Would I Ever Run for President?

Foreign. I’m not going to hell for anybody. I’m really not. I am a Christian and I’m not selling my soul for anybody, whether it be a politician. I wouldn’t do it for my own kids. Sell my soul. My responsibility, my obligation as president would be to work for the welfare of the people of this country. As a politician. If I were, then I would sit down with my colleagues and tell them we caused this. But politics is really, really corrupt. They make the street look like, you know, babies. Am I afraid to engage in something like that? No.

But do I need it at this point in my life? Hey, everybody. Welcome to another sit down with Michael Francis. Hope everybody is doing well. All is very good, very blessed on this end. As always, my friends, I give all the praise, honor, glory and thanksgiving to our God for that. Had some real interesting guests on. Hope you really enjoyed it. Hope you enjoyed my video about Justin Bieber and Britney Spears. Meant it from the heart. Those two young people are struggling and hopefully they can get it together. You know, crazy thing that I have to.

To respond to today, and that’s because I get this so often for some reason, and it’s been happening for years now. I think even Sammy Gavano got a few, you know, comments about this. Michael, why don’t you run for office? You got such a good perspective on certain things. You know, you knew how things ran on the street. You wrote a book called the Mafia Democracy. You know, you understand how the government works to a large degree. We need somebody like you are on the right side of it. And of course, there’s some of you out there would never ask for that because you know that my politics or my ideology doesn’t align with yours.

But, you know, way back when, a couple years ago, I was seriously asked to run for a position in Las Vegas. Vegas, they’ve been talking about maybe the mayor of the city, state assembly, a couple other things. People now are telling me, you know, michael, run for Congress. You know, you can do it. The fact that you have a record, it’s okay. It’s old. I hear all of this stuff. So let me respond to that and tell you, you know, a couple of things. You know, first of all, I gotta be honest with you. My wife would not like me running for office for sure.

You know, we’ve had enough scrutiny in our life. And I know that she knows it’s a dirty, corrupt game. And, you know, if I were to run for office, things that I was involved in 30, 40 years ago, the media will make it Sound like it happened this morning. You know, so they’ll go back and they’ll start to dig stuff up. And we know the media, you know, to a large degree is corrupt. They don’t report things properly. And, you know, why should we put my family through something like that? Again, I get it. I understand it.

She’s had enough in her life. I’ve been, you know, a highly publicized figure. Not everything has been complimentary, so I understand that. And of course, you know, I would always put my wife and children first and not do anything that would really upset them to that degree. You know, secondly, look, I’ve seen corruption all my life. I really have. And I know politics is a very corrupt game. There’s no question about it. You know, and I’ve talked about this when people say, you know, that the police department are corrupt, the police departments are corrupt throughout this country.

And, you know, we need to defund the police, get rid of the police and have, you know, community services to help the criminals go straight. It’s so ridiculous. That doesn’t even make sense to even propose something like that. You know, we need police. And of course, there could be reform the same way there could be reform in every office that exists on the face of the earth. My friends, I know something about having power, whether it’s on the streets or in the media. It’s all about who controls the narrative. And right now, the mainstream media is trying to control yours, whether you realize it or not.

I’ve been with politicians that you can call them corrupt. They were accepting money to do things that weren’t really hurting, you know, the population in any way. They were putting money in their pocket. You know, I know that.

I get it. But do they do things that, you know, enrich themselves and that certainly don’t help the people of this country or any. Any place? Of course, they do it all the time. Is it a corrupt game? It’s a tremendously corrupt game. Am I afraid to engage in something like that? No. But do I need it at this point in my life? I’m 74 years old. What do I need to go through all of that for? Well, Michael, you’re not really a patriot if you believe you can do something and you’re not doing anything to help.

I believe I’m doing the best I can right now by having a voice. Thanks to all you people out there, you’ve given me a platform. People do pay attention to some of my views, whether you like them or not. You know, I get a lot of good feedback. Mostly good. You know, of course we get, you know, haters out there or people that disagree in such a way. When I say haters, there’s a difference between disagreeing and being a hater. You know, a hater, they immediately attack you personally. You know, it’s not about your views. It’s not about your opinions.

