Greatest Mob Actors Of All Time Ranked by Ex-Mobster

Those two characters were so brilliant in that movie. You got to watch. Everybody was brilliant. You got to watch it. No question about it. So I’m going to put him in a category that some people are going to say, Come on, Michael. I can put him in two categories. I can put him in three characters. I’m going to put him in… I’m going to put him in legendary. And the reason I’m doing that, because he was a legend in that movie. John Gotti was a legend. No question about it. I could easily put him in the greatest of all times because of that movie.

It’s alone. But I’m going to give a little bit of deference to the other guys who played in a few more movies than he did with respect to that. But I don’t know. I don’t know if I’m not doing him justice because he really is one of the greatest actors of all time in mob roles. No question about it. And in other roles, too, he’s a brilliant actor. So I’m going to put him there for now. Amy, come back on another video and say, you know what? I shouldn’t have done that. He should have been in the greatest of all time.

But he’s a dear friend, too. I love the guy. And that’s it. So these are my choices for the top 20 that we picked out. There are more that we could have done. But these are my choices for the top 20. So who do we got? I’m going to review them quickly again for you. The greatest of all time. Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Joe Pesci, of course. And of course, of course, without any doubt, Vito Corleone, Marlon Brando, no doubt. Legendary. Tony Serrico. We got Sylvester Stallone. My dear friend Chaz Palminteri. We have Tom Hardy.

We have James Gandolfini. And of course, Armand De Sante. All legends. In the memorable, we got Cillian Murphy. We got Steve Buscemi. We got Ray Liotta. We got Johnny Depp. And of course, Denzel Washington. Brilliant actor. OK, we got an average. We got Michael Shannon. We got Christopher Montesanti. And we got Paul Savino. And I think they’re in the right category. If you disagree, let me know. And of course, forgettable. I have no problem saying this. We have John Travolta as John Gotti in that forgettable movie that got zero on Rotten Tomatoes. Well earned. So that’s it for today.
