Summary

➡ The article discusses the theory that the Nephilim, a race of giants mentioned in the Bible, may have survived the Great Flood through their DNA being carried by the wives of Noah’s sons. It suggests that these women could have been carriers of Nephilim DNA, which was then passed down through generations, occasionally resulting in giant offspring. The article also explores the possibility that the curse Noah placed on his son Ham’s descendants was due to Nephilim bloodline contamination. This theory is supported by the presence of giants among the Canaanites, Ham’s descendants, centuries after the flood.
➡ The text discusses various theories about the survival of the Nephilim, a hybrid species mentioned in biblical texts, after the Great Flood. One theory suggests that they survived through the wives of Noah’s sons, while another proposes that they were recreated by a second group of divine beings, the Watchers, after the flood. Some believe the Nephilim survived underground, while others suggest they exist as spiritual entities that can possess humans. The text also explores the idea of genetic memory, where the Nephilim’s traits could be passed down through generations.
➡ This text explores the idea that humanity’s fascination with giants, power, and becoming god-like could be influenced by the nephilim, mythical beings from ancient stories. While mainstream scientists don’t support this idea, it’s popular in religious and paranormal circles. The text suggests that the nephilim might still exist, not physically, but through influencing our behavior. It ends by encouraging readers to keep an open mind and to watch a related video.

Do you know that you might have Nephilim blood running through your veins? In 1911, newspapers reported the discovery of giant skeletons in a cave in Lovelock, Nevada, some measuring over nine feet tall. But as quickly as they were found, they vanished. The thing is, they weren’t the first. From mounds to valleys, the remains of giants have been dug up, photographed, and quietly removed from public record. If you wonder why, then brace yourself. The official backstory runs deep, far deep into uncountable millennia back in time. Where did those giant bones come from? What if they belong to the descendants of the Nephilim? And if they do, how did the Nephilim escape the Great Flood and survive till this day? We will find out together in this new episode of Secret Origins.

Welcome. First, let’s take a trip to where it all began. The Bible. Genesis 6, 1, 2 and 4 says when human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. The Nephilim were on the Earth in those days and also afterward, when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them, they were the heroes of old men of renown. In those days, there was an abominable relationship between the sons of God and the daughters of men.

Like many scholars say, these sons of God were fallen angels sent to Earth on a mission. But while on the job, they got sidetracked by the irresistible beauty before their eyes. The fallen angels found the daughters of men too pretty to resist, so they took the women for wives and had children by them. The result? An unholy combination of spirit and human. The Nephilim. What would one expect from the relationship between mortals and immortals? A normal child was far from the line. So these women bore children who were nothing like normal humans. Instead, they towered as lumbering giants and were even known to be wicked.

Not only were they physically intimidating, but their presence on the Earth wrought a great dilemma for people at the time, adding this to the atrocities committed by Sodom and Gomorrah. It was not long before God became fed up. He knew it was time to clean up. So in Genesis 6:17, God said to Noah, I am going to bring floodwaters on the Earth to destroy all life under the heavens. Every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. After this announcement, God instructs Noah about the building measurements to follow as he worked on the ark.

And once the ark was completed, the disastrous flood came along, wiping out every form of life, all except those in the ark. But many centuries later, we see something strange in the Bible, strange enough to make us question the Great Flood and the information provided about it. We see Goliath of Gath, a Philistine soldier who derived joy from taunting the Israelites and instilling fear in their armies. But Goliath was no ordinary warrior. He was a towering giant. The Bible describes his height as six cubits and a span. For context, this Translates to roughly 9ft, 9 inches.

Can you believe that? This lumbering giant was too terrifying to look at. And he challenged the Israelites for a long while. Since his figure does not match that of normal humans, the concerns started brewing in the background. How does Goliath exist after the Flood wiped away the Nephilim? What if the Nephilim bloodline was not entirely eradicated by the Great Flood? Imagine this. The rain is falling heavily. The floodwaters are rising above buildings and every existing structure. The only thing afloat, the volume of water, is an ark. Noah’s ark. This large boat carries the last refuge of uncorrupted humanity and floats atop the world that is being wiped clean.

