So, you know, it’s kind of interesting because I didn’t really know too much about this whole alaskan triangle until kind of recently. I think. I think I’ve like heard about it here and there. You know, I never really looked too much into it and I had no idea that this many people disappear.

It’s a whopper. Yeah, it’s huge. 20,000 people, that’s, that’s like, I mean, and this, we’re talking about a remote area. We’re not talking about like New York City. No, it’s, um, it’s, it’s pretty serious. Yeah. To give, to put that in perspective, in Alaska, that’s, that’s four and 1000, like every 1000 people, four of those people are going to end up missing. Yeah. But you have to take into consideration the population there, which is. Yeah, yeah, it’s very hard to anyone there. So the fact that 20,000 of those non existent people have missing like a tremendous amount of people, it’s a whole lot amount.

Proportionately. That’s the most mysterious thing when you take consideration the population. Yeah, so true. Oh, wait. Okay. Something’s wrong. Is it something’s happening with, with the Rob’s signals pretty bad right now. It’s Rob. Okay. I wasn’t sure if it was me or if it was Rob. Okay, I can come back. I’ll be right back. Okay, sounds good. All right, well, we’ll just jump right into it while he’s kind of resetting his probably. Is something going on this modem. So, um, if you haven’t, if you don’t really know much about this, you know, everyone, of course, everyone knows about the Bermuda triangle, but in reality, there’s a lot of different triangles all around the world.

Um, but this one, more people go missing in Alaska, in this Alaska triangle than anywhere else in the world. Um, and most people are completely, they completely vanish without a trace. This isn’t like, you know, you find the body later. Most of these cases, the bodies have never been found. And this is a lot of cases for something like this. Now, what’s interesting is that this started really getting a lot of attention in 1986. So there was a report that came out to the Federal Aviation Administration or the FAA. And the report was. Report claimed that there was a Japanese.

The Japan Airlines flight 1628 had encountered three UFO’s. The pilot reported that they initially believed the craft to be military before realizing that the objects were keeping pace with the plane. And they were also, like, moving about in very erratic ways and everything else. And they’re also emitting bursts of light. So the claims were later verified by civilian and military radar. And, of course, this led some to speculate that the thousands of strange disappearances that occurred in a triangle area, triangular area, could be attributed to extraterrestrials, or at least some kind of extraterrestrial, you know, influence maybe, or something similar to that.

Now we’re going to get into some of the strange phenomenons and weird things that have been seen over Alaska. But, you know, again, theories range everything from alien abductions, Bigfoot sightings, um, some, you know, cryptid mythical creatures. Um, also the, the, like, native people to Alaska have something that they call. And I’m not even sure if I’m pronouncing this right, Kushtaka I think that’s right. Tushkaka, which is kind of like a, maybe like a windigo kind of being creature thing. So they they. It’s like this is part of their folklore, you know, or not. I don’t even know if we want to say folklore, but this is part of their, you know, what they believe, like, like it’s a truth to them.

It’s that I’m not trying to. That’s what I’m trying to say. It’s not like a myth or like a fairy tale to them. It’s like, oh, yeah, I. This thing is real. This is what happens, you know? So, um. But, yeah, because the environment is so much harsher. This is why. And it’s every. This is why, like, you know, people go disappearing, but it’s everything from, um, boats, ships, planes, to, uh, you know, people. And strange, strange, strange disappearances, too, where people are, like, in a group, and then all of a sudden, the one person goes missing, and they just disappear.

It’s very strange stuff. So there was a video that was produced by the History Channel. I think Rob’s coming back here with David Paulides. And this is a real. So, Rob, I was just kind of explaining some of the background with this. It started in 86, is kind of when the first japanese pilot reported on UFO’s. Now, here’s a kind of a. This is an interesting documentary, and David Politis, who we’ve actually interviewed, we’ve had David politis on our show before, and he’s talking about specifically Alaska and why these disappearances are so strange. So, Lindsey, can you play this clip here? When you look at the Alaska Triangle, one of the few times a search and rescue person has ever disappeared was an individual named Gerald Deberry, and he was on a search outside of Fairbanks, and he was on an ATV, and he never showed back up.

After the search, the Alaska state troopers bring canines in. The canines can’t find a scent. They bring professional trackers in. They can’t find tracks. And strangely, they couldn’t find the ATV. It was a year later. A hiker finds the ATV, engines turned off, and the Alaska state troopers went in and did another massive search. He’s never been found. The number of people that are reported missing in Alaska every year is twice as high as the national average. But can all of these disappearances be explained by Alaska’s unforgiving wilderness? It’s possible, but there are those who believe that something more extraordinary may be taking place.

