You know what I’m hearing? Someone is right on the edge of their breakthrough, but they can’t quite grasp what’s happening yet. Yesterday, God whispered, you are so close. And today I kept hearing over and over again, peace that surpasses all understanding. That’s not just a phrase, it’s a promise. It’s from Philippians 4-7, and it’s God’s way of saying, I know this doesn’t make sense to you right now, but I’m still here. There’s a shift happening. It’s not subtle either. For many of God’s children, this looks like moving to a new city, starting a new job, enrolling in a new program, even walking away from long-standing relationships and familiar circles.

And for someone specific, you literally said the words, I can’t believe this is happening to me. You didn’t plan this, you didn’t see it coming. And now your whole world is tilting. God is showing me that this confusion, this sense of disorientation, it’s not a sign that you’re off track. It’s confirmation that you’ve been divinely re-rooted. You’re being pulled out of the familiar because it no longer fits where you’re headed. That uneasiness you’re feeling. That spiritual labor. This shift feels like birth pains because something sacred is being delivered through you. You’re being taken somewhere where peace lives, not temporary calm, but divine peace.

Where the air is clearer and the blessings have been waiting. But before those doors open, something old has to close. But God is showing me something so clear, just like in the natural, after the contraction, after the push, after the cry, there comes peace. The moment the new thing arrives, so does the relief. You don’t even have to understand how or when. That’s not your job. The Most High is saying, my peace surpasses all understanding. Right now, you might feel overwhelmed by the weight of unanswered questions. Maybe you’re asking, what happens next? How will I make it? Why did it have to go down like this? And I’m here to tell you, you may never get the full answers, but what you will get is a peace that doesn’t need explanation.

A peace that holds you steady when nothing else makes sense. So lean into the letting go. Let it ache if it has to. But don’t resist the shift, because where God is taking you, confusion cannot follow and pain cannot stay. Peace is already on the way. Here’s what I’m picking up. Right now, it doesn’t make sense. And honestly, it’s not supposed to. The way things have unraveled, the way certain people fell off, the timing of it all, it feels confusing. Maybe even unfair. You’re looking around at the pieces and trying to fit them into a picture that just won’t form, because that picture only becomes clear when you arrive at the place God is leading you to.

What the divine is saying is this. When you finally reach the destination, he has set aside for you. The place, the assignment, the season that was designed just for you. Then and only then will the revelation come. Then you’ll look back and say, oh, now I see why it had to happen like that. You’ll see why certain doors had to shut, why you had to leave that place, why that person couldn’t go with you. And when that clarity comes, it won’t just bring understanding. It’ll bring peace. The kind of peace that settles deep into your bones and lets you exhale fully for the first time in a long while.

The truth is, had it been up to you, you wouldn’t have moved. You would have stayed right where it felt safe. In that relationship, that job, that routine, you would have kept walking in circles, choosing familiarity over purpose. But heaven knew better. And because God loves you too much to let you stay stuck, he allowed the shift. He allowed the discomfort. He allowed what felt like disruption to reroute you toward destiny. And yes, you may still be in the middle of that in between space, not where you used to be, but not yet where you’re going.

And that realignment feels a lot like labor pains. It’s tight. It’s unfamiliar. It pushes everything to the surface, your fears, your doubts, your grief. But God is guarding your path, guarding your heart, and keeping your mind steady. Even when the ground under you is shaking. You’re not being punished. You’re being preserved.
