Multiple Bible prophecies in the book of Daniel, Matthew, and Revelation paint this picture of the Antichrist’s takeover of Israel, Jerusalem, and the people who live there. In this video, we’ll look at these of Israel moving in the direction for how some of them will be deceived by the Antichrist. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering, and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.

This well-known prophecy about the Antichrist gives us some insight into where he will be ruling, or at least where he’ll have a high level of control. The fact that he’s ending sacrifice and offering tells us that he will be in Jerusalem where sacrifices and offerings will be made. With the recent peace deals by Donald Trump and Jared Kushner in the Middle East, people are wondering if this is the Daniel 927 peace treaty covenant. Well, it’s not, but seeing people cry out for peace and safety, especially in Israel and that part of the Middle East, showing that the conflict is in that region, just like prophecy says, is a foreshadowing of this prophetic treaty that will be coming in the future.

One week after a ceasefire was agreed, Gaza is plagued by a different kind of violence. Instead of fighting Israel, Palestinians are fighting Palestinians. Hamas is reasserting control, taking on its rivals and settling scores. But President Trump’s 20-point peace deal calls for the complete demilitarization of Gaza. And he’s demanding Hamas gives up all its weapons before it’s forced to. We have told them we want disarm, and they will disarm. And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them. And it’ll happen quickly and perhaps violently. And when that true momentary peace is brought to the region through that covenant, that is one way that many people in Israel will be deceived by the Antichrist.

A prophecy in Daniel chapter 11 gives us further hints that the Antichrist could have some sort of connection to Israel. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any God, for he shall exalt himself above them all. In the Old Testament, that language of saying the God of your fathers is most commonly used referencing God who the Jewish people were following. This could be referencing a different religious denomination, but it is interesting and worth remembering when looking at the characteristics of the Antichrist. What’s mentioned there at the end of Daniel 1137 is echoed in Daniel 927 and reaffirmed in the New Testament prophecy in 2 Thessalonians 2.4, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, for that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

This description of the Antichrist and his connection to the Third Temple, Jerusalem, Israel, and the Jewish people is so important that even though it’s documented in three other prophecies, Jesus highlighted it to his disciples again, and it’s recorded in the three synoptic gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Here’s the prophecy in the book of Matthew. Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, whoever reads let him understand, then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. This warning from Jesus to Judea is just more evidence that the Antichrist does have a specific mission to attack and deceive Israel.

We see even more evidence of this in the prophecies of the two witnesses and the beast or Antichrist of Revelation who attacks them. But first we need to look at how in Daniel 12, written in 530 BC, which speaks of prophecies of great tribulation coming upon the earth. At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time, and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.

This time of trouble is Jacob’s trouble, and this is the great tribulation which brings us to the two witnesses. The two witnesses prophesy for 1260 days or three and a half years. They’re clothed in sackcloth and they have incredible powers and abilities given to them by God to shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, to turn waters into blood, strike the earth with plagues, and even devour their enemies by fire from their mouths. And this next prophecy and revelation about the two witnesses really show the Antichrist attempt to deceive and lead astray Israel.

When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. This great city mentioned in this passage where the Lord Jesus was crucified is Golgotha, which is in Jerusalem, so this great city mentioned in this passage is Jerusalem. Revelation 11 goes on to say that the inhabitants of the earth will be celebrating that the two witnesses have died, but then God raises them back to life and they ascend into heaven.

Then a great earthquake hits Jerusalem, and some people repent and turn to God through this experience. In the same hour, there was a great earthquake and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake, 7,000 people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven. Some of the main ways that the Antichrist will deceive is through his forceful speech and declaring that he is God. Similar to the abomination of desolation prophecies, these next prophecies in Daniel and Revelation give us further insight into the Antichrist’s deceptive and manipulative blasphemies.

Then the king shall do according to his own will. He shall exalt and magnify himself above every God. He shall speak blasphemies against the God of Gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished, for what has been determined shall be done. And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for 42 months. These blasphemies, signs and wonders and powers that the Antichrist will have will deceive many people in Israel and around the world, and actually these next two things that we’re seeing take place in Israel right now are already preparing the way for him.

First is the Jewish people’s blindness to seeing that Jesus is the Messiah, and then looking for a Messiah somewhere else. Jesus himself warned that this would happen. I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, him you will receive. What the Jewish people are saying they’re looking for in a Messiah to come on the world scene to take over, build the temple, bring all the religions there, they’ll rise from the dead, all of these things are what the Bible warns the Antichrist will do.

What do you know about the Messiah? I know that it’s a hope for the Jewish people, for someone to save them, and for someone to rise up from the dead, to rebuild the third temple, and to make the world better according to the Jewish people. The second sign in Israel that we’re seeing is the preparations for the third temple, where the abomination of desolation and cutting off of the sacrifices by the Antichrist will take place. We’ve been seeing this movement grow more and more year by year.

The Levites are practicing singing, temple ceremonies are taking place all around Israel, we have organizations like the Temple Institute and Build the Temple, doing all that they can to create the artifacts and get everything ready in preparation for this third temple to be built. And of course with the red heifers and even the ceremony that took place recently that some are saying was the legitimate ceremony, the world is definitely moving in the direction for these things to take place and the third temple plays a huge role in that. Jesus said to watch for the signs of the times like the fig tree blooming and it appears to me like we’re seeing more and more of these signs.

All of this is unfolding in a way so that many gentiles will accept Jesus. And then when the Antichrist attacks on Israel and the world happen, some of the Jewish people will see that Jesus is the Messiah and will come around to know this truth, which should be our prayer for every lost soul who doesn’t know Jesus. We see this mentioned all throughout scripture of a remnant coming to the Lord during these times. Alas for that day is great so that none is like it and it is the time of Jacob’s trouble but he shall be saved out of it.

Desolations will come but through it some will see the truth and call on the Lord for the Messiah he truly is. See your house is left to you desolate for I say to you you shall see me no more till you say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hopefully through the clear signs of the Bible playing out before our eyes people will stay strong and look to Jesus and accept him as Lord. And it shall come to pass in all the land says the Lord that two thirds in it shall be cut off and die but one third shall be left in it.