Okay, Lindsey, you can pause it here. Yeah, so. So, I mean, it just kind of gets into these, like, really why these are so mysterious. You know, some people are like, well, yeah, okay. The terrain is really rough. They have bad weather up there. You know, all these different aspects are going on with, you know, there’s mountains, snow. You’re dealing with, like, freezing cold. Like, all these factors can come to play, and it’s like, yeah, out of these 20,000, granted, you know, there has been situations where, like, the weather took people or whatnot, but we’re gonna get into some really unusual cases, such as whole planes that completely just disappeared with no wreckage whatsoever.

You know, even to this day, they’ve never found anything. And some of these are decades old, you know, so we’ll get into some of these as well. And, you know, there’s. So there’s all these articles talking about how so many people just disappear in the triangle more than anywhere else. And the. And it’s pretty big, the. The triangle, really, it goes kind of in the parts of Canada and then comes to, you know, most of. Most of Alaska. So, you know, I thought, like, right now we can get into some of the strange things that, uh, people have seen or some of the weird events that happened recently over Alaska.

Like, for example, um, the unidentified object that was shot down. So there’s still a lot of, like, confusion and controversy related to this, but, you know, because there was. There was the balloons, and then they were like, oh, that’s what they shot down. And then, then they came back and said, officially it was just the, you know, it was like, oh, some school project or something that we shot down. But then when you started thinking about it, I remember Rob and I were talking about it on the show one time, and we’re. We’re like, wait a minute.

You know, this is the middle of nowhere in Alaska. Like, what are you talking about, some school project? You know, it really seems like there’s something else going on here than anything then more than just, like, what we’re being told. But, yeah, as Lindsay highlighted there, it was shot down 10 miles off the frozen coast of Alaska. And. And, you know, the Pentagon didn’t really say too much. They sent pilots to examine it, and then that. That was pretty much it. Then, you know, the official stance was like, oh, it was like a balloon or something, or a weather experiment.

And then, you know, that was. They got a bunch of flak because supposedly they sent this, like, rocket, you know, this missile at it that cost, like, $400,000. And it was like a big joke, you know? But, um. But I’m just wondering if it was really. If it was something more. Because why, like, why over Alaska, right? So it’s just. It’s just really, really, really weird about all of this. And then this video came out, too. This was a US air Force pilot, and he filmed this object. This was also over Alaska. I’m not sure what year this was, but, um, so this.

This thing is very similar to what the japanese pilot talked about how it was flying with them and keeping pace with them and everything else, but it was just, like, hovering and. Very close. Yeah. Wow. Like a true ufo from a movie. So. Yeah. And that’s the only thing about this. You know, this could be fake. You know? It doesn’t seem like it, though, in this case. I don’t think it is. I mean, it’s pretty clear. And that, you know, that’s in most likely this is real, you know, or if it’s not, this is something very similar to what people have seen.

I mean, it’s hard to say for absolute certainty that this is real. But, um, according to, like, the sources and people were checking this, it seemed to be legit. Uh, you know, and this is really what he was, like, filming outside of this. So I guess Rob, he’s still having some issues, so hopefully he’ll come back on. We’ll see what happens. But, I mean, either way, this is. This is pretty cool footage, you know? I mean, it really is. But with all these things, you know, sometimes it’s kind of hard to say whether something’s real or not.

But it looks like this is truly legit, no matter what. It was shot over, you know, Alaska. So now the. I mean, the one on the right potentially could be a little bit more like, you know, maybe not so real. The one on the left, for sure. I mean, that’s the real footage that you’re seeing there. So, pretty crazy, really, is. What about all these portals that have been spotted above Alaska? Do you think those are real? Then we have these strange portals. There’s been a couple of them that people have seen also over Alaska. And, you know, they said it’s from SpaceX.

I guess my question is, how come we’ve never really seen a rocket do anything like this? And, okay, let’s just say it is from SpaceX. What the heck was it doing? Trying to literally create a portal? So, I mean, that’s the problem. Like, they’re like, oh, yeah, it’s from SpaceX. But then the media doesn’t even ask, oh, what was it doing? You know? And so that’s what’s kind of weird about this is that why do we have these portals opening up? Even if they are from a SpaceX rocket? Why is it like, what is it? What’s the purpose of it? What is it trying to do? Right? So these things are all very, very strange.

