Further emphasizing this concern, actress Shirley Maclane reportedly turned down the role of the mother in ‘Poltergeist.’ According to IMDB, her decision was based on objections to the film’s terrorization of children. Maclane’s apprehension highlights a broader unease with the movie’s approach.

In addition to its psychological impact, ‘Poltergeist’ is also shrouded in mystery due to the untimely deaths of several actors associated with the film series. These tragedies have fueled an urban legend about the movie being cursed.

These aspects of ‘Poltergeist’—its targeted terrorizing of children and the eerie fate of its cast—have led to a disturbing conclusion for some: either the film is cursed, or there is a deeper malaise within the movie industry itself.

Praying on children 

The movie “Poltergeist” follows the story of a little girl named Carol Anne Freeling, who is five years old. Heather O’Rourke portrays this character. Carol Anne becomes taken away by malicious spirits that interact with her via the TV. She refers to these entities as the “TV people”.

These TV people exist with an evil entity called the beast.

In the film ‘Poltergeist,’ the presence of malevolent entities, notably referred to as ‘the TV people’ and ‘the beast,’ offers a gateway to explore the intricate and hidden language of symbols and numbers that some believe the elites use. This language, rooted in gematria and Jewish Kabbalah mysticism, reveals intriguing connections within the film.

For instance, ‘the beast’ equals 29 in Chaldean Gematria, which is considered the oldest and purest cipher, based on numbers one through eight.

This numerological value matches phrases like ‘canaanites’ and ‘cannibalism,’ both equating to 29. This correlation raises questions about the symbolic intentions of Hollywood elites, who are sometimes referred to as ‘pedavores’ – a term suggesting involvement in pedophilia and cannibalism. According to some theories, these individuals engage in consuming adrenochrome from children, a substance believed to halt aging by affecting DNA telomeres.

Gripping the headboard of her bed while a wind machine ferociously propelled toys into the closet, she was reportedly overwhelmed to the point of distress. This incident underscores the potentially traumatic experiences of child actors in horror film production.

Building on this, there exists a theory suggesting a darker motive behind such intense filmmaking, especially with children. It is argued by some that the induced fear and trauma in young actors, like Heather, serve a purpose beyond cinematic realism. When he screamed out, ‘I can’t breathe!’ directors Steven Spielberg and Tobe Hooper thought that the boy was ad-libbing and instructed him to look at the camera. In the aforementioned scene, Dana, the eldest Freeling child, experiences catcalling from grown men working in the backyard. This incident is another example of the film’s theme of preying on the young.

TV PEOPLE

After being sucked into the closet, Carole Ann disappears. Her distraught parents soon discover that they can communicate with her through the television. In this process, they come to the unsettling realization that the entities within the TV, the ‘TV people,’ are malevolent. In one harrowing scene, Carole Ann’s panicked voice echoes from the television, heightening the sense of terror:

‘“Mommy, there’s somebody coming! Mommy, help me, please! Get away from me! Leave me alone!”’

Feeling utterly powerless against these ‘TV people,’ her mother desperately yells out:

Interestingly, the quote ‘you bastards, she’s just a baby’ that Carol Anne’s mother cries out in ‘Poltergeist’ equates to 75 in Gematria using the Chaldean cipher.

This numerical value intriguingly matches that of ‘Sound of Freedom,’ another movie that delves into themes of child trafficking and pedophilia.

Given the thematic similarities between these two films, it raises the question: is this numerical alignment merely a coincidence, or does it suggest a deeper, perhaps intentional, connection in the cinematic exploration of such sensitive topics?

Then, a medium called Tangina comes in to save Carol Anne from the spirits.

Tangina, in ‘Poltergeist,’ describes a ‘terrible presence’ that clings to Carol Anne, offering a chilling insight:

‘It keeps Carol Ann very close to it (…). It lies to her. It says things only a child can understand. To her, it is simply another child. To us, it is the Beast. She’s under restraint. There are so many arms about her. She thinks it’s safe.’

Strikingly, Tangina’s words could also metaphorically depict the sinister tactics of Hollywood child predators, who lure innocent children into their deceptive realm, much like the ‘TV people’ in the movie.

As the film reaches its climax, the situation escalates dramatically, resulting in a chaotic and intense finale.

A disturbing fact about the production of ‘Poltergeist’ is that the filmmakers used actual dead bodies in some of the scenes. Despite this unsettling choice, the movie received a PG rating. This decision, combined with the use of real corpses, has led some to believe that the film was cursed.

The use of deceased bodies can be seen as an aspect of Necromancy, a practice in magic that involves communicating with the dead. Necromancy often entails summoning spirits or apparitions for divination, aiming to foresee future events or uncover hidden knowledge. While typically associated with death magic, the term can also broadly refer to black magic or witchcraft in general. In the context of ‘Poltergeist,’ this practice adds another layer of eeriness and perhaps explains the pervasive sense of dread and supernatural intrigue that surrounds the film.