However, beneath the surface of this divine plan, there might have been a loophole. One that reveals that maybe not everyone on that ark was uncorrupted. One or more carried the Nephilim bloodline aboard. According to the Jewish text called the Book of Jasher, Noah had three Shem, Ham, and Japheth. While this information is not new, the Book of Jasher reveals that the three sons of Noah were already married before the ark was built. But nothing is said about their wives. We know nothing about the women whom the sons of Noah married. No names, no lineages, and no origin stories.

Just three anonymous women brought aboard. Could it be that one or more of these women carried Nephilim DNA? What if they were not giants themselves, but mere carriers of a diluted strain? Think about it. There were countless unholy unions between fallen angels and. And the daughters of men. Many rabbinic commentaries suggest that Ham’s wife may have descended from one of these unholy unions. And for a bigger catch, what if it wasn’t just Ham’s wife, but his brother’s spouses as well? This would mean that the ark did not just save the lives of Noah’s family, but also preserved the very bloodline God intended to destroy.

And this is where things get interesting. Genetic dilution. This means that traits don’t just vanish in one generation. What if the Nephilim DNA has been passed down in trace amounts through the ages. Although dormant, it is still present, reemerging in sudden ways. You see it in abnormally tall stature, unusual strength, and psychological anomalies. Perhaps the Flood did not end the Nephilim story. What if it restarted? Does not end here. When we consider what happened after the Flood, the theory gains even more traction. Specifically, what happened with Ham, Noah’s youngest son. In Genesis, chapter nine, we are told that Ham saw his father’s nakedness while Noah was drunk with wine.

Not only did he witness the sight of his father’s nudity, but he shared it with his brothers. When Noah was sober, he became furious and cursed Canaan, the son of Ham. In his words, cursed be Canaan, the lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers. Since the Bible does not explain why such a harsh punishment was given for an offense so vague, it seems that there was more to the pronouncement. Many researchers believe that the curse was not about disrespect. Rather, it represents bloodline contamination, with the Nephilim ranking high in that regard. How, you ask? Centuries later, we see the Canaanites, the descendants of Canaan, son of Ham, producing giant offspring as well.

In no time, the children of Israel began to encounter Anakim and Rephaim, a tribe of giants descending from the Canaanites. We see this. When Moses sent Hebrew spies to look over the land of Canaan, their report was chilling. In numbers, chapter 1331-33, they reported, we can’t attack those people. They are stronger than we are. And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, the land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there. The descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim.

We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes. And we looked the same to them. Wait, did they say Nephilim? You heard that right. Nephilim. And this happened centuries after the great flood, which was meant to wipe out every trace of the Nephilim from Earth’s surface. The spies testified that they saw the descendants of Anak who came from the Nephilim, and they lived in Canaan, Ham’s land. This brings us back to the curse laid on Ham after he saw his father’s nakedness. What if the curse was not random? Could it be that it was the result of a hidden inheritance? One dormant gene passed through his wife and manifested again in the post flood world? If not, do we call it a Coincidence that the land of Canaan became the hotspot for giants? Or did the Nephilim DNA that thrived on the Ark finally find room to grow again? We know this theory almost sounds like blasphemy to the ears, else what do you call Noah’s lineage that was described as Perfect in Genesis 6, 9? It was said that Noah was perfect in his generations.

This would mean that not one unholy breath could be found in Noah’s lineage, both in his past and present. In addition, we see how infuriated God was over the abominable relationship between the sons of God and the daughters of men. We see this expressed anger of God in more apocryphal texts like the Book of Enoch. In the Book of Enoch, chapter 10, verse 11 to 13, we read, and the Lord said unto Michael, go bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness.

And when their sons have slain one another and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for 70 generations in the valleys of the earth till the day of their judgment and of their consummation till the judgment that is forever and ever is consummated. This is how angry the Lord was towards the union between the fallen angels and women on the earth. So the question remains, if God was this furious against the Nephilim, why would he let any trace of them survive through the Great Flood? The answer is no reason, it makes no sense.

If he let them survive, it would mean that the entire point of the Flood was a waste. The Great Flood was made to be a divine reboot and not a half hearted cleanse. Other theorists argue that if the wives of Noah’s sons were tainted, God would have rejected them too. Since the passengers of the ark were deliberately selected for their purity, the theory of the Nephilim surviving till this day through the ark seems like a flop. But if this theory is wrong, why do giants still reappear after the flood? Why does Goliath exist? Why did Og of Bashan reappear? Well, maybe the corruption did not come back through Noah’s Ark.