And there’s also been. What are we looking at? Sorry, just jumping in. These are. These. Are these, like, strange portals? That supposedly portals that people have been seeing all over Alaska. I mean, this was the one that was in mainstream media. Everybody was reporting on it. It really was there. The official explanation was it was from a SpaceX rocket. But again, we don’t know what that rocket was doing. And it’s like, why don’t we ever see any other kind of rockets do anything like this? I mean, it literally, if it was a rocket, it literally looks like it was trying to create some kind of portal or plasma field or something like that.

I mean, clearly, this is not a normal rocket. Like, rockets do not do that if they’re going to space. So what was this really? And was SpaceX just an excuse? You know, so. And the problem is, like, we don’t really have any direct answers. I mean, the official explanation is like, okay, it’s SpaceX, end of story. And they. There’s no more explanation about it. They don’t explain what they were doing. So I don’t know. But there’s tons of UFO activity are in and around Alaska. Here’s a clip from another documentary. This was a UFO, a pretty big UFO, in which an entire alaskan town saw.

And this was a few years back. But there’s one thing he’s sure of. Whatever he saw that night was not of this world. And plenty of other people saw it, too. The next morning, when I was going to work in Soldotna, we were at KSRM, radio on sound off. And there were people all over the area reporting seeing lights last night. And I had no doubt at that time that that was the same thing that I sat and watched for probably an hour and a half. I’m Bob Bird. I’m from Nikisky, Alaska. Yes. Well, actually, we want to play a little bit more.

We can. I mean, basically, they just kind of get into, you know, what happened is this radio station got a bunch of calls from local people all saying the same thing, and he just starts explaining. It takes calls on almost any topic. Yeah. So, you know, hundreds of people saw it. Strange lights over cook inlet. The lights would you turn up, Lindsey? They would move horizontally. They would move vertically. They cast reflections on the inlet waters and was seen by hundreds of people. Bruce is on the line. And, Bruce, you’re live on the bird’s eye view.

Yeah, well, I’m looking when I see these lights through the trees, and I’m thinking, what the hell would that be? And then what happened? Well, it just went by, and I was. There you are live on the bird’s eye view. Yeah, I was gonna say a mission. I saw some strange lights over Tuscamina. Would have been, like, between, like, about midnight ish, at least. It’s like, midnight to 01:00 a.m. so light. Yeah, basically, they just. They just get into, like, all these different people that saw this, so they knew that, you know, this wasn’t one guy just kind of making this up, you know? And then when they looked at the local police station, there was, like, over a hundred calls from people or reports from people in the area that were all seeing the same thing.

So, you know, it’s kind of. You know. So this brings up a really big question. Alaska is very remote, similar to, like, Antarctica, right? So is this, like, extraterrestrial in nature? Or is this. Could this be more like government black programs, you know, conducting experiments or both. Or both. Exactly. Yeah. And, I mean, they’ve been reporting on that Alaska dark pyramid for so long, too, which I’m sure we’ll get into at some point. And if that’s true, and there is weird stuff under the ground in Alaska, the military’s there studying that, you know? Right. And I.

So I know a little bit about the pyramid. Not a whole lot. So, Rob, why don’t you tell us, but before we do, why don’t we show a trailer for our platform here? Yeah, the dark pyramids. Yeah. Well, there’s allegedly. I mean, a lot of people have reported on this, and you can find episodes, like, even on ancient aliens and stuff, where there is allegedly a dark pyramid that is underground in Alaska, and it attracts all kinds of bizarre things, like lots of UFO sightings in this area.

There is a base near here, like a military base near this thing. And what, you know, people think, because all of this is speculation, is that somehow this dark pyramid is. Yeah, it’s like some type of power plant, some type of energy generation machine. And these. These crafts are going around it so that they can pull energy from it and then, um. And then send and then, you know, be able to fly anywhere that they need. So I. A lot of these craft are definitely pulling energy from. They have strange, exotic engines. Uh, some of them are pulling energy from the, uh, the sun.

They’re doing a variety of different things. Some of them pull them out, pull energy straight out of the ionosphere. But apparently this dark pyramid has some type of way of transferring energy to these craft, and that they’re attracted to it. Because of that, a lot of people think the military bases popping up there have to do with understanding this dark pyramid better, harnessing its energy, creating technology, and that even maybe some of the missing people around there are due to UFO abductions and things like that. Yeah. Where I’m wondering if it’s just like, this might sound kind of weird, but just random portals due to some kind of experimentation that they’re doing there as well.

