Marvin Sapp LIES Again – $40000 Close the Doors

There’s 1,000 of you. I said close them doors. Ushers, close the doors. Close the doors. Close the doors. It’s a thousand that’s watching online. This is a small seed. If I get a thousand online to give this, if I get a thousand in the sanctuary to give this, that’s $40,000 tonight. Now everyone up here, we’ve all sowed and seeded, but I need everyone standing up here with us, with me, to plant a seed of $100. Because again, it costs to sit up here. And this is what I need you to do. If you’re giving electronically or even if you’re giving tangibly, I’m gonna have y’all come to the altar and give it because I need to see a thousand people moving.

Bring them baskets. I want the baskets up here. I want to see the folk. Y’all start moving. It never ceases to amaze me how someone who claims to be a worship leader, a pastor, a leader in the church, someone who you should look up to, is setting such a bad example. But then to take it even further and continue to lie about why he did what he did. You see the context of the video is that he is demanding of the church to come up with $40,000. To the extent that when you’re watching the video in its context, you’ll see that he’s telling the ushers ain’t no one leaving.

We’re getting this money. But in response to the backlash, many of you have seen this already, others of you haven’t. But now what he’s saying is that he wasn’t trying to tell him to shut the doors because he wanted to collect the $40,000. No, he was doing it for their safety. I quote what he said. The truth is, when finances are being received in any worship gathering, it is one of the most vulnerable and exposed times for both the finance and security teams. Movement during this sacred exchange can be distracting and at times even risky.

My directive, speaking of telling everyone that they couldn’t leave until he got the $40,000, my directive was not about control, it was about creating a safe, focused, and reverent environment for those choosing to give. Marvin, why are you lying, man? And that’s the thing. There’s no way that he could get away with this lie if the church in America wasn’t so fallen away. Isaiah 30, 9 on forward, it speaks of a people and this gives us an example of a clue of how people in America are operating as well. That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of God, which say to the seers, see not, and to the prophets, prophesy not unto us right things.

Speak unto us smooth things, prophesy the seats. For a large amount of people in the church in America, this is what it’s become. The only reason you can have a person who claims to be a pastor, a minister, a leader, a worship leader, whatever you want to call it, be able to tell the ushers to close the doors until he got $40,000. It’s if you have a church in that nation, in that city, in that community, that’s actually so lukewarm that not only will they succumb to it, but they will oblige to it as well because they like the message that’s being preached.

Close the doors. We all gonna lead together. Y’all ain’t going no place but to the restaurant. There’s 1,000 of you tonight and those that are watching, it’s a thousand that’s watching online. This is a small seed. If I get a thousand online to give this, if I get a thousand in the sanctuary to give this, that’s $40,000 tonight. And if it was that God’s instructions and commandments and holiness was being preached, that’s one thing. But what people like nowadays more than anything else is a motivational speech. It’s a soul a miracle seed here, soul a miracle seed there, and God will bless you in this particular way.

Even the truth movement, it’s become a tool that people use to exploit so that then they can do all sorts of things to merchandise you as well. It just makes me think of 2 Peter 2, 1 through 3 when it clearly tells us that there’s going to be a lot of damnable heresies. In verse 3 it tells us, And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. And the church in America is a prime example. And sadly it’s an example to the world as well because now even here in Puerto Rico you see the prosperity gospel coming in here.

And how do they knock on your door? With feigned words. In Isaiah 30, what did they want them to tell them? Speak unto us smooth things. People want the words that tickle their ears or even entertain them as well. So absolutely as Marvin Sapp a liar and a deceiver just based on this, he could have just said hey guys I was just collecting an offering for him to then say so Marvin Sapp is a deceiver because he’s now claiming that he didn’t tell him to shut the doors to collect the offering and put pressure on them.

No, he was doing it for their safety. Well does he do that in every church service? Does he close the doors of the church service every time that they collect the tithe and offering? No. These people are deceivers but you wouldn’t have the deceivers if the crowd wasn’t there. You can’t have a circus without the audience members to go see the circus. And the people in America love the spectacle and the circus but they don’t like the true word of God. And we forget that judgments begins at the house of God and at some point in time, at some point in day, that moment’s going to come where it’s going to be a little bit too late and judgment begins.

When is that coming? I don’t know. You don’t know but the one thing I do know is if today you can live better for Jesus choose to live better for Jesus because tomorrow is not guaranteed and we take far too much for granted in this world. When I think of things like this it just makes me sad. So these things are twofold. Ruslan couldn’t get away with charging 75 dollars for you to meet him if there wasn’t an audience who was willing to pay 75 dollars to meet him. Ruslan wouldn’t be able to get away with being in a position that he has an event where he has two tiers of Christians, the VIPs and the regular ones, if the audience members weren’t so gullible to buy into that.

Called F.U. Money. There’s some people that just got F.U. money. You can’t tell me nothing right? I think for me I would love to be in a position someday where I just have F.U. money. No one can hold anything over my head. I don’t got to go do a show. I don’t want to do it. You can’t tell me nothing. Bro I got the following. I got 28,000. I got 200,000 on TikTok. Two, three hundred thousand, five hundred thousand. How do I monetize these people? You know what I mean? How do I monetize these people? And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you, whose judgment now the long time lingrith not.

Marvin Sapp couldn’t get away with what he’s getting away with, that hustle that he just did and telling people that he’s going to lock them out of a church, that he’s going to lock them from being able to leave the church, which I mean quite honestly that’s illegal, right? Because if there’s a fire or if there’s something that happens, but I digress on that. These charlatans would not be able to get away with what they get away with if it wasn’t for the people. Let’s be Berean’s family, all of us, me included, you included.

Let’s do better. God has given us the Holy Spirit, which teaches us all things, guides us into all truth. And he’s really given to us so many different things. And it’s just a shame that in the modern day church, we’ve turned following the way of Jesus into merchandising. And I just find that a little bit disgusting. But you wouldn’t have that happening if the people weren’t the ones enjoying it, partaking of it, and demanding it. So they also are responsible as well. May Jesus help us all. Let’s go ahead and pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for my brothers and sisters around the world that have taken up their time to tune into this video.

I mean, you’re still the same God that was with Daniel when they changed the decrees and he still opened up his windows and kept on praying and worshiping. You’re the same God that was in that lines then.

You’re the same God that even when Jesus showed up and Martha thought that he was late and he was like take away that stone and she was in a position that she told him by this time this body stink and I’m paraphrasing. You’re still that same God that still resurrected Lazarus. So no matter what we’re going through, no matter what the situation is, no matter what the difficulty is, you’re still God. You have not changed. We love you and we thank you for helping us through these moments of difficulties and thank you for guarding and protecting these brothers and sisters all around the world and comfort them right now for them to understand that you’re still the same God and that you have not left them comfortless.