Instead, maybe it never left in the first place. If the Nephilim did not survive the Flood, then someone must have recreated them. This is the heart of the second theory, known by many as the second Incursion hypothesis. According to the apocryphal Book of Enoch and Book of Jubilees, a group of divine beings came to Earth in the days before the Flood. They were known as the Watchers, like we see in the Bible, the Watchers in the Book of Enoch took an uncommon liking to the women of the earth. And they did not stop there. Instead, they proceeded to marry human wives and produce hybrid offspring.

In the words of the Apocryphal book, they corrupted creation with forbidden knowledge. While it is true that the Lord sent the flood to wipe out their atrocities from Earth’s surface, there might be more to it than what we ever knew. What if not all the Watchers were destroyed or imprisoned? This comes up as a valid idea because In Enoch chapter 10, verse 9, we and destroy the children of fornication and the children of the Watchers from amongst men and cause them to go forth. Send them one against the other, that they may destroy each other in 10 battle for length of days shall they not have.

This means that not all were destroyed by the flood. Some were turned against themselves in battle. The second invasion hypothesis suggests that a second group of Watchers, or fallen angels, descended when the flood was over. Not only did they return, but they also restarted the unholy matrimony between divine beings and daughters of men. This would explain why giants suddenly show up in numbers 13, making the Israelite spies say, we saw the Nephilim there, the descendants of Anak. We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes. It would also explain the troubling consistency of giant tribes across Canaan, I.e.

the Rephaim, Emim and Zamzumim. If there was a second angelic rebellion, then the Nephilim did not survive the flood in the first place. They were recreated. If the recreation talk surprises you, think again. The Bible is not the only book that hints at this. In ancient Mesopotamia, their texts speak of a group called the Apkallu. These are half human, half divine sages who brought civilization to humanity after a great flood. Like the Watchers, the Apkallu descended from the gods, married human women, and were punished by the chief deity, Enlil. But guess what? After the flood, new Apkallu emerged.

This brought about a second wave of divine human hybrids. There is a God called Enki who is known as the trickster God of wisdom. In his case, Enki defied the will of heaven to share forbidden knowledge with mankind. In some versions, he survives the flood. In others, he returns. So we see that nearly every ancient culture has a version of this pattern. Destruction by a flood followed by a return of divine beings. What if it were the same with the Nephilim? However, there is a huge deal breaker. In the Book of Enoch, we are Told that the original Watchers were punished and bound beneath the earth until the Day of Judgment, some were thrown into a dark abyss, locked and guarded by archangels.

If this is true, how could they return? This led many scholars to argue that there was only one rebellion, one invasion alone. Everything after the Flood, including the Canaan Giants and Goliath of Gath, was the result of surviving genetic lines, not new unions between angels and women. Some notorious scholars suggest that only the chief Watchers were imprisoned, leaving lower ranking rebels free to act again. Others claim that new fallen angels may have joined Satan’s cause after the Flood, carrying on the corruption from where their predecessors left off. If you found the second invasion theory terrifying, brace yourself.

There is a creepier way that the Nephilim may have used to retain their DNA among us today. Picture this. There is war in the land and everyone is running for their lives. Many will remember their passports and book emergency flights, while others will use alternative routes. For a hybrid species like the Nephilim, an alternative route may have been underground. According to some Bible theorists, the Nephilim were not totally wiped out by the flood. They survived by retreating beneath the surface of the earth. Caves, vast tunnels and the hollow earth, you name it. The story of giants hiding underground is old news and universal.

In Tibetan and Hindu lore, there is a hidden realm beneath the Himalayas called the shambhala. Even the 19th century Agartha myth describes a sub world ruled by citizens of terrific size and wisdom. Are these all a coincidence or scattered pieces of the truth? What if the descendants of the Nephilim escaped to the only place the floodwaters couldn’t reach? It gets even more interesting with the Lovelock story. In Lovelock, Nevada, a small cave near the Humboldt river became the epicenter of one of North America’s most bizarre archaeological controversies. 1911, the year when guano miners stumbled upon thousands of artifacts.

