The NBA Scandal Exposed Sports Bettings Rigging problem

While sports betting has been on the rise since 2018 when the federal courts reversed a ban that was placed on online betting in the 90s, what really made it reach unstoppable levels was the mass marketing dollars being dumped on promotion. Something you’ve probably seen with the endless amount of online sports betting ads.

You can’t go anywhere without seeing ads for online gambling. Turn on the TV and you will likely see an ad promoting one of the many online sports betting sites. You go on social media and not only are online influencers promoting it, but you also see countless paid for ads. Same thing with YouTube. You try to watch your favorite YouTuber click on the video and then get an ad for sports betting. Or even worse, the content creator themselves does an in-video promotional segment pushing online gambling. Many people nowadays see this as a great new exciting way to watch sports.

Now, not only can they see their favorite team play, but they can be in on the action and win when they win. It provides a thrill that you normally wouldn’t get from just watching the game, while obviously there’s the dangers of addiction that comes with any form of gambling. Besides that, sports betting is largely championed by sports fans. It is seen as a safe and secure way to bet on your favorite team. But what happens when it’s revealed that some of the players playing in these games got exposed for rigging games? As you might have already heard by now, several NBA players have been arrested in connection with a massive NBA online gambling scandal.

These players are being exposed by the feds for working with literal members of the Italian mob. It’s being alleged that the players purposely threw games to rig the outcomes so that people associated with them could place winning bets on online gambling sites. Now, people are seeing the true dangers of online sports betting, as if these players get caught rigging games. There’s likely many others doing the same thing, which is forcing people to come to the realization that sports betting and even pro sports cannot truly be trusted. Hey you guys, I hope all is well.

Welcome back to The Truth Is, where I drop new videos exposing to Truth Weekly. In today’s episode, we will be talking about the NBA online sports betting scandal. For years, people have argued over the possibility of pro sports being somehow script and rigged, with diehard sports fans defending pro sports and standing by their authenticity, while other skeptical people are constantly pointing out inconsistencies that might suggest it’s all scripted.

Whether you believe it or don’t believe it, which you can let me know in the comments, honestly it doesn’t matter anymore. Finally, we got the proof that at least some games in the NBA have been rigged, and in a way scripted. It turns out that some of those times you lost your parlay, and you felt it was rigged, you were possibly right. As the truth is finally being revealed, as the biggest sports scandal in recent history is unfolding. On October 23rd, the FBI director, Cash Patel, the same Fed who can’t find Epstein’s accomplices, even though he works for them, revealed that the Feds had arrested several people connected to the NBA, and literal members of the New York Mafia crime families.

This FBI investigation lets a federal charges against more than 30 people, including NBA coach and former player Chauncey Billups, current NBA player Terry Roseire, and another former NBA player Damon Jones. They were all allegedly involved in two separate, but related, illegal gambling schemes. The two operations dubbed Operation Nothing But Bet and Operation Royal Flush, involves a sports betting conspiracy and a rigged poker ring with ties to the Mafia. According to the FBI, a group of six defendants allegedly conspired to use and sell inside information, such as player injury status and availability, to illegally profit off NBA game prop bets.

They alleged that Terry and John Tae are accused of actively manipulating their own corporate performances to ensure under prop bets would be successful. Damon Jones was accused of allegedly selling non-public information on player availability, including LeBron James’ injury status during a February 2023 game, while Chauncey Billups is alleged to have tipped off co-conspirators that the Trailblazers will be tanking at the end of the 2022 and 2023 season. On top of this, more than 30 people, including Billups and Jones, were charged in a multi-year scheme to rig illegal high-stakes poker games.

They were alleging that Chauncey Billups recruited players for an underground poker game that was rigged by the Mafia. The scheme allegedly used sophisticated technology to cheat unsuspecting players out of millions of dollars. This included rigged shuffling machines, poker chip trays with hidden cameras, contact lenses that could read more cards, and x-ray technology in tables. The operation was allegedly tied to New York Mafia families who allegedly enforced gambling debts through violence and extortion. Cash Patel recently announced these arrests during this press conference, where he raged on about keeping the entertainment industry authentic, unlike he did when it came to his promise of releasing all the Epstein information the feds had.

And Lacasa Nostra. But as you now know, individuals such as Chauncey Billups, Damon Jones, and Terry Rozier were taken into custody today, former current NBA players and coaches. What you don’t know is that this is an illegal gambling operation and sports-rigging operation that spanned the course of years. The FBI led a coordinated takedown across 11 states to arrest over 30 individuals today responsible for this case, which is very much ongoing. Not only did we crack into the fraud that these perpetrators committed on the grand stage of the NBA, but we also entered and executed a system of justice against Lacasa Nostra to include the Bonanno, Gambino, Genovese, and Lucchese crime families.

