This here is out of Pike County. You can just see the inundated water everywhere. It’s just washing away everything. Anything that it comes in contact with, it’s taken with it downstream. We send out prayers for everyone that needs them. This is no joke. This is what a lot of the waterways around here look like right now. Super dangerous. This is causing a situation much like this one right here, where roadways are completely blocked. People are stranded and people are being asked if they can hear any kind of emergency communications. They’re being asked to get to higher ground if possible.

Some people stranded on these back roads in their homes and did not see this coming at all. There was like no warning. You can see the downtown Jackson businesses are all inundated with water. Everything flooded. This is reminiscent of just a couple years ago when the floods came through and devastated this area. It has happened again. There are people out there needing help and rescued in many parts of Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee. All those areas getting hit by this storm, some worse than others. I ask that if you guys can help in any way, please do.

These people will need your help. We’re still reeling from the last disaster that hit down here where people were swept away and never found. It’s coming through a gate. Cars are high. Coming through the ridge. I feel like I’m going to burn my feet right now. These people take them by surprise as well, like many. Couldn’t get sandbags up in the water everywhere.