Baskets, tools, bones, and something else. They found massive skeletal remains. According to early reports, these skeletons measured over nine feet tall, with red hair still clinging to the skulls. Newspapers caught fire with the story. The Nevada State Journal also reported in 1931 that two skeletons, one 8ft, the other over 10ft, were unearthed in nearby lake beds. Local museums, like the Humboldt Museum, held samples of the giant sandals and bone fragments. But over time, the giant remains began to vanish. Some say they were turned over to the Smithsonian, never to be seen again. Enter the conspiracy alarm.

What if a cover up took place? With the government wanting to preserve the official narrative that giants never existed? To start with, it is no surprise that the giant Discovery stories are quickly buried. We know it too. If one giant skeleton were confirmed as genuine to the public, it could force history, science and even theology to rewrite their stories. And this is too much work for those in power. Of course. Mainstream archaeology says, not so fast. Most experts attribute the Lovelock discoveries to exaggeration, misinterpretation or outright hoaxes. They say the so called giant skulls were likely from large Native American individuals or distorted through storytelling.

In 2014, the Smithsonian officially denied ever possessing giant skeletons from Lovelock or elsewhere. DNA tests on red haired mummies from Peru, once thought to be Nephilim, showed nothing outside the range of normal human variation. To the public eye, no verified Nephilim DNA has ever been recovered. No skeleton over 8ft has been conclusively documented and peer reviewed. Still, the stories don’t die. They keep surfacing, repeating, evolving. So if there’s nothing down there, why are so many cultures so sure there is? What if everything we’ve assumed so far is wrong? What if the Nephilim were never fully physical to begin with? Some researchers and theologians propose a radical theory.

The Nephilim were not just hybrid flesh and blood beings. They were spiritual entities, conscious beings, not bound by death, flood or decay. In other words, they didn’t survive the flood because of genetics. They survived because you can’t drown a spirit. According to Enoch and writings from early Jewish mysticism, the Nephilim’s physical bodies were destroyed, but their spirits were not. Instead, they became restless, malevolent forces doomed to wander the earth. This matches the description of demons in multiple ancient traditions. Disembodied spirits seeking hosts. In this view, the Nephilim are not extinct. They’re just invisible. And worse, they’re still active.

Some believe they operate through possession. That is, they embed themselves within humans, bloodlines or systems of power. These carriers may not know they are host, yet they exhibit certain traits. A thirst for control, manipulation, cruelty, even supernatural charisma. This isn’t just mythology. It mirrors Sumerian exorcism texts, Christian deliverance, theology, and even modern UFO abduction lore. Once again, the question arises, are we dealing with ancient spirits or something far stranger? But what if the Nephilim influence doesn’t require literal possession? What if it’s deeper, built into our very psychology? Some researchers have turned to the idea of genetic memory.

This is a controversial but growing field, suggesting we can inherit more than just physical traits. Trauma, instinctual fears, and even behavioral patterns may be passed down epigenetically. Now imagine this applied to the Nephilim. Even if their DNA didn’t survive intact. Perhaps their urges did. Their lust for domination, their obsession with forbidden knowledge, their rebellion against divine order, you name it. What if those tendencies echo through us? Could this explain humanity’s persistent fascination with giants, hybrids and transhumanism? How about our hunger for power, control, and for becoming gods ourselves? It’s a chilling thought that the nephilim are not just in our myths, but in our minds.

Not just walking among us, but whispering into our beings and guiding us. But of course, mainstream scientists dismiss this entirely. There is no proven framework for spiritual genetics or consciousness transfer across generations. Theories of possession or inherited demonic traits are often lumped into paranormal pseudoscience. But the theory has traction in religious and paranormal communities, where stories of ancestral curses, occult bloodlines, and generational spirits are taken seriously. And the longer these legends survive and repeat across cultures, the harder they are to ignore. Whether it’s literal or symbolic, the nephilim may have found a way to live on, not in our blood, but also in our behavior.

So maybe the nephilim never left at all. Maybe they just changed form. What do you think? Which theory seems most likely to you? The underground escape, the second incursion, or something else entirely? Tell us in the comments and leave a like. And if this got you thinking, you have to see our video on the Watchers next. It ties everything together. Keep your minds open, and until we meet again.