Right. Like, let’s say that they’re, like, just using that as an example, whatever that was in the sky. Right. Let’s just say they, like, you know, are trying to experiment with portals. This is technology that, you know, you’re trying to control a fire, you know, in some aspects where anything could happen, people have died, you know, on these military bases, family members have been coming out, you know, and I’m not just talking specifically about Alaska. I’m just saying in general, you know, and, you know, they want answers, and it’s like, well, they’re a part of some kind of top secret thing, so, you know, they can’t give the family any answers.

So there’s a lot of these situations, and we just don’t know exactly what’s the. What’s happening. But related to this, one thing I did, I was looking up with the ley lines, and, you know, that’s more of, like, the energetic grid of the earth, and there’s a lot of things that line up. So I’m wondering if there. There is, like, a big part of this in Alaska. This is a very in depth website. If you go to maps dot leylines.net, you can literally look up. And now I don’t even. I mean, I only know, like, of like one or two.

But the thing is, is there’s. This is so intricate. There’s, like, all these different kinds of energy grids that you can look up on this map and everything. So. And, of course, you know, there are things that kind of go through here, through Alaska. But what’s fascinating is, you know, there’s all these ancient sites and significant landmarks from everything from the pyramids to Stonehenge to some of the mayan temples. All of them do cross very specific ley lines, you know, and these are basically, like, crisscrossing grids. And it seems that more of ancient cultures were very much aware of these.

And, I mean, look at the great pyramid, right? I mean, the. The, um. What is it? When you look at the. The base, you add the base up. It’s this. It’s the circumference of the, uh, speed of light, you know, like, how did they know these things? Yeah, how did they know that? Right. Yeah. Right. So, you know, some believe that the. The ley lines carry spiritual or kind of like, mystical energy. Either they’re often linked to the idea of spirit lines. Like, some. Some cultures actually call them that. Native american cultures, actually. It was. It was pretty common in that.

In that aspect of things, too. They were. So how, like, ley lines kind of came about because I didn’t really know the history about it. This guy named Alfred Watkins, he. He suggested that these were ancient, straight trackways in the landscape. And over time, the idea involved into a belief that these lines hold or channel Earth’s energies, you know, affecting all kinds of things. It can affect events, people, our energies, things around us, you know? Um, and then the other, like, the other kind of. I guess you could say the darker aspect of this is that could they be manipulated, used, or essentially kind of hacked for nefarious purposes? You know, if somebody on the other side was like.

Or find an ancient pyramid that happens to be on one of these things, and it’s like, hey, this is really remote. No one knows it’s here. Can we use it to our advantage in some way, like, how the military would do so. Yeah, so that’s, like, another big part of this, too. So there are a tremendous amount of UFO sightings in Alaska, too. So it’s every kind of weird activity that you could get anywhere else you get in Alaska, but it’s weirder. In Alaska. Like, it’s. Yeah, it’s weirder. It’s bigger, or it’s worse, or it’s just weirder.

It’s like the. Even. Even the cryptids. The cryptids are really just bizarre and, like, horror film quality cryptids, you know, straight up. Yeah, and there are also things that are there that, um, don’t really have any other reference on a lot of other places. You know, like, earlier I was mentioning the. The natives, um, the alaskan natives, and I’m trying to think their name right now, but. Oh, the Inuits. Well, yeah, that. That’s like a general term. Um, tinglet people or something like that. Ling. Ling. It. I’m not really sure it’s a very specific name. Anyway, but they were talking about this creature called Krishtaka.

K u s h t a k a. Yeah, that’s. That’s kind of like I was saying earlier, it’s kind of like this windingo kind of weird looking thing, you know? It’s not that. Like, I honestly, like, this is when I was researching this, I think. I think because we, we were talking about this once before about Alaska, and I know you on your metaphysical show, you were talking about this, too. But I’ve never really encountered this creature so much. But, like I said, it seems to be more in north american, like, very, very, like, more like Canada.

We’re talking about, you know, this creature that’s, like I said, more like a windingo kind of, you know, hybrid looking, weird creature. So, anyway, it’s there, and, you know, we don’t really hear about this in the general United States. You know, over here, it’s like, what is this thing? You know? So they definitely have things there that we don’t hear, like other weird cryptids that we don’t hear about. So is there anything else in your research, Rob, when you were looking this up, that, that you encountered? We’re going to get into some of the strange disappearances, but I wanted to give you a chance to.

Now, your, your Internet’s like, it looks super clear now. We were having issues again, but you look good now, so, I mean, I don’t know. It’s weird. I’m plugged directly in, but there might be something going on right now. It might be. It might still be in or out, but hopefully it stays. It stays. Good. Yeah. There, there are a few things. Lindsey, help me out here. What was the name of the island? The. It’s called Prince something Island in Alaska, where the Bigfoot are. Um, there is an island over there. It is Prince Wales. Right? Prince of Wales.