It’s not about your position. They come right after. After you personally. You know, it’s. And it’s silly. It doesn’t accomplish anything. You know, if you want to attack or. Or have a dispute with somebody’s views, that’s one thing, but to go after them personally, because it just shows how weak and how little a person you are. If you have to do that, trust me when I tell you something very interesting. I don’t know if you know this, but 4th of July is coming up, and at the signing of the Declaration of Independence, our forefathers, they were drinking wine.

And. And I gave basically the reasons why I think I have a better platform here, being able to discuss my views, hopefully have an impact, because I’m honestly, I’m all about this country. That’s it. You know, I want to help people see what I believe to be the truth. And for those of you out there, you know, Michael, you’re in Trump’s pocket, and Trump must be paying you off. It’s so ridiculous. It’s so silly. It’s hard to even respond to any like that because somebody has a view that is in opposition to yours. You have to make ridiculous statements.

It makes no sense. Why would I be? Why would Trump be paying me? Why would I be? What does he need to pay me for? He’s the President of the United States. He doesn’t need to pay me for anything. You know, if my voice out there helps him get a few votes or tries to let people see the right thing, what does he need to pay me for? It’s so stupid. It really is. I have to talk straight with you people. It’s stupid to even suggest something like that, you know, because I believe in a certain person’s or a politician’s positions because we’re in alignment in what they feel the policy for the American people should be.

And I agree with that. That means I’m in a pocket or I’m delusional or I don’t know what’s going on or whatever. You know what? I make my Decisions based upon what I see. What is a conclusion I reach after my research, Talking to people, looking into things, studying things so I can form a proper conclusion on my part. That’s how I arrive at things. Nobody’s paying me. Nobody’s doing anything. That’s just nonsense, silly stuff. But, you know, let me tell you this. Let me tell you what I would do if I were President. And this may sound familiar to you, but this is what I would do, number one.

I would make everybody know I can’t be bought. There’s no way. You know, I got to tell you this. I’m not going to hell for anybody. I’m not. I’m really not. And I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I am a Christian, and I’m not selling my soul for anybody, whether it be a politician. I wouldn’t do it for my own kids. Sell my soul. I’m not going to hell for anybody. So if I were to come into public office, I would really, really have to search my soul and my conscience and, and, and. And come up with what I believe to be the best thing for the American people.

That’s it. And for the world in general. Because when you’re the President of the United States, you have the whole world in some way that you’re impacting. Remember that. This is a tremendous responsibility, tremendous responsibility, you know. So I would really search my soul, number one, and make sure that I can do the job and I would follow through with it. So I let everybody know out there, don’t bother, don’t approach me, don’t try to buy me. All you people that come here and lobby and wanted to, I’m not interested. And I would speak directly to the American people as often as I possibly can, because that’s who my responsibility is to the people that elected me and the people that didn’t elect me.

Same way, my responsibility, my obligation as President would be to. To work for the welfare of the people of this country, whether you voted for me or not. So put it out there on notice. Don’t try it. It’s not going to happen. Number two, I would do everything in my power and this would be a monumental task to bring this country together. I would sit down with the opposition as often as I could if they would sit down with me and I would try to express my views to them and in a rational way so that they understand that this is for the benefit of the United States of America.

You know, we have a $36 trillion debt that people don’t want to talk about, and I say this all the time as a politician. If I were, then I would sit down with my colleagues and tell them, we caused this. We did it. The American people did not put us $36 trillion into debt. We, we did it with irresponsible spending, period. We spent more money than we had. And many of you know here that you lined your pockets as a result of it. I would tell them straight out, I don’t have to point fingers at you individually, but you know darn well we caused this country to be in tremendous debt.

The American people did not do that. And if they were to say, well, we didn’t collect enough tax revenue, well, then don’t spend the money. Cut this behemoth government that we had. Cut it down. Our founding fathers never believed in a behemoth government. They believed in limited government, like Ronald Reagan used to say all the time. What did he say? He said the worst call you ever want to get is somebody to knock on your door and say, I’m here from the government and I’m here to help you. You don’t want to hear that. We don’t need a behemoth government.

And our government right now is behemoth. It’s too darn big. And if we’re spending money wastefully on that, then cut it out. People can go in private sector and get a job. That’s what we need to do. We need to build up the private sector, build up manufacturing, build up the retail, you know, section of our country. Help everybody. We’re a capitalist nation. That’s how nations survive. That’s what I would do. That would be, number one, work hard. Work hard in trying to cut this debt down. And I would go to the American people and I’d tell them, listen, you didn’t cause this.