The curse or peculiar misfortune surrounding ‘Poltergeist’ became more pronounced just months after its release, with the tragic death of Dominique Dunne, who portrayed Dana Freeling, the eldest daughter in the film.

Dunne’s relationship with John Thomas Sweeney, whom she met at a party in 1981, quickly deteriorated into a tumultuous and abusive ordeal. Sweeney, a sous-chef at Ma Maison, exhibited uncontrollable and violent behavior. The extent of the abuse was such that Dunne, who appeared as an abuse victim in ‘Hill Street Blues,’ reportedly required no makeup for the role due to her real-life injuries.

The relationship ended on October 30, 1982. That same night, in a fit of distress, Sweeney confronted Dunne at her home, where she was rehearsing with actor David Packer for ‘V: The Final Battle.’ In a harrowing turn of events, he dragged her outside and strangled her, causing injuries that led to her being declared brain-dead. Dunne’s untimely and tragic death added a dark chapter to the lore surrounding ‘Poltergeist,’ blurring the lines between an alleged curse and the harsh realities of Hollywood.

“On November 4th, 1982, Dominique Dunne was tragically removed from life support and passed away. Adding to the tragedy, the trial of her assailant, John Thomas Sweeney, resulted in what many considered a miscarriage of justice. He was acquitted of second-degree murder and found guilty only of voluntary manslaughter. His sentence was a mere three years in jail, after which he changed his name and relocated to the Pacific Northwest.

In the years that followed, two sequels to ‘Poltergeist’ were released, and each seemed to be shadowed by further misfortune. The deaths of actors involved in these sequels intensified rumors of a ‘Poltergeist curse.’ While some of these deaths could be attributed to illness or natural causes related to old age, the sudden and unexpected death of Heather O’Rourke, who played Carol Anne in the series, sent shockwaves across the nation, adding a chilling chapter to the lore surrounding the ‘Poltergeist’ franchise.

From the release of ‘Poltergeist’ on June 4, 1982, to the tragic passing of Dominique Dunne on November 4, 1982, it spans exactly 154 days, or 5 months and 1 day, including the end date.

This duration, particularly the number 51, holds significance in various numerological and conspiratorial theories. Notably, the Illuminati is often associated with the number 51, as they were reportedly formed on May 1st (5/1) in 1776. Additionally, the phrase ‘angel of death’ is said to equate to 51 in certain numerological systems.

These connections lead to a theory that Dunne’s untimely death was not merely a coincidence but linked to the film in a ritualistic manner, as suggested by the alignment of these numbers.

In the realm of gematria and numerology, such numerical alignments are often seen as more than mere coincidences, pointing to hidden narratives and meanings. What happened to Heather O’Rourke?

“The peculiar circumstances surrounding Heather O’Rourke’s casting in ‘Poltergeist’ marked the beginning of a series of bizarre events associated with her and the film.

Heather O’Rourke was chosen for the film when she was eating lunch with her mother and sister at an “MGM” commissary. Producer Steven Spielberg came up to them and wanted O’Rourke for the part of Carol Anne. She initially failed the screen test because she kept laughing her way through the audition, even when she was supposed to be afraid. Spielberg thought she was too young to take the part seriously, but he still recognized something special in her, so he asked her to come back for another audition, and this time, bring a scary storybook with her. He also asked her to scream, so she screamed and screamed until she started crying. This audition got her cast as Carol Anne. – Ibid.

A few years after her involvement in ‘Poltergeist,’ Heather O’Rourke tragically passed away on February 1, 1988, at the young age of 12, while she was filming ‘Poltergeist III.’ She suffered two cardiac arrests leading to her death. The official cause was cited as ‘congenital stenosis of the intestine complicated by septic shock.’ However, the suddenness of her death left doctors puzzled, as this condition typically doesn’t lead to such rapid and fatal outcomes in young children. Daniel Hollander, the doctor who treated O’Rourke, described her death as ‘distinctly unusual,’ adding an air of mystery and unresolved questions to her untimely passing.

It’s fascinating to note that the duration from the release of ‘Poltergeist’ on June 4, 1982, to the untimely death of Heather O’Rourke on February 1, 1988, spans exactly 2,069 days. This number, 2069, holds particular significance in Latin Gematria, also known as Jewish Gematria. It corresponds to ‘The Sisterhood Of Eve And The Brotherhood Of Cain,’ phrases that are often associated with elite bloodlines and secret societies linked to these mythical figures.

This connection is intriguing, especially considering the theories surrounding O’Rourke’s death. Some speculate that her passing was not solely due to medical complications but was exacerbated by the trauma of alleged ritualistic abuse.