Prince of Wales island. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Prince there is. This island for Bigfoot, has to be the most bizarre, because I don’t know if they’re bigger. I don’t know if they’re stronger. But what they’ve done, it communicates, like, severe. They’re really territorial. Like, they’re way harsher than other Bigfoot. I think most people have this kind of nice idea of bigfoot, that they’re not really threatening, but here, they’re very threatening. And what they’ve done is there’s an area over there where they’ve literally taken massive trees out of the ground, flip them upside down, and their roots are all exposed at the top, almost like where the tree should be, its roots.

And it’s terrifying. If you think. If if you think about it and you’re smart enough to, like, put it together, you’re, like, something really big and really angry. Flip these trees around and stuck them back into the earth, and they’re sticking straight up. Right. We talked about this, in this episode called Abandoned Port Lock, which was. Port lock was a town that was allegedly abandoned because the Bigfoot. The Bigfoot activity got so aggressive that the people left. That’s what people think happened. But actually, John remote viewed it, and it was a wide variety of things, including the economy and different things.

But actually, that had something to do with it. And it wasn’t just the Bigfoot. There were other things like this kirshtaka and this thing called a mahaha that actually were really screwing around with people. And people were like, you know, I mean, we’re talking about children being, being brought down into the waters if they get too close to the, to the lake or whatever, you know, or the ocean. I mean, it’s, it’s brutal over there. But this, these trees being flipped upside down by these Bigfoot are absolutely insane. And there’s so many stories of people going to that area and getting chased out by something massive coming down from the hills.

Like, really aggressive screams. It’s just, it’s pretty weird. Yeah. Yeah. Actually, we had a fan, uh, kind of reach out to us and, and share their personal story, and this person, uh, it was one of the reasons why they, you know, were watching our show was because of what they were experiencing. And it was really interesting to hear him speak because he was like, you know, he didn’t believe in these things. He was in Alaska doing some work there, and then he, you know, he was like, the girl’s mom that he was staying. As she was saying, she was, you know, she’s part of, like, the local native people, and she was like, she was talking about the Bigfoot there, and, and he was just like, oh, whatever, you know, they don’t exist, you know, so.

Yeah, but, yeah, but I think he was talking about this. Like, they were walking and they started seeing these trees that were upside down, and he was just, like, mind blown, like, who could do this? What is really happening? You know? How is this possible? And, and, and then, you know, I think he said that they, they encountered something and they were there. It was a really bad smell, and they just took off running and there was, like, a bad experience. And then, but he did say that later on, he saw this creature across the lake, and, you know, he was kind of, like, wondering if that’s is this bigfoot.

And then he said that’s when he stood up and it was, like, 15ft tall. That’s big even for Bigfoot. Yeah. And he said he went from, like, not believing any of this stuff to all of a sudden like, his mind was just like. I mean, he just went through this massive transformation. It was like everything I thought wasn’t true and all, you know, just make believe all of a sudden became this reality for me. So he just, like, went through this massive, like, deep dive for years, trying to figure out all these things and understand the stuff, and he’s like, that’s how I found you guys.

So it’s just kind of a cool story, you know? So maybe I’m kind of hoping, like, one day maybe he can, like, tell his story, you know? Yeah, dude, I don’t know. One of the craziest bigfoot stories I’ve ever heard in my life. Yeah, Rob and I were just both like, we need to interview him or something. Oh, this is crazy. I literally want that guy to take us to Prince of Wales island. And, yeah, he was like, we should do something. I’m like, dude, I’m totally for it, man. So maybe one day, you know, I, like I said, I don’t.

Yeah, if he wants to say who he is and everything, that’s fine, you know, I don’t want to say it right now, so one day we’ll see if we can do that, because that would be phenomenal to experience all of that. Just absolutely awesome. But, yeah, he was. But he was telling us that a lot of the military people, a lot of the police force in the area, I mean, it’s really remote, you know, but he’s like, everyone just kind of knows about this stuff up there, cuz. Yeah, there’s, like, strange disappearances that happen, too. That’s why I really feel like you have to talk to local people if you want to get down to what’s really going on with cryptids.

Like, out in Ohio, they have this thing called the stick man. Like, what the heck is that? Yeah, I remember hearing about this. Yeah, the Bigfoot. I don’t know, but, like, there’s a. There’s a stick man out there. There’s like, every. Every area has, like, weird stuff going on. You know, Kentucky has those, like, goblins living in the. In the caves, you know? I mean, like, Florida, we have skunk ape, which is different than Bigfoot. Yeah, he’s more like a yaoi or something. Yeah. And you don’t really hear about skunk apes anywhere else other than, you know, here.

