Saudi Arabia plays a central role in Bible prophecy and the first and yet to happen, Gog and Magog war. The Bible prophesies that Saudi Arabia and Israel will be at peace with one another. We are once again witnessing Bible prophecy happen right before our eyes and this will ultimately lead to Saudi Arabia actually turning from their false ways and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord. Saudi Arabia and Israel have never been in any formal conflicts, but since Israel was founded in 1948, Saudi Arabia and its Persian Gulf neighbors have shunned the Jewish state in solidarity with Palestinians.
While Saudi Arabia has never formally been in a conflict or attacked Israel, they’re definitely a Muslim nation with Islam’s most holiest site being located in western Saudi Arabia and that is of course Mecca. It’s no secret that Muslims typically don’t like Israel or Jewish people. The leader of the Muslim Brotherhood described Zionists as bloodsuckers who attack the Palestinians, warmongers, and descendants of apes and pigs. So only in a prophetic scenario set up by the one true God, the God of the Bible, could we see such an event take place like Saudi Arabia become friendly with Israel.
Mohammed bin Salman discusses what seemed unlikely just a few years ago, normal diplomatic relations with Israel. For us the Palestinian issue is very important. We need to solve that part and we have a good negotiation to continue. Till now we gotta see where it will go. So you think if you were to characterize it, are you close? Every day we get closer. Yeah, we just got back from Riyadh. I know you heard those words from the Saudi Crown Prince. What was your response? Well, I was delighted to hear what he had to say and to borrow a phrase.
I think we’re getting closer to peace every day that passes. You talked about it today in your UN speech. You talked pretty optimistically about it. I believe that we are at the cusp of an even more dramatic breakthrough. An historic peace between Israel and Saudi Arabia. That clip was recorded over a year ago, but we have seen this continued prophetic relationship build even in articles that are posted six days ago. Saudi Arabia rejects deal with US in favor of reconciliation with Israel. Saudi Arabia has abandoned an ambitious defense deal with Washington in exchange for the normalization of relations with Israel.
And a few months ago, when Iran was attacking Israel, Saudi Arabia actually came to Israel’s defense. Saudi Arabia says it helped defend Israel against Iran. Saudi Arabia acknowledged that it had helped the newly forged regional military coalition, Israel, the United States, Jordan, the United Kingdom, and France, repel an Iranian attack against the Jewish state earlier Sunday morning. The relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel being friendly to one another is prophesied in Ezekiel 38 when Gog and Magog come against Israel and Saudi Arabia questions them for doing it. Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish and all their young lions will say to you, have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder? Sheba, Dedan, and Qadar are all locations that are now in present day Saudi Arabia.
And we’ll look at a few Bible verses here soon that actually show that these areas of Saudi Arabia will ultimately turn to and accept the Lord Jesus Christ. Ezekiel 38 goes on to say that before this Gog and Magog war, that Israel will dwell safely and without walls. Hard to imagine that level of peace coming to Israel, but it is prophesied to happen before the Gog and Magog assault against Israel. Don’t forget that Jesus prophesied this attack against Israel would come, so does the book of Revelation, as well as some Old Testament books like the book of Zechariah.
This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their flesh will rot while they are standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. This obviously sounds like a large bomb of some sort that will do this type of damage against the people who come against Jerusalem. Interestingly enough, we hear Mohammed bin Salaam also saying in the same conversation where he says he’s becoming more friendly with Israel that if Iran gets a nuke, a weapon of this nature, that they, Saudi Arabia, need a nuke as well.
But when asked what he would do if Iran obtained a nuclear weapon, he said Saudi Arabia would do the same. If they get one, we have to get one. Seeing Saudi Arabia and Israel build this relationship proves that the Bible was written by inspiration of God through his Holy Spirit. No human could predict everything happening in the world right now like the Bible has done. The best news of this all is that the Bible prophesies that these different areas that are in Saudi Arabia will ultimately turn to and accept the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Qidar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Silah sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory to the Lord and declare his praise in the coastlands. The multitude of camels shall cover your land. The dramedaries of Midian and Ifa, all those from Sheba shall come. They shall bring gold and incense, and they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord. All the flocks of Qidar shall be gathered together to you. The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you.
They shall ascend with acceptance on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. All the sons of those who afflicted you shall come bowing to you, and all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet, and they shall call you the city of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Zion is a term that can mean a physical location in Jerusalem, the city of David, but it’s also associated with meaning the presence of God, his kingdom, and his ultimate plan for salvation and redemption.
It’s awesome to see that so many people who you’d never expect will be turning to and accepting the Lord Jesus Christ in the last days. This is something I hope and pray you’ve already done so we can all join together in unity in the acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of the world. After these things I looked and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice saying, salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb.
