And when describing early humanity, rudolph Steiner calls them the spirits of Venus. He also identifies these seven angels of Venus as eventually insoling as the seven Rishis that were at the cradle of the great Indian civilization.
They are the seven great Solar Spirits, or the seven Christs, who manifest as our sun or who appear in our realm as the sun. Their essence intertwined with the very rays of our sun. All of these different names are describing the same formative beings and their position in different phases of our evolution and their representation in the cosmos. There are different titles for them depending on the context and the period.
In the Eastern traditions, these seven solar beings from Venus are called the Dayani Buddhas, the seven Rishis, the seven Holy Kumaras, the Agnishivatas, the Manasaputras or Sons of mind, the Prayapatis or the Melbas or Fire Gods. The dayani Buddhas Kumaras or Rishis manifest on earth directly from heaven. For this reason they are called the Mind born sons. The sons of Brahma or the Virgin born. These statements about being of direct divine origin indicate that these individuals'essence originates from outside the earthly life wave.
They are beyond the karma of repeated incarnations. They are exalted because their soul has appeared on Earth not through necessity, not through Karmic obligation, but through their own free will. As mind born sons, they do not need to take bodies on Earth. Instead, they incarnate on Earth to serve God and humanity. They have chosen to take on certain collective burdens. The Earth and humanity carry and they sacrifice something of themselves to contribute to the evolution of the Earth.
When we really get into who the angels of Venus are and their contribution, we are really looking at a kind of soul or a particular stage of human initiation in the cosmos. We are not looking at aliens. We are looking at souls within our own developmental system that are exalted. And this level of exaltation is something that we all have the potential to achieve within ourselves. So it's important that we understand when we look at a being that is associated with another sphere, that it is a being from within the spiritual hierarchy.
And the spiritual hierarchy essentially represents various different initiatory periods for humanity. And it's humanity's duty to understand this so we can understand our own process of spiritual evolution and how that process is symbolized in the cosmos, in the sky, in the planets and the stars. In the new age. And Theosophy. The angels from Venus have been called the Lords of the Flame, the Lords of Venus, the children of the fire mist, the Manus, the seven Christs, the solar tea trees, the seven Cohans, the fire angels or the solar angels or the masters of the seven rays.
Or the Cohans of the seven rays. And that just means that each individuality embodies a distinct ray of the sun. That is the original teaching or primary teaching of the spiritual masters. In the Eastern Mysteries, the organ of mind or self awareness is called manas. It has also been called the spark of mind or the divine spark by some authors and some esotericists also consider the reception of the mental organs as the moment where humanity finally gets the first indwelling of their individual soul essence.
Various First Nations tribes also spoke of great fathers that would appear at certain times to guide humanity. These fathers played a pivotal role in their development and often came bearing gifts. They were often associated with the heavens, the cosmos or the higher planes. The cosmos in early spirituality really just represented the higher planes. In Esoteric Christianity, jesus takes on the highest of these seven solar spirits for his sacrifice.
And through his sacrifice, the essence of the Christ was united with the Earth and humanity. In the Bible, Jesus is associated with the morning star or Venus, venus being the translator or transducer of solar forces for the Earth. In occult science, each period of human evolution is guided by a Christ being or one of the seven solar spirits or one of the Elohim. And the Christ being that defines an epoch is called the manu.
The manu who channels the solar Christ gives humanity the etheric template for their next phase of planetary development. In this way, the human form of the Earth is always directly evolved and adapted in the etheric plane by the manu or by the Christ. An individual who is on the path to become like them is called a bodhisattva in the Eastern tradition and all true mystery schools aim to raise humanity to know this force and this truth within themselves in regards to the development of the solar system and spiritual hierarchy.
These beings, the angels of Venus, had reached the human stage of development in an earlier period of our solar system before the Earth came to be as we know it. So they're not aliens. They are human beings that are directly associated with our Earth, that had reached an exalted level of development in an earlier period. How these beings interacted with humanity was on the spiritual planes. And then once humanity became self aware, they began directly incarnating into human bodies.
At this point in time, these souls walk amongst us. So there was never a point in human history where human beings truly gained a genuine faculty or organ through aliens coming to the planet, through flesh and blood aliens coming to the Earth. All evolutions of the human form were through the sacrifice or outpouring of higher beings. All genuine developments and faculties occur in the human being directly from the spiritual hierarchies.
There are no exceptions to this. All transformations of the form come from the spiritual plane downward through the sacrifice of higher beings. The elohim. The angels of Venus did not arrive via spacecraft. They manifested themselves directly on the Earth. They could do this because Venus is simply the higher realm of the Earth. It is part of the Earth. And at certain periods of human development, they directly overlap in a more obvious way.
They were also not flesh and blood beings. They first interacted with the Earth as spiritual entities and gradually insold into the human body as it became more complex. Direct physical interference with human beings is immoral. It is immoral for a higher being to physically interfere and connect with humanity. And no angelic being of the spiritual hierarchy would do that. There were also waves of souls that came following the initial seven Elohim from the Venusian realm.
In occult science, the migration of souls from one sphere of development to another is called the transmigration of souls. The transmigration of souls occurs due to higher laws within the solar system. And these beings, these waves of souls from the Venusian plane, never came in a physical craft. They incarnated into human bodies. And this is key. When we talk about beings from other spheres, we are talking about incarnation and the evolution of the soul in the solar system.
We are not talking about flesh and blood, aliens and crafts. That topic belongs mainly to another area of study to do with the atlantean epoch of the Earth where technology and spirit were still naturally united. This is not the case today. The key to understanding this material is to grasp that what we are looking at when it comes to beings from other spheres is really about the soul's, incarnational path within the solar system.
It is about human initiation. The planets are really like different schoolhouses for the soul. They are different developmental periods of humanity. Humanity is not limited to the Earth, and the development of the human essence takes place in the solar system and cosmos at large, mainly through incarnation. Certain planets have initiating relationships to others, as Venus does to the Earth. Some planets and stars have little direct relationship to the Earth, while others are more direct embodiments of it.
Therefore, the mystery of the stars and planets is really the mystery of time and the mystery of development. Now that we have gone into the complexities of our past and the process of human metamorphosis, it can perhaps all be summed up in the following statement all developments of the human form stem from the spiritual hierarchies and ultimately the Son or the Christ. If a new capacity is gained, if a new organ of perception emerges, if consciousness is raised, it is through the solar Christ forces.