So, I mean, a lot of it is like, how the media kind of labels these things, you know? But. But it’s like, yeah, the skunk ape is very different. You know, I looks like a Bigfoot cousin or something. From this, from how people describe that they’re not as tall as normal Bigfoot. It’s like, maybe like 6ft instead of, like 8ft or something like that. But all right. You’d think in, like, the frozen tundra, things would grow smaller. Why are the things always bigger in Alaska? Like, the bears are bigger because, well, I guess the terrain is rough, right? So if you’re small, you’re going to have a really hard time walking through the snow and walking through the terrain.

So if you’re bigger, you can just kind of go through it more. I mean, that’s. That’s kind of what I think, you know, like, here in Florida, every. You know, everything’s flat, so you don’t have to be, like, super big and tall. And also, if it was big and tall, it would stand out a little bit more, too. So therefore, I think they’re, like, just smaller because they fit in more in the terrain. I don’t know, I’m just, you know. No, I’m following you. Yeah. To think about. Yeah. Because that. That’s the only thing that would make sense to.

I mean, if you look at, like, animals are the same way, you know, how animals adapt to their environments and different, you know, depending on where they are. So goldfish is a perfect example. You know, if you have a goldfish in a tank, it’s just going to stay small. You put it in, like, a, you know, a giant pond and it becomes huge. Right. Very strange stuff. Some believe it was worse than Jack the Ripper’s crimes on September 5, 1934, this small, forsaken neighborhood that probably would have faded away into oblivion, etched its name in in history.

And the weird part is, is that there were very suspicious circumstances revolving around the suspects, which adds even more mystery to these horrible crimes. Little did they know at the time that this would end up becoming the biggest investigation in the Cleveland Police Department’s history. All right, let’s get into some of these strange disappearances. So, I mean, there’s so, my gosh, there’s so many of them.

I was just kind of selecting some of the top ones that happened. Um, let’s start, like, with this one number. This number one. Here we have the US Air Force Douglas plane. So this was, this is probably one of the strangest cases, this plane. It was a mysterious disappearance of the USAF c five C 54 Skymaster, which vanished on January, in January of 1950. It was en route from Alaska to Montana. So they were transporting about 40 military personnel, and there was a civilian with a woman and a children, too. The plane departed from Anchorage, Alaska, heading towards Great Falls, Montana.

It made a routine radio contact near Snag, Yukon, but then disappeared without any distress call. So that’s the weird thing. So what happened? Well, there’s a bunch. There was, like, the search efforts. So an extensive search was launched involving both american and canadian forces, despite one of the largest search and rescue operations of its time. I mean, it. They, like, brought in everybody. They brought in both military and just normal, you know, search and rescue teams and everything. Underneath the sun, nothing. And what’s even weirder is that there was not a single. No wreckage was ever found.

Not even like a chair or a seat from the plane. Nothing was found. And so then all these theories started coming out. And, like, you could see in the newspapers, you know, all through that time period, like, everyone’s looking, there’s all these theories that came out after, like, two years of nothing. Then they’re like, what could potentially happen? So the main, the first one was weather. They thought maybe severe weather conditions, but then they. The plane was equipped for weather, so. And the pilots were very experienced flying in bad weather. And the other aspect was no wreckage was ever found.

So they’re like, okay, that’s probably not it. Then they thought, well, maybe it was a navigation error, and maybe the plane went off course and then, you know, went into, like, deep in the forest or maybe in the ocean. But again, there was no proof that this. This ever happened. Also, they never called in any mayday, so that was the other aspect. Then they thought maybe it was a mechanical failure. Then they thought maybe Russia was involved. But in the end, like, then, like, over the years, Russia was like, nope, we had nothing to do with this, you know, given them as a cold war going on.

So there’s been numerous documentaries and all kinds of things trying to explain this. The families on board never, unfortunately, never received any sense of closure. The event remains an open case with the air force. So, no, I mean, there. There was some wreckage that was found thinking that this was possibly it, but then when they checked the, um, the numbers and everything, it was not the. From the plane. So very strange. This is a massive plane. We’re talking about. Huge plane. This isn’t just, like, you know, some little small plane. So very, very weird. This is probably the one of the weirdest cases out of all of them, just because it involves a lot of people and a gigantic plane, a military plane, no less, you know, so that’s weird.

