Be very cautious of the water that you go in. We talked about this last time. It could have all kinds of contaminants. It could be electrified. So be very careful when out there looking for people or trying to help people in this type of situation. There’s no doubt going to be a lot of people out there that need it. And rescue crews can only do so much. So in these situations, whatever help can be put out there is appreciated. I’m sure that people are going to be spending a lot of time trying to build back and get everything back in order after this one.
But it’s not the first time we’ve seen this. We’ve seen Houston get hit hard in the past and flooded out big time. They actually cloud seated before that event. I’m still waiting to see if we see anything like that connected with this storm, but it’s moving inland. It has wrecked the oil fields out there off the coast and it’s dumping a ton of rain. So anyone that’s in the path of this, expect copious amounts of rain to fall from the storm once it hits your area. I will continue to update with more information as I come across it, but this is the latest out of Texas.
