took Jesus to Caiaphas, to the palace of the Roman governor.
By now it was early morning. Okay, that’s important to understand because in early morning, it’s not fully bright yet. It’s just starting. You’re starting to like a little foggy. There’s an important message here, even in just that. And to avoid ceremonial uncleanness, they did not enter the palace because they wanted to be able to eat the Passover. So Pilate came out to them and he asked, what charges are you bringing against this man? If he were not a criminal, they replied, we would not have handed him over to you. Pilate then says, take him yourself, judge him by your law.
And they said, well, we have no right to execute someone. You see, according to their law, what they’re going to go on to say is that he blasphemed by comparing himself, by calling himself the son of God, that that was blasphemy. And according to their law, I should say their interpretation of the law. I want to point that out. They had the right to stone someone to death. But now these heathens, these crazy people, right? These horrible monsters that would kill somebody for understanding that they’re the child of God, which is like right there in all the texts.
I mean, the story of Jesus was all through scripture. He said, you read them and they testify. I mean, but you don’t know, you don’t know the truth. Rome was in charge, so they couldn’t just willy nilly put people to death, especially someone like Jesus. So they had the power to execute them. But now that they were, you know, under the charge of Rome, they’d be in trouble if they did such a thing. Rome was really in charge, but Pilate understood the he understood the politics of all this. It’s like you got to keep got to keep that that area very happy.
You can’t like, you know, you can’t have rebellion or Caesar will have his head. And then here’s the weird thing is that just before all this happens, Pilate’s wife had a dream of Jesus and like warned Pilate said, look, you better not do this to this guy. This is there’s something common. Pout didn’t listen. He didn’t listen, much like I’m sure a lot of billionaire, trillionaires out there today that really believe that they’re making and shaping and reshaping and that they’re in charge of everything. They think that they that there is no God, because maybe they’ve been around a long time.
Who knows? Maybe they’re immortal, like the archons that we’ve read about in some of the scriptures, the fallen ones, right? But maybe they don’t really believe in God, much like Pilate. He’s like, what is truth? That’s what he ends up saying. So Pilate asked, brings him in and he says, are you the king of the Jews? And Jesus says, are you asking? Do you want to know? Do you really want to know what others talk to you about me? Now, this is pretty interesting because you know what? In scripture, it says that the Jews, they rejected the Messiah.
And so it was given over into the hands of the Gentiles. So there’s a spiritual story here, too. In the literal, they didn’t want Christ as the Messiah. They believed that the Messiah was going to be someone who was going to murder a bunch of people, someone was going to come in and like establish a new rule, right? It’s going to come down. The blood would be up to the reins of the horse’s necks. That’s what people still believe. They’re still waiting for Jesus to come again and murder a lot of people that don’t believe the way their specific religion or church teaches them to believe.
And this is what they think is coming. They say that’s the way Jesus is going. He didn’t come that first time. That way, he came as a humble servant, right? Who laid down his life for others. That’s the greatest of all. So Jesus asked him, he says, what am I? Am I a Jew? Pilate replies, he says, your own people and the chief’s priests handed you over to me. So what have you done? And Jesus said, listen to this. He goes, my kingdom is not of this world. Jesus said, look, my kingdom is not of this world.
If it was my servants, my army would fight to prevent me from being arrested by the Jewish leaders and handed over to you. But he goes, but that’s, this isn’t my world. See, not a lot of people don’t understand that. They think that Jesus is saying that in his world, they murder and kill in the dance. No, he’s saying that’s not my world. He said, if this world was my world, that’s what would happen. I could have easily riled up the troops and kept people. Peter, when he took the ear off of Malchus, I believe was his name.
He stopped him and he said, those that live by the sword die by the sword. And then he healed the Roman soldier’s ear. He healed them. And it’s all, it’s all very symbolic too, because of course you can, you can use, you know, the things of God to destroy the sword. It kills and it gives life. It cuts both ways. Jesus could have riled up the people, but he wasn’t from this world. He was sent into this world, much like the spirit of God is sent into this world, to deliver those who are captive here and set them free.
He says, my kingdom’s another, from another place. And what is the kingdom of heaven? It’s righteousness, peace and joy and power in the Holy Ghost. It’s about faith. It’s about saying things and knowing that they’ll have, it’s about reaping what you saw. He proves that he is not from this world when he says very clearly, look, I’m, you know, whatever you want. I’m here to, I’m here to lay down my life because he knew that he could do nothing of himself. Ultimately, that God was in charge of all things. But this is also a picture of the spirit of God.
Now, once, once he died, he says, I’m going to be with all of you. So he was literally placed, he was rejected and now, and, and is within all of us. Now, this is where it gets interesting. And Jesus said, look, you say that I’m a king. The reason I was born now, he’s explaining, he says, you’re saying I’m a king, but I’m not here to rule. He said, the reason I came into this world is to testify of the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me, understands me. It’s like, if you know the truth of God, you’re going to be able to hear the things that I’m saying.
When I say that when crisis put the death at Golgotha, it’s a picture of the spirit of the living God literally being put to death within you taking upon your sins and dying for the idea of you so that once again, Christ can then be risen from that death and the two of us reconciling the world onto himself and the two can become one. So Pilate’s like, oh, really? Yeah. Well, what is truth? It’s like, what is truth? And it’s not even like, what is truth? He’s like, it didn’t matter to him. He’s like, you know, truth is, it could be whatever it is.