We did it collectively. I’m even going to take responsibility, even though I just came into office. And I’ll take more responsibility if I don’t help to reduce this debt. Because someday it’s going to bring our country down. There’s no question about it. You cannot continue on this path and creating this much debt and expect to survive. We’re only pushing it there can. Kicking the can down the road, pushing this on our children and grandchildren. And if you feel good about that, what could I tell you? So there’s going to be some pain. Has to be. And I would try to appeal them rationally and show them, even if I had to get a board and show them this is not going to last.

It’s. It’s not sustainable. We’re going to destroy ourselves. Same way the Roman Empire destroyed themselves. They were, they were taken down from within. Their military became weak. They became very immoral. I’m sorry, Immorality was, was the talk of the day. And financially, this was the problem there. We can’t let that happen to the United States of America. So we have to start cutting corners. And it’s up to all of these people, left, right, whatever, independent, to get together in a room and work it out. And I would publicize the meetings and I would tell them all, I don’t want to hear any backdoor garbage.

No backdoor. Let’s put it in front of the American public and tell them how we’re going to solve it. That’s it. And yes, maybe some of these programs have to suffer. We don’t want to let Social Security go. We don’t want to let Medicare go. Those are the last things that should go because people paid into their Social Security and the elderly needs Medicare and Medicaid to a degree, too. But yes, we got to get the people off of Medicaid that don’t belong there. There’s a lot of government abuse. There’s a lot of abuse by the taxpayer because the government is inefficient in handling things.

That’s the way it is. We see it all the time. So that would be, number one, get all of Congress together and say, we need to do something here. That’s it. And then I would try to explain to the American people, the reason that you’re so divided is because of these people here, all of my colleagues that are feeding you stuff to divide this country because their ideology is in opposition to another ideology and therefore they want to get back in power. And that’s it. And I would tell the American people, listen, people in this room are guilty.

They love the power, they love the perks, and they shouldn’t because they are your public servant. Now you say, michael, this is so unreal, it doesn’t even matter. You’re setting you’re up to get killed, somebody’s going to try to assassinate you, and it’ll be from within. Well, you know what? If I took on the job, it’s the only way that I could do it, because I tell you, I’m not going to hell for anybody. And if I took such a massive responsibility on where the people of this country were depending upon me, okay, then I would have to go all out or I wouldn’t do it at all.

I’m not going to hell for anybody. Meaning I’m not going to sell myself. Selling. Sell the people a bill of goods on the campaign trail. And then go into office and do the exact opposite. I’m not going to do it. I can’t do it. So please, you know, that would be, you know. And I say that from the heart. And maybe. Maybe it’s a little selfish. Michael, you’re not going to hell for anybody. That’s right. So either I take on the job and do it right, or I don’t do it all. And what I believe to be right is to work on behalf of the American people.

Now, understand something. I may not get everything right. I may not. I may make a mistake. I hope not. I hope I put the best people around me to advise me. That’s what I would hope to do. And let me tell you something, people. I’m not great at everything that I do. I told you that. People said you’re a brilliant businessman. Well, I know my way around. But brilliant may not be the word. I don’t know. But I did have a talent. You know what my talent was? Realizing that I don’t do everything well. Or that I don’t want to do everything well.

I knew how to pick the right people. Do what you do best, delegate the rest. Remember that. Do what you do best, delegate the rest. And then learn how to be a good motivator, a good leader. So that these people buy into what it is you’re selling them or what it is you want them to accomplish. Motivate them, encourage them, make them want to do the job. And if they don’t, and if you find out you made a mistake, you let them go and you get somebody else. So I would hope that I would have the right consularies around me in each department, you know, people to advise me, not yes men.

I don’t need a yes man. I need somebody to say, you’re right, you’re wrong. We’re better off if we do it this way, we’re better off we do it that way. Whatever. We arrive at a consensus, yes, I’ll make the final call. But I want to get as much information as I possibly can. So that’s what I would do. Benefit the American people. As far as foreign policy, listen, it’s all about knowing how to, you know. You got to know who your opponent is. You got to know their mentality. You got to know what it is they’re trying to accomplish.

