Bibudev Misra suggests that in the ancient past, the universe was less dense, making everything larger – humans, plants, and possibly the planet. This theory is supported by ancient human fossils showing larger brain capacity. Misra ties this to the cyclical theory of the Kali Yuga, suggesting we’ve shrunk as we’ve moved away from the universe’s center. However, this theory is speculative and not universally accepted.

I think it was Bibudev Misra who was talking about this concept on my show where in the ancient past the density of the physical universe was, well, less dense. It was much lighter in relation to what we are currently existing as. And therefore, the average size of human beings was larger, the average size of plants was larger, and maybe even the planet itself was larger. But it was mostly air, right? So this is like when someone gives you like a cheese puff instead of a piece of cheese, it’s the same amount of matter, it’s just less dense.

So it looks like it’s got more mass. Yeah, I guess, yeah, that gets to the, you know, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold argument. But no, I think what we’re talking about are, it’s more than just our own density, it’s the entire density of the physical realm. So according to this logic, and according to what they found in ancient fossils of human beings, or proto human beings from I think 20,000 years ago, their brain capacity was something like 20% larger. And Beebu Dev Misra fits us into his cyclical theory saying that, you know, we’re in the sort of end of the Kali Yuga right now.

So we’ve kind of shrunk and become lesser than what we were at the opposite spectrum of the Kali Yuga because the galactic energy, the center of the universe, you know, we’re further away from it. And again, it’s a lot of hypotheticals and a lot of speculation. Or maybe we just weren’t using a whole lot of it. And nature was just like, you don’t need that extra 20%. That’s just dragging you down, guy. So it just slowly melted away. According to modern science, we only use 20% or 10% of our brain. I don’t know if that’s an actual scientific claim.

That sounds something more that comes up in movies. Yeah, that is one of those like cliches that is actually a misnomer. I don’t know how true that is. I think Freud said that that only our brain is like, you know, was that was that on his third or fourth day of being awake for 24 hours on coke? Well, I think that’s it’s more about the subconscious mind and the super conscious mind and that our conscious mind is only really 10% of what we actually perceive of our mind. How can one person know that if they’re learning through a mind? Well, it also it always reminds me of when someone just brings up like, oh man, 90% of people believe this.

And, you know, there’s never a study that they present after making a statement quite like that. So it falls into there. Yeah, it’s dubious claims for sure. Well, just like I know pretty much for a fact that over 95% of my audience is much smarter than any other audience out there. I would concur. I think both of our audiences are actually tied for first place, smartest podcast audiences. And that’s, you know, the most recent statistics I’ve seen. Well, I know my, my Mensa audience can beat up your Mensa audience, though. Oh, okay. Now we’re going beyond mental test since we’re at a stalemate.

Now you want to take physical out of the people in my audience that are already in Mensa. They can beat up the people in your audience that are in Mensa. So, but so physically and mentally superior in both ways. Okay. That’s fair. You know, if we do see each other on the battlefield, just know that you just gave away some vital intelligence.