You know, what is truth in a grand scheme? He couldn’t even comprehend the idea of truth. That’s how sold out this whole system is. So what does he do? He goes outside, he brings him out again, and he says, I don’t find any reason to charge this man. There’s nothing wrong with him. It’s like, look, you have a custom that on the Passover, that you’re supposed to be released to prisoner. Let me give you a prison. I’ll give you a prisoner. So he brings out two people. He brings out Jesus Christ and Jesus Barabbas. Barabbas, even the name itself, Barabbas, son of the father, son of the man, son of the earthly father, even the name Barabbas says something.
But identical names, Jesus, Jesus, right? Yahshua, Yahshua. But which one? You’re given two. You’re given choices. So the pilots of the world, right? They give you two choices. Who do you want? You want the Jesus’ king that kills and does all these things and is going to fight for making the country great again, as you would see today in any country right now. Or you’re going to have to Prince of Peace, who was beaten. He flogged them 40 times. 40. It was like one less time because you couldn’t flog somebody more than 40 times. It’s like a law.
But if you think about it, 40 days, 40 nights, 40 years in the wilderness, 40 is a symbol of birth. It’s of pregnancy. It’s of suffering. It’s of growth. And at the end of 40 weeks, right? At the end of 40 stripes, what happens? Crucified. Crucified. So Pilate hasn’t flogged. Now, this is where it’s weird. The soldiers, they twisted crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed them in purple robe and they went to him again saying, hail the king of the Jews. And they slapped them in his face. It’s funny because if you go into any religious church, maybe a Catholic church or a Protestant, whatever, they’re going to have at the front of the church, like basically a naked Jesus, you know, beaten, whipped with a crown of thorns.
They’re going to be like, behold, hail your king. It’s the same thing to reduce God to that. But really, the symbolism of it all is that he took upon himself the sins of the world and died to be risen again, incorruptible. That man that laid his life down on the cross for us is a picture of Christ loving us so much to come into this world of death and to go along with us much like Adam did with Eve. Eve ate of the fruit first. It’s not about women being bad. It’s a picture. Eve is a symbol of man’s intellect or their identity.
We are the bride of Christ. So it’s like our soul, our intellect, our idea of who we are is the bride of Christ. Christ is the spirit of the living God, the word of God. Man was first formed in the dust of the earth and then God breathes that life into him. Christ, after the resurrection, breathed that life into him. It’s the same thing. In the beginning was the word. The same was in the beginning with God. It’s like this is the story and it’s our story. Now what are the thorns? Jesus told the story of the thorns.
We understand that. Like symbolically what they’re doing is they’re literally placing upon Jesus the sins of the world. How do we know this? Because he used the parable of the sower. The sower goes out into the field and he sows seeds. Some of it falls among thorns. And then the disciples are like, what are the thorns? He’s like, it’s the cares of the world, the deceitfulness of riches and the worry about whatever social media stream you’re on. That last part I added on, but you understand these are the cares of the world that strangle the truth of God from being birthed in you.
It’s hard to accept God and to know that you’re going to reap what you sow. It’s hard when your bills are stacked and your debt is piling and your health is a mess. It’s hard for you to be like, okay, yeah, I’m going to come out to you, Lord. It’s more like, you know, the cares of the world, the deceitfulness of riches, your bank account keeps you from doing the right thing. So what do you do? Maybe you steal some extra toilet paper at work or you talk bad about a coworker so you can get ahead.
You take shortcuts so you do the wrong thing or you steal or you lie or you cheat because you think, you know, that the world is so unfair. But these thorns that are pushed deep into Christ, he took upon them. He took upon himself the sins of the world and then died. The Jewish leaders bring them to Pilate because they want him to shut up. They want him to be quiet because he exposed them. He showed them how corrupt they were. He showed them how corrupt their ways were. And he was really telling the things of God.
Remember, the God of this world doesn’t like the real things of God because the God of this world is sort of like man’s cocky, arrogant ego. It’s another word for the Antichrist, which is opposed to the things of God. Now, ironically enough, Jesus is put between two thieves. And what is a thief? Well, Barabbas was called a murderer and a thief. That’s what they wanted. Who is a thief? A thief, according to Scripture, is someone who tries to get into the kingdom of heaven any other way but by, through, and with the Son. Meaning that you can only go to heaven, not by your works, not by your deeds, not by what you believe, not by how many chairs you put out to service, or how many times you helped out a local representative get elected at your local government, or whatever it’s bored that you’re trying to establish.
None of that stuff matters in the grand scheme of things. The only thing that matters is God, is serving God, is asking for the truth no matter what the cost. That’s what matters. Christ’s crucifixion. He took upon our sins and died. Who do you want? Do you want the Prince of Peace or do you want a champion who’s going to come down and take vengeance on all the people that treated you wrong? Think about it. If Pilate was offering you the Prince of Peace and the Prince of this world, which one do you want? Jesus of Barabbas or Jesus Christ? Put the death between two thieves who are the thieves on the cross.
One is taken, one is left. It’s a picture of the sheep and the goats. Two sets of people. Christ right in the midst, available to both. But there’s only one that says, you know what? I’ve been evil. And then what happens? You don’t got to wait till the last day. This day you’re going to be with me in paradise. This day, laying down your life, the word deny is scripture, the way scripture puts it. You don’t deprive yourself. You didn’t deprive himself. He who denies himself, the idea of you. Deny that you are the ultimate God in this world.
Deny that. Put yourself in submission to God. Be like John. One that’s coming after me is greater than me. You know, baptize, baptize, you know, be baptized in Christ. Be like John. Understand that I must die so he must live. I must decrease so Christ must increase. This is what Good Friday is all about. This is what the crucifixion is all about. It’s not about just the literal story. There’s more to what’s going on. What is truth? Think about it. All of this story that’s played out. It’s played out right inside all of us. And I hope that it encouraged you and I hope that inspires you to look more.