Otherwise, you’re not going to succeed. That’s the bottom line. You have to know. So you got to do your work. You know, if I was dealing with Putin, I want to know the psychology behind him. I want to know what his goals are. I want to know what he’s trying to accomplish. I want to know how I speak to him, what I know I can get from him, and what I know I can’t get from him. This might be a monumental task. I don’t know if I can do it. Trump, he’s not able to bring both parties together.

The divisiveness between these two parties, I don’t think it’s ever been worse than it is now. I mean that in my lifetime, I’ve never seen anything like this. So I don’t know that Trump is going to be able to accomplish that. I’m not saying that I would be able to accomplish that, but it would be a major effort on my part. I see. You know, Fetterman, you know, Congressman Fetterman, I mean, he’s coming aboard. He doesn’t agree with everything that Trump is saying, but he’s agreeing with a lot of it. He’s approaching it logically. He. He doesn’t have tds.

He isn’t saying, no matter what Trump says or does, we’re not going along with it. He doesn’t say that. He listens. He agrees with something. He’ll say it. He puts it out there. I have so much respect for that. To try to arrive at a consensus is difficult. There’s some things we’re just not going to agree on, but there are other things that we have to agree on when we’re doing something for the benefit of the country, if, God forbid, a war were to break out, or, God forbid, something that, you know, really was vital to the health of the welfare of the American people, we have to come to a consensus.

And I always do my best to do that. So I don’t want to get into all my policy choices right now. I don’t think that’s, you know, that’s what you’re asking for. But I guess to sum it up, what I would do if I was President of the United States would, number one, again, really think about it first, before I took the job on, and then know that I had to do everything in my power the right way. I’m not for sale. I’m not for backdoor deals. I’m just going to do it that way. And I’m a deal maker.

You know, I would have to take it on and do the right thing for the country, because, again, I’m not going to hell for anybody I’m sorry. And I’m not going to, you know, get into office and say one thing and then do another when I finally get there. I’m not going to do that. My second thing, I would put it out there right away to the people. Listen, you know what? If I make you a promise, hold me to it. I’ll make you a promise. If I make a declaration, hold me to it. I would communicate with the people as often as I could.

I think Trump is pretty good at that. I would do my best not to over promise and under deliver. I think if Trump has a fault sometimes, you know, he, he gets a little lofty in his promises and then it’s tough to deliver. Even though he may want to, he doesn’t realize there’s obstacles in the way. Sometimes you can’t always deliver. And then of course, the other side gets on, oh, he made your promise, but he didn’t deliver. They don’t tell you that the reason you can’t deliver is because you’re blocking him every step of the way.

But anyway, got to be careful in what you promise, make sure you can deliver, or at least tell them, this is my what I’m going to try to do and then show the effort to do that along the way. Communication with the American people is vital. It’s vital being able to back up what you say. Vital because you’ve got people on the other side that are looking to cut your throat all the time. But again, try to bring both sides together as best I could, communicate with the people, get good advisors around me and make the right decisions, especially when they’re critical decisions, you know, and then just manage this country in the best way that I possibly can.

Because, remember, whether you’re the President of the United States, a person in Congress, any. You’re public servants, you’re working for the people. And we have to keep that in mind. And I’m telling you, you know, listen, people of faith, sincere people of faith, I believe would take the same position as me. They go into office, they would have to do the right thing. So, yes, a sincere person of faith, a Christian in this regard who really loves the Lord, would have all the right intentions going in. Now, let me clarify. This is complicated. Because you have the right intentions doesn’t always mean you’re qualified for the job.

So there has to be. It has to go both ways. You’ve got to be qualified for the job, and then your intentions have to be honest and true. That’s the package. That’s what you want. Somebody that’s highly qualified for the job and somebody that’s devoted to God and doesn’t want to take any chance of destroying his chance for eternity. And maybe that’s selfish, but, you know, that’s the way it goes. Because if you’re accountable to God because your eternal salvation relies on it or depends on it, then you’re going to be good to people. You’re not going to hurt them.