So, rob, you want to take number two here? Yeah, sure. So this is Thomas Anthony Newsey. He was last seen by friends on June 15, 2001, and was officially reported missing on June 19 after failing to arrive for work in Bethel, Alaska. Okay, so the disappearance. Nusey was staying at a super eight hotel on Minnesota Drive in Anchorage, Alaska. His last known activities included purchasing items at a nearby gasoline station on June 18, where his image was captured on surveillance. So his vehicle was found. He used a red 1997 Jeep Cherokee, and it was discovered at the Alpenglow ski area in Chugach State park, about 12 miles from Anchorage.

So before his disappearance, kind of where it gets weird. A security guard witnessed an attempt by a woman and a man, not Newtsie, trying to break into his jeep. The same couple was seen breaking into his vehicle. Again, they were present in his hotel room after he was last seen. Okay, so the unidentified man and woman seen with Newtie or in his room are considered persons of interest. A housekeeper noticed a man, not newt, see, in his room the morning he was reported missing. See? Yeah. Who are these people? Who are these people? Yeah. Nutsee was a registered nurse who traveled frequently for work, had a few friends and no permanent address, often staying in hotels.

Now, despite extensive searches in the area where his jeep was found, no sign of Newtsie has been discovered since his disappearance. The case remains unsolved with no conclusive evidence of what happened to him. There’s an ongoing public interest and speculation about his fate, with some suggesting foul play, while others consider the possibility he orchestrated his disappearance. Appearance. The anchorage police department continues to seek information regarding Thomas Newt. See, his appearance, it remains unsolved. You know, and, like, it’s hard to say. Like, were these people, like possibly related to the military or something? I mean, you would think these are like small towns.

Again, you. I mean, but it happened in a big city. I can understand, but it’s like, you know, who are these? But why would the military have anything to do with this? This guy was mean. That’s what I don’t. It all depends on what people are working on, who they are, the background. I mean, this is where it gets really complicated. Yeah. I mean, or are these like, you know, what is going on? I mean, imagine if this was like some kind of, uh. I mean, it would be cool for unsolved mysteries to do something on this, but.

Okay, let’s just speculate for a moment, right? He’s a registered nurse. Dude’s traveling around, doesn’t have a permanent address. That’s already kind of weird, right? That’s weird because, I mean, look, I’m not a nurse, but I know most nurses have a permanent address somewhere. Yeah, somewhere. Enough money to have an address. Would you stay in hotels all the time? Yeah, that’s. That’s a rough life. Yeah. That’s what makes me wonder if. Did he see something he wasn’t supposed to see? Okay, so there could be that. Or was he involved in something? That’s who that, like, was a part of him.

His cover was kind of being a registered nurse and traveling around. And maybe because most of this stuff. Think about it, like, most of these things are more simple than they are complicated. Like, it could have had something to do with drugs, you know, miscommunication between the dealer and whoever. I mean, somebody goes missing, you know, that’s exactly it. And it’s like, you know, can you pull a picture of Newtsie again for me, Lindsay? I was reading that and I couldn’t really see. See him. Yeah, the. The other aspect is that, um, again, you know, these missing cases, I mean, it’s everything underneath the sun, you know that some of these are like homicides.

Okay, come on. This guy is a mafiosa. Look at that dude. You not going to tell me this guy is the dawn of. Of freaking Alaska and somebody took over one of the families moved in on him. I mean, that’s, that’s the whole thing, you know, we just don’t know, you know, the truth. But anyway, going back to what I was saying, yes, some of these are homicide. Some of these are just straight up missing people cases. We’ll get into, like, some more of these unusual ones. You know, I kind of. I tried to find ones that were like, each one was a little different.

Yeah. So, okay, so this next one is this pilot, um, Alan Foster. This is also a really big one and is missing aircraft. So Alan Foster, though not widely known, joins also this whole eerie roster of vanishing from the alaskan triangle. So this just kind of happened within the last decade. On September 9, 2013, Foster piloted a piper plane which disappeared. Appeared during its flight over the region. According to the national transportation safety Board, Foster was navigating by visual flight rules, having refueled and then departing again around 03:30 p.m. so that’s where he was refueling it.

So he communicated with the flight service, mentioning a potential stop and cordova and depending on, you know, weather conditions and things like that. Now, astonishing, astonishingly, just 18 minutes post departure, his plane was last seen on radar at approximately like a thousand feet, descending between different parts of, like, the gulf of Alaska and whatnot. And then all of a sudden, boom. Just vanished. Literally vanished off the radar. Like they saw him on the radar. It’s just gone. They’re like, what just happened? Despite his extensive experience, like, this guy had almost 10,000 hours of flight hours. And also very.