And you’ll hear more about those details today. The charges and the arrests that were taken down across this country range from wire fraud, money laundering, extortion, robbery, illegal gambling. This FBI will leave no room for any perpetrator of crime across this country. You hear a lot about our work of defending the homeland and crushing violent crime. Well, this work is also representative of a colossal portion of the FBI’s mandate to keep America safe and to keep our entertainment industry fair and secure. The men and women that are standing up here today worked tireless hours, days, months, and years.

And the fraud is mind-boggling. It’s not hundreds of dollars. It’s not thousands of dollars. It’s not tens of thousands of dollars. It’s not even millions of dollars. We’re talking about tens of millions of dollars in fraud and theft and robbery. Players to score less, rebound less, assist less, using information that was not yet public. In some instances, players altered their performance or took themselves out of games to make sure that those bets paid out. One example occurred on March 23rd, 2023 in Charlotte. Terry Rogier, an NBA player now with the Miami Heat, but at the time playing for the Hornets allegedly let others close to him know that he planned to leave the game early with a supposed injury.

Using that information, members of the group placed more than $200,000 in wagers on his under statistics. Rogier exited the game after just nine minutes, and those bets paid out generating tens of thousands of dollars in profit. The proceeds were later delivered to his home where the group As you saw for yourself, these players and coaches were indeed rigging games. You no longer have to wonder if these pro sports were rigged or not. While we can’t prove every single game is rigged, we can now prove that some players in recent times have been rigging NBA games so they can profit from illegal gambling.

Think about how many people were scammed out of their hard earned money. How many people lost their money because they rigged the outcome? The FBI claims it was an intensive millions of dollars loss. They are also saying the sports betting sites are the true victims. But it’s really the gamblers who were swindled out of their money. Now honestly ask yourself, are these the only people doing this in a league? Is it only the NBA? Or could it be the MLB or the NFL too? I myself am one of the people who believe everything on TV is scripted, including pro sports.

I also find it hard to believe that they were the only players in the NBA participating in this type of scheme. In my opinion, there’s likely way more players doing the same very thing. This is one of the core problems with online sports betting. It makes it extremely easy for players to profit just by literally tampering with a game. All they gotta do is have one person far removed from them place bets on a game that they’re gonna throw so they can win. It’s crazy that some people are this money hungry and greedy that even after making hundreds of millions of dollars, they would still risk it all to make more.

I myself have never placed an online bet on any sport. I don’t even watch sports. While I would advise people not to gamble this being an obvious reason, I understand that some people enjoy it. I completely understand that it gives things more purpose, makes it more exciting and engaging. But people have to remember that gambling is a dangerous slippery slope, especially when it’s as accessible as online sports betting. While you might think you’re just having fun out of nowhere, you can develop a full blown life destroying addiction. Online gambling allows you to bet right from your phone in a few taps, not even truly understanding the severity of what you’re doing.

Gambling your hard earned money away that you traded your priceless time for. Time that you will never get back. You might win sometimes, but most of the times you lose your money, then you end up trapped in the cycle of chasing the next win. Next thing you know, you can’t pass one day without placing a bet until you’re betting your last dollar and lose everything. While it might not happen to everyone who gambles, it sadly happens to many of them who do. That’s the demon that comes attached to gambling. Now I honestly believe that online gambling, especially sports betting, is just another tool used by the elite to keep the masses poor and under their control.

We already know that pro sports, not playing sports, but pro sports, are used as distractions for the masses, keeping the people entertained and invested in something that, at the end of the day, doesn’t truly matter all that much, while the elite are allowed to do whatever corrupt things they want. I mean no disrespect to sports fans, but realistically it’s just a game. But those behind these sports leagues though, are the same elite who own everything else and are using this to distract you. Sports betting was legalized and then heavily pushed non-stop for this very reason, to ensure that more people are betting away the little money they have, while becoming more and more invested in a game they used to distract them. They keep the masses distracted and at the same time empty their wallets. This is why there’s non-stop gambling ads wherever you turn. They are promoting this and pushing this into your mind, forcing it into your subconscious. Some people might not even be into betting but they see 50 commercials of it and see the biggest influencers promoting it and then they want to try it.

This is the purpose behind it. It’s all manipulation and it’s all a method of control. Now we know that while the odds are already stacked against those who bet, now we know it’s also completely rigged by players who are throwing games to make money illegally gambling. Think about how insane that is. NBA players have been throwing games and trading insider information to make more money costing their fans millions of dollars. The very same fans who already spend billions supporting their favorite teams. This world is truly disgusting. But you know what else is truly disgusting? That Cash Patel was able to catch these pro sports scammers but can’t catch Epstein’s disgusting accomplices that he’s around all day.

He managed to uncover an entire NBA rigged scandal but can’t release the list of monsters who destroy the lives of so many young kids. Crazy how the world works right? It almost seems like this is another distraction now doesn’t it? Obviously it is. But I still think it’s important that people know the corrupt techniques used by the elite to keep you from breaking free of their control. Online gambling is just another way to keep you broke, manipulated and lost. Well I’m gonna end this one here.