Sorry. Just the way it goes. So look, you know, in summation, you know, would I ever run for office? The answer is no. I have no desire to run for office. And even though I get frustrated, I sit, you know, and I watch the media and say, man, if I was there, I would do this. I wouldn’t let that person get away or how could they do this? And I get very frustrated and very angry because I see them acting in the detriment of the American people. And it bothers me. It really does. It bothers. Some of the stuff that’s going on today bothers me tremendously.

But that doesn’t mean I can get in there and solve it. What’s the best way to deal with it? Well, maybe just doing what I’m doing now. That’s it. You know, having a voice, trying to put people on the right track. Let me tell you something. I would never intentionally mislead people. When I tell you something, I mean it from the heart. If I’m telling you about. If I’m calling somebody out, it’s because this is how I really feel. And I feel that they’re doing something that’s harmful. That’s it. You know, always going against, going against.

Just for the sake of going against somebody that’s not in the interest of the American people. You’re not doing it. You’re not a good person when you’re doing that. You’re selfish and you’re doing it for your own particular goals and satisfaction and benefit. Nothing noble in that. Nothing whatsoever. So I would never run for office because I believe I have a better platform to influence people, to give the true analysis on things. Sitting right here where I am and speaking around the world. You know, I have to tell you this. People I’ve spoke to, you know, in person, I don’t know how many.

I couldn’t even count. Over a million, of course. In 30 years, absolutely. How many more people online? I don’t know. I got, you know, over a half a billion views in certain platforms. So a lot of people have heard me. So, you know, and a lot of people have comment and In a positive way about what I have to say about certain issues. A lot of people get mad. You know, there’s certain things that you. You can’t even talk about because it doesn’t matter what you say. Why would try to win those people over, quite honestly? So never run for office.

I’m not afraid of the corruption, but at this point in time, I think I can do much better in the platform that I have right here and now. So that’s that. But if I were running for office, and I hope that there’s a candidate out there that thinks like I do, I hope it’s a good Christian brother, and I mean that. That thinks like I do. Or sister. Hey, women are very capable. Sorry for those of you that don’t think so, but women are very, very capable. No question about it. I see many of them that are.

Would have the same feeling that I have. You know, you’re not going to hell for anybody. You’re going to go there, you’re qualified, and you’re going to give it your best shot to do the right thing for the American people and for the world. So I would do that. And really, that’s it. That’s all I have to say. So hopefully you get it. Hopefully. I’ve answered some questions for all of you that have been asking me and trying to promote me to run for office. Some people, you know, said, michael, you should run for office, and Sammy should be your vice president or vice versa.

Sammy should run for office, and I should be his vp. I guarantee you, Sammy ain’t going for office either. None of us are. So anyway, listen, I care very deeply about this country. I care very deeply about the future of this country, about my kids, my grandchildren, all the kids out there. And I just want them to know the right thing, you know, America is the greatest country in the world. There’s no question. When I travel everywhere, everybody’s in awe of America. And I’ve been all over the world. And California, when I tell them I’m from California, oh, my God, I want to get there someday, you know, regardless of, you know, what Newsom might be doing.

And the politics here, it’s a beautiful state. And now people hear about California. Oh, my God, you know, and I get it, because the politics stink. Terrible. Really. How do you destroy something, you know, God’s creation, so beautiful. How do you destroy it? By your ideology and your crazy thoughts and ideas that you’re imposing upon people. Crazy. So, you know, but America is a great country, and I want to see it thrive and prosper. And I want to see all the people thrive and prosper. That’s how I feel about it at this stage of my life, people.

So that’s it for today. So hope you continue to listen to me and hopefully that my voice makes some sense to some of you. And we can continue to, you know, to keep this country or put this country on the right track, because that’s all we’re asking for. And listen, when America is strong. When America is strong, the world is in better shape because they know peace by strength. They know our might. They know what we can accomplish. We have to be strong in America. And our ideals have to be ideals that people look at and want to be part of.

That’s it. So how do I always leave you, my friend? Same way. Never going to change. Same way. Be safe. Number one priority of our politicians, our president, and all these people in office is to keep us safe. Remember that. Never to put us in harm’s way, to keep us safe. Be safe, be healthy. Can’t speak more about that. And yes, we ask God to bless every single one of you out there. Families, friends, neighborhoods, communities. And yes, God bless America. God bless our president. God bless all the people in office that you instilled in them, the Holy Spirit, so they come out and make right decisions for all of us.