He was very. He was communicating with the, you know, the tower quite frequently about his flight conditions because they were worried about the weather. And so he was, he was constantly talking to them about it. Then all of a sudden, he just disappears. Their first reaction was that, oh, this must be from the weather. However, neither he nor any wreckage has been discovered. Okay, that’s weird. Yeah. Portal stuff, this. Yeah. And again, like, no one really knows exactly what happened here. So, I mean, go missing completely, entirely. No, no, right. I mean, nothing found at all.

Like no wing, no propeller, no any. Well, then, if it was found, they’re like, okay, he must have crashed in a storm or something. All of these disappearances that, like, that we’re talking about here? No, no evidence whatsoever. None. That’s not normal. Yeah, absolutely none. Super weird. I mean, the new z one sounded more of like a true crime thing. Right, but. Right, that’s what I mean. Like, some of these are, they’re, they’re considered homicides. Some of these are, you know, very, very different. Um, just, you know, people just. It’s like. It’s like, uh, what you would say about the missing person’s case, the four one one.

You know, in national parks, it’s like similar situations. Dogs go on scent all sudden. It just. The scent just stops. You know, that’s where a lot of these cases have, you know. And again, the terrain is very rough, but in all of these situations, nobody has been ever found like the ones that we’re kind of talking about now. There’s no evidence. No body has ever been found. No plane. No, like, boats have gone missing. You know? I mean, again, if something crashes in the water, it could have just sunk to the bottom. You would think of a plane crash.

You would eventually have something wash up on debris of some sort. Something. Something would wash up. Nothing. Nothing at all. Very strange, that is. Let’s just go to this, um, go to this last one, Rob. Um, the, uh, read the disappearances of the two us congressmen, because this is probably the. This is super weird. All right, so the Cessna 310 C aircraft mysteriously disappeared in Alaska in 1972, which was carrying two us congressmen, Hale Boggs and Nick Bagich, along with an aide and the pilot. Flight details. Okay, so this was October 16, 1972. The Cessna 310 took off from Anchorage, headed for Juneau on a campaign trip for Nick Begich.

His reelection. There he is right there. He looks like a made man, too. What the heck? All right. Despite poor weather conditions, the flight proceeded under visual flight rules. The plane never reached its destination, leading to one of the largest search operations in Alaska’s history involving multiple military and civilian aircraft. But no wreckage was found. The National Transportation Safety Board concluded the weather was not conducive for VFR flight, suggesting weather, pilot error, or mechanical failure might have contributed to the disappearance. However, various conspiracy theories also emerged, including suggestions of a bomb on board or assassination due to BoG’s involvement in the war.

Warren commission, or croatian heritage. Just for being croatian. Yeah, yeah. Well, because they’re. They were, like, suspecting maybe Russia or something like that did that. But again, no wreckage was ever found. So this was like, the early speculations where they were like, oh, well, even newspapers reported possible assassination, you know, or something like that. But then when. Because if there was a bomb, you would have some evidence of that, some wreckage of some sort, and there was nothing like, absolutely. Okay, this is. There have been some recent develops. Developments because there’s a guy named John Wall Thack.

He has a podcast called missing in Alaska, and this has kind of brought renewed attention to the case, and it explored, you know, some new leads and potential wreckage sightings. Yeah. Yeah. So they. Some. Some wreckage was reportedly found in this place called Hinch Hitchinbrook island. But it cannot be concluded that this was the wreckage from that particular plane. That particular plane. So it’s kind of. It remains unsolved. Mm hmm. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Pretty interesting, though. Very interesting. Missing is no joke, dude. Right. Yeah. I mean, and that’s. That’s why it’s one of. It’s considered one of the most probably in the top, like, number one as the weirdest one, just because it was two congressmen, a whole entire plane, and a bunch of other people that was there with.

With them, you know? So the first one, again, is the weird, like, also very strange because it also deals with this massive plane that just disappeared. That’s military. So, yeah, very, very strange stuff. I mean, this is just the tip of an iceberg. I mean, you’re talking about 20,000 people that disappeared. I mean, there’s, the list just goes on forever. I mean, we would be here till next year talking about all the weird disappearances. You know, it’s why there’s so many documentaries and videos about each one of these, because you could just take any one of these cases and just literally just research the heck out of this and talk to so many people.

You know, these documentaries literally have some of these local authorities saying, like, it’s the oddest thing ever. You know, we. We put all these resources in to try to find this, and nothing, you know, follow foot tracks, and it’s just. They just stop mysteriously, you know, very strange stuff. So.