The death of 12-year-old ″Poltergeist″ actress Heather O’Rourke was ″distinctly unusual″ because she lacked prior symptoms of the bowel defect that reportedly killed her, gastrointestinal doctors say.

I would have expected a lot of (digestive) difficulties throughout her life and not just to have developed a problem all of a sudden,″ said Dr. Daniel Hollander, head of gastroenterology at the University of California, Irvine, Medical Center.

Other specialists, also unconnected with the case, said Wednesday it was possible she died as the result of a birth defect, but added that the circumstances of her death were extremely unusual. (…)

Terry Merryman, spokeswoman for Children’s Hospital of San Diego, said Heather died Monday of septic shock due to congenital stenosis of the lower intestine, or bowel. That means she died of shock caused by an infection in the blood, which in turn was caused by a birth defect that made a section of her intestine abnormally narrow.

Such narrowing typically reduces bowel diameter to one-eighth inch instead of the normal half inch, impeding movement of food and fluid through the bowel. The defect usually is apparent at birth because it causes severe abdominal pain, vomiting and nausea, Hollander said, adding that it is very rare for the disorder to kill an older child who lacked prior symptoms.

Mike Meyer, the actress’ manager and lawyer, said Heather didn’t suffer chronic digestive problems, and the bowel narrowing wasn’t discovered until she underwent surgery and died on the operating table after suffering cardiac arrest en route to the hospital.

Hollander speculated that Heather’s bowel narrowing might not have been congenital but could have developed suddenly due to inflammation. (…)

Moderate bowel narrowing at birth might not cause symptoms, but a lack of symptoms before age 12 ″would be distinctly unusual,″ said Dr. Paul Hyman, chief of pediatric gastroenterology at Harbor-University of California, Los Angeles, Medical Center. (…)

″I cannot understand what precipitated the death because it’s usually clear when they’re born they have an important disease,″ said Dr. Carlo Di Lorenzo, a University of Southern California pediatrician.

″It just doesn’t seem to quite make sense,″ said Dr. Hartley Cohen, a USC gastroenterologist.

″It’s weird,″ Meyer said. ″She was completely healthy Saturday, they thought she had the flu on Sunday and she was dead on Monday.″

In short, O’Rourke’s death had something to do with her intestines. However, if she had been born with this issue, O’Rourke would have displayed severe symptoms. So what happened?

In 2017, “Enty”, the anonymous entertainment lawyer behind the famed Hollywood gossip site Crazy Days and Nights provided a highly disturbing explanation. In the blind item titled “Molesters Killed Her” (which was later revealed to be about O’Rourke), Enty writes:

Back in the mid-80’s was peak child molesting time in Hollywood. There was no internet. There were very very few mobile phones. Children came to the set where they were left alone by their parents. For the next 8 hours they were subject to every kind of horrible thing you can imagine. Drugs were commonplace. They were used to try and get the kids to not be so hysterical when being assaulted.

Producers loved casting shows with kids and tweens. If someone pitched a show that involved a handful of tweens with a dozen tween extras per week, it would get a green light. Even if the show was going to suck, and everyone knew it was going to suck, if you got the right pedo at a studio he would say yes just to come for the casting and taping of the pilot. As sad as it is to say, there were a lot of parents who told their kids to go off with the nice man in the suit and do what he says. It was a sick sick time.

It was just past the mid 80’s when a producer came up with the idea of a tween show that not only would feature a rotating cast of extras, but would make the studio a bunch of money because they would film quickly and not hire any adults. Further, the faster they filmed, the more time they would have to molest all the kids that would be hanging around.

From the first day, it was the worst place on earth if you were a kid. The studio where the show was filmed also had several other shows being filmed there, most of which featured lots of children. Executives would drive over to Hollywood right before lunch and would stay at the studio for several hours each day.

Anyway, on this particular show, there was a special guest star. A very special guest star. Still not a tween, everyone knew who she was. Executives flocked to the studio that day to see her. She was first molested when she was 5 or 6 and had continued to be molested throughout her hit movies and also on a previous show.

One of the stars of the show who has spent her life bouncing in and out of rehab because of what she saw, and who was actually nominated for awards from the show, described the atmosphere that day.

“A bunch of f**king pigs. I had just turned 12 or 13. I was the same age as the actress coming in. Maybe a little older. We had been shooting for months and I was old news. They knew I would do what they wanted, but they always wanted someone new. This was someone new and someone they all knew. They had it set up like a peep show almost. She had finished shooting that morning and they brought her out on a stage. The stage was used most of the time for a game show that was taped there. That game show is still on today. I can’t watch it knowing what happened to her there.

They brought her out and the front four rows of this theatre were filled with guys who were already rubbing themselves. The girl was wearing a bikini. The show took place around a beach just so they could make these girls wear next to nothing. They had her walk around under the lights. The lights were focused on her and she couldn’t really see out to the audience. She was squinting. It must have been blinding for her. They had her walk back and forth. Then they had her start dancing. All of these guys were doing what another star at that same studio got busted for. This went on for about 20 minutes. Then three of the guys took her to a different area of the studio.”

The actress didn’t see what happened, but about 45 minutes later, one of those three guys came running out and needed a set medic. Apparently they had inserted something inside the girl and things were bad. The medic came and the ambulance came. The parents of the girl were told some crap story. That crap story ended up killing the girl because the parents believed the executives. Two weeks later, the show finished shooting six episodes all at once and then everyone was sent on their way forever. No one wanted the kids around or any witnesses to what happened.

Inquisitive individuals have connected various clues to suggest that the TV series in question was ‘Rocky Road,’ in which O’Rourke appeared in the episode titled ‘Moscow on Boardwalk,’ aired in May 1987. The actress of similar age involved in these theories is believed to be Marcianne Warman.

While these theories originate from a gossip site and should be approached with skepticism, the site’s operator, known as Enty, has gained recognition for accurately predicting several high-profile scandals. Since the creation of the site in 2006, Enty has published stories about figures like Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, and Matt Lauer, well before their misconduct was publicly acknowledged.

The theory proposed by Enty offers a possible explanation for the sudden development of intestinal issues in O’Rourke, adding a layer of plausibility to these otherwise unsubstantiated claims.

Furthermore, in 2020, Enty posted another disturbing revelation regarding O’Rourke. This post suggested that the young actress continued to face turmoil even after her death. While the specifics of this claim are not detailed here, the very notion contributes to the tragic narrative that has surrounded O’Rourke’s life and legacy.

For nearly a decade, the things that occurred at the tomb of this deceased A- list child star actually resulted in her body being permanently moved to an unmarked grave in 2001.

She was originally placed in an above-ground mausoleum, which is still marked with her name and at which people still leave flowers and teddy bears. The weird stuff began happening the day after her interment. A man was seen after sundown taking a bouquet of flowers from her grave, but he fled before he could be identified.

In the summer of 1988 someone used red spray paint to write “ALL WORN OUT – RR” across the marble face of her vault. The family was notified, it was photographed, and then over the course of five hours the vault was cleaned. The police were called, but they didn’t think it was important. For whatever reason the photograph didn’t develop properly.

Sometime in the fall of 1988 another man (probably the same as before, but there is no way of knowing) was spotted kneeling in front of her tomb after dark. He also fled when spotted.

On the anniversary of her death in 1989, her family (mom, dad, stepdad, sister, grandparents) gathered at the tomb to remember her. It was very somber, they held hands, the sister placed a little stuffed Dumbo in front of the grave. As they were about to leave a man approached them and said something which frightened the mother. Her dad and stepdad each took her by an arm and led her away, back over to their car. Then they left. The unidentified man stayed behind and picked up the little Dumbo that the sister left and stuffed it in his pocket before leaving.

Now here’s where things get really strange.

There wasn’t much activity around her grave for several years. Then, in about 1991, her body was exhumed. It was done in the dark, so no one would notice. Her body was returned to the tomb three days later.

In 1992, her body was exhumed a second time. One of the police present was asked why they were exhuming her again. He said, “What do you mean, ‘again’?

Turns out the first exhumation wasn’t legal even though they had what looked like real police and really good paperwork. Why did they want with the body of a deceased 12 year old?

Surely it would warrant an investigation, right?

Nope.

Anyway, the coroner’s office kept her for about a week before she was brought back and we reinterred her.

In 1994 somebody had smashed the face of her tomb, removed her body, cut some hair from her head, and (fortunately) placed her back in the crypt. A worker there saw the corpse and he said she looked remarkably well-preserved. He started to float the possibility that her body had actually been replaced with an exact replica.

The police investigation went nowhere. In 1999 there was another vandalism of the tomb. It wasn’t another smashing, but red spray paint had been used again to write “BK KILLED ME”. In the summer of 2001, her family had her body moved to an unmarked below-ground grave.

Crazy Days and Nights readers deduced that “RR – All worn out” was probably a reference to the show Rocky Road. “All worn out” could have been a reference to O’Rourke’s being “worn out” by the abuse. “BK KILLED ME” could refer to Bruce Kane, the producer of Rocky Road.

There’s an interesting numerical connection found in the phrase ‘BK KILLED ME,’ which equates to 31 in Chaldean gematria.

Intriguingly, this value matches that of ‘All hail Satan.’ Additionally, the same cipher value, 31, is linked to ‘the matrix,’ a concept that resonates with the idea of a simulated reality.

This numerological alignment could be seen as reflective of the way realities are shaped by those in power. In this perspective, the ‘evil elites’ are thought to construct narratives that define our perceived reality, regardless of the underlying truth.
